I want to look at Nancy's trades. Nancy, you got to share us. If you're taking of us today, let us know. But you. You gotta walk me through how you played Nvidia the other day. Good grief.
I did not play anything today. Nothing. I tried a couple things, but it never triggered me in. And then it went the opposite direction. I'm like, okay, we're not going bearish today.
We're.
We're gonna swap around and go bullish. So I. I didn't get in any today, so.
So cool.
You want me to pull up my. I don't know if I have my chart. Me. Let me go find my chart and I'll share my screen here in just a second.
Yeah, because me and Garrett, we're studying. We're trying to be like you, just waking up and making money.
I was thinking that we could just let her handle all the trades and.
Yeah, can we just. Just pull the money and just have Nancy do it?
Pull it all together and let her do it?
Yes, please.
It's unanimous.
You're elect. Jeremy. How are you, big dog? Is that beet juice?
Watermelon juice.
Watermelon juice. Nice.
Happy birthday.
Thanks, bro. Thanks, man. 36.
Young pup.
Yeah. Yes. Yes. All right, awesome. We can see your chart. So you're so yesterday. So you were just looking at mostly having bull trades yesterday. Was that kind of like the. Your. Your opinion? You're like, all right, I'm just looking for bullish. I'm just gonna play it bullish.
I just. I had decided that if it went bearish, you know, if it started going down, I was going to try for some short term bull trades on the bounces back where I figured they would happen. I. I don't know. It was just the. The feeling I had that I had enough room in there that I could get one in with the lines that I had drawn. It's like on. On this one here. Let's see if I can even figure out how to draw annotate on here. I. I don't know how. Let's see. Where's annotations at?
On Zoom, it's at the very top. Click on View Options and then click.
On Annotate Few options.
Well.
Maybe you'll have to annotate for me as I talk through it.
I can do that.
Okay. So when it came down and it hit, I had marked my dailies, my weeklies, my monthlies in there, and I had decided beforehand that if I came down to that weekly 10, I was gonna place a trade back up to try to get to that pre market low. So that was my goal. So that's how I chose my stop on the other end where I was gonna go because I didn't want to go all the way below the daily 50 for my stop. I felt like I would not make it back up to the daily 10. So I just went for the target first and then set my stop based off of the target.
How did you choose Nvidia?
It had had the gap and so that's how I chose Nvidia was really because it had met the criteria that I could trade it.
Yeah.
And it had a large move already going on. At first I was like, there's no way it's going to keep going lower. But it kept going and that was part of the reason I had started to go bullish on it because I'm like, wow, this has already dropped so much. There's no way it's going to keep going.
But it did.
So I go ahead.
Yeah. Look at this chart. Just look at that, Garrett. Isn't that awesome? Just a Picasso.
That's perfect. Yeah.
Yeah. I got lucky on the second one. I just said, well, this is where I moved my stop to on the first one. I'll just make that my target on the second one.
Yeah.
Amazing that you made money going the wrong way. That's awesome. You really can either. Either direction. You can.
Yeah.
Always.
Almost.
I mean, yeah.
You know, I felt, especially with it being a weekly, I felt for sure it should bounce a little bit there. I was a little more confident with the other. But the. When I got down to the daily 50, it had dropped so much for the day that I thought it's going to bounce again.
So.
Tom, it's really good.
You know, I could have taken some of the ones going the other way, but on that first 10 EMA, after the first trade that I did, I was concerned that I was just going to get a double bottom and I wouldn't make a target going down there because of how low it had gone. I. I just need to study Nvidia more to see that. No, it's can perfectly go, well, much lower. So.
Well, I mean, I like the pattern though too, because this is. I know it seems kind of obvious, but a lot of traders, they, they short at new lows and that's, you know, even though the uptrend's bearish, you don't want to short at new lows. Right. I mean, because it was like if we're doing a wave count, you know, I mean, People are always shorting there. It's like, that's not the time to get in. Like, you got to establish the trend and that's literally your, your trade is essentially you played the, the bottom of the waves going back up.
Yeah, I figured it would s. Curve and then it would probably go down again. But I just didn't have the, I guess the confidence to take the, the bear trade on the way back down after it bounced because I'm like, oh, it's going to go here and bounce. But then I was like, oh, but it may not bounce very far. So I didn't have that confidence to go bearish. Like I seem to have the confidence to go bullish.
Hey, all good. Great trade though.
Great trade.
And I know you're still working on the bear trades in general anyway, so. All good. The beautiful work. I love what, what stood out to me the most is just how, how you marked everything ahead of time and just kind of had like your levels planned out with the pre market low and the weekly 10. It's like that's just a beautiful example of spending a little bit of time ahead of time on the chart and just going, hey, this is what I'm looking for. That's what I'm planning to do.
Yeah, I just off of things we've learned in the past.
Speaking of, Garrett, all right, so you gotta walk us through your Tesla trade.
Okay. One from today.
Yep.
Yeah. Two from. Two from today actually. So it was, you know, a little bit of a, of a gap up at Open and yeah, we're in. Have a. I feel like we're, we're heading down. It was an inside day, so I was expecting a little bit of an uptick. Matter of fact, I was sitting at a coffee shop at, down at the beach when I did this, and I was veggies, ordered some breakfast and I saw it take off going up and I thought I should just get in short, like right up in here. And then, you know, the waitress was asking for my order and I swell. You know, that was a risky trade anyway, so I'll just wait and then I'm waiting on my breakfast and it, it makes this, you know, big long retrace and, and, and then it drops below the, the hundred on, on my chart and I can see it, it definitely heading down. So I got in short here, but, you know, just a 50 cent risk and watched it trace all the way down. I was looking at this 180 mark there, thinking that that's, that's kind of.
The.
The target for the day, I felt like. And. And I put this in, you know, earlier, thinking that was. That's where interest was going to be. So I watched it plow past that, and I thought, well, it may just, you know, cut off. So I closed the trade there with five hours and ate my breakfast, came back to my house, and I rolled back into my house, and it's just now rebounding off of this. And, And. And, you know, kind of like she was saying, I felt like I had enough of a gap back up to the hundreds that I could, you know, I put my. My template on, and that's what I do. A lot of times, my template landed in between my target and the 100, so I just shortened it up. Normally, my target is ours. I just shortened it back up to the. The 180 again. And then, you know, 20 minutes later or whatever, it hit that target. That was enough for me for the day. So 100 cast. I. I felt like it was just gonna hang around this price all day anyway. So, you know, I just done.
That's wild. Well, I mean, I. I love this trade a lot because this is. This is one of my favorite patterns. So you get. You get the indecision candle, you know, that first five minutes and because like you said, the daily trend is still kind of bearish. Right. Like, we're still kind of overall. Yeah. So we gapped up first five minutes, and then you close below it. Now, what's cool about that candle is it closes below the first high wave indecision candle. But as you guys will all notice, too, you're below every moving average on a screen. Yeah, that's the other thing too, is remember, if you ever have it on your screen, make sure it. Right.
So the doubles I have on there, I didn't explain, but I've got two oranges and two purples. That's the EMA and the sma. And I did that because it just. They always seem to be one or the other. And having one or the other makes. The other day when. When I. I missed that Tesla top was because I didn't have the SMA. I had the EMA. Yeah, the 100 EMA. I didn't notice it hit the 100 because I didn't have that version. Right. So I just changed my indicators to show both. And it's actually. It's helping me. I feel like it's giving me a different perspective. Yeah, Both.
Yeah. Hey, I think it's free. It's free to have both.
It's free.
Yeah.
And it's not confusing to me, which is one of the things I'm careful about is I don't want too many.
Yep.
Things telling me what to do. Yep. Exactly.
I love the clothes. Love the clothes. Love the clothes. Of that candle. The volume trap entering bearish below all the moving averages. It's a. Yeah, it's a beautiful trade. Great job. And this one too. So, you know, you got the, the tweezer bottoms, you got the hammer like you said you had room to go between here and even here. Really? Yeah.
It sort of built a base of consolidation there. So I figured, you know, those, those three candles, but those four candles before all topped out at like 100. So I figured if it breaks that then it's going in the right direction is what, you know, the tails below it and everything. I felt like it was a good, great trade. Dude.
Well done. Well done, buddy.
Thought process.
Yeah. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I love it. Eric, we're just reviewing people's trades, man. Looking at what we're cool today or this week. You got anything for us?
Do you think Carvana is going to come back down and fill that gap?
Nope.
It's going to just roar, huh? Yep. Wow, that's cool.
Yeah. That, this. The short interest is still too high on that one.
It is.
It's 30 something percent squeeze.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
One more question. What is Nvidia? Is that going to be back at 900 or a thousand by the end of the year, you think?
End of the year. 100 guaranteed.
Okay. So I, I took, I bought 100 shares to mess around with and like three days ago and then it just.
Fell out of the.
Bought it on the wrong day ball in an update.
Eric.
I bought it on a third down day. Well, well no, it was. It had two updates. I'll tell you when I bought it. April 30th, two day Tuesday.
Yep. It's okay.
Yep. Because I thought well had two updates and then one kind of sideways day and I thought it was consolidating and we might break out again but. So I'm backwards in it, but I can just do some options and stuff and hang out till the end of the year or whatever.
Oh yeah, yeah.
Didn't look. It didn't make my account look very good.
It'll hit 900 before the end of the month.
Okay.
Yeah.
A thousand.
Just thousand. Just a matter of time.
Okay.
Yeah. And awesome. What's cool about Nvidia is this one has. I mean this is tons of premium tons. So pretty decent update today. Like so if you're selling a 900 or 925 or 950, just make sure you're doing it before earnings because then as you get closer to earnings, I think you'll have the ability to get into a really, really good collar on Nvidia.
Have.
You'll have some fun on that.
And just be sure that I'm in a caller in case earnings aren't. In case it drops during earnings.
Yeah.
Okay. Very good.
Yep.
Very good. Thank you.
Yeah. What else you got, man? Anything else? Cool. I know your apple had a good little pop the other day.
Yeah, it did. Do you think silver's going to go back up to. Is silver going to hit 30 SLV? Isn't that your favorite one?
This is the way I trade silver. Yep.
So, big fan.
Yeah.
I think that'll be. What's your per based on the chart? I think it's gonna break that 27 or 28ish sometime.
It will, sure. Yeah, it will. I just do. I love doing covered calls on silver because it's one of those things where it's like it can trade sideways for the rest of human history. And I'm okay with that because really, you'll normally almost always get 1-1/2% on a covered call for a month and some change. So just, just keep selling covered calls on that one above 27 or 28. If it does close above there and you get some even better.
Yeah. Awesome. Yeah, awesome.
Yeah. Okay. Cool, man. Jeremy, what you got trading, big guy?
I'm. Let me pull it up. So. Taking that trade would. I think John posted it.
Yep.
So in the profits right now, which is nice. Just letting that one roll, it looks like. I think it's in a wave five. So, yeah, it's fun to watch. Go up. And this one, there's another one that I'm in. It was I found on a scanner and I just liked how it keeps trading off of the moving averages. And then we had a nice hammer off the moving average. So I set up my. My entry. And that one's moving nicely too. So those are two swings that I'm in right now. And then there's something on. Yeah. On American Airlines that I was watching. It popped up on a scan that I did as well. But it kind of. I had a thing set up because it looked like we were starting maybe a wave two. But I'm just keeping an eye on it now because it's. And to see what it actually does, kind of expect it to come back up. What's that?
That's a pre trace. You're not in that one yet? You're just waiting for it?
No, not in this one yet. No.
Okay.
Man, those other two are beautiful. So wait a minute. So you found ROIV on a scanner?
Yeah.
How'd you do that?
It was. It was finviz. I think I was using the short squeeze settings that you gave us.
And then you can just find great trades for free.
Yep.
What?
Mind blowing, dude.
The problem I have, and maybe I'll have to get the subscription, is I've had I found some really nice trades in the past, like the Semrush trade and stuff, but I didn't screenshot the settings that I used because I'll just go in there and I'll start. I'll start with like base settings and I'll start fiddling with it. And that's what I'm trying to be conscious of now is like when I have good trades or save the settings and then keep track of the trades that come out of those settings.
So I love that. Yeah, it's okay. Yeah, exactly. Just kind of keep. Keep tabs on them, right?
Yep.
Okay.
Still watching Roku.
Okay.
It hasn't. It hasn't really done anything. It's just compressing right now. So I pick it up. I picked up some shares here and there and like down days I don't have a lot, but yeah, just keeping an eye on it.
I really like that. Walk me through that bare volume. What's your opinion if it closes above there?
Oh, over which one? Oh, well, this more recent. What? So I put all this on before all this happened and I was watching this because I like these gaps and I would love to see them fill and all this bare volume over here from the last earnings. But this is. Yeah, this is the day after earnings, this one. And that's what I'm kind of. Well, that's what I'm watching for is that if we get a close above this, I think it's going to start to climb. But then we do have like the 100 on the weekly and the 10AMA on the weekly that we got to get through. But I think it's in the correction waves as well. So I'm kind of apprehensive of like a bounce off of one of these and then it starts in like another wave down or something.
But gotcha. Love that. Okay, well there's. There's another ticker on your watch list that looks interesting. Walk me through your thoughts and opinions on Nova.
Nova. Yeah, I kept it because there was that one Nova trade somewhere over here, and I got wicked in and then it just. It went down. I haven't really marked up this chart because I haven't been paying too much attention to it, honestly. But I'm kind of looking for this. Right. I have. Yeah. Looked at in days. I like that. That could be like exhaustion volume happening at box this way.
Yeah.
Let's see. Like there.
That's gonna be really cool.
Yes. At like a sort of support level. That's nice. I like that.
Yep.
33% short float on that stock. It closes above that today. That could be a squeeze.
Whoa.
Let's just go ahead and move this higher up on the list.
Yeah. Yeah, I'll wait for it. If that closes above that volume today or tomorrow, I'll get. I'll get into that for sure.
Cool.
Yeah, just looks.
Where would you set up your entry at?
I'm getting above. If it closes above the high of today, I'll get into it.
Okay.
Yeah.
Can we look at BS as well? I saw that on a scanner and it had tons of volume today.
Yeah. Jeremy, walk us through es.
Oh, okay.
Pbs, ebs.
Help us make money on that, dude.
Whoa.
Oh, okay.
Wow.
And I honestly couldn't remember what to do with this, so.
See what Jeremy thinks. What do you think? Big dog.
Goodness. A lot of bad earnings or maybe not too bad. Let me just look at this.
I want to see this.
I got one, two, maybe at the end of a. A month on the monthly, like a down. Cycle. Nope. I am on a call.
Okay.
No, it's not good. Yeah. A lot of buying volume looks like it's kind of people like this price.
Somebody thinks it's.
Looking on the weekly. And there's another bullish volume there. This is very interesting.
Well, we'll start watching it. Yeah, I think. I think would be interesting to see if it can close above here. That resistance. It might trade sideways for a day or two. Probably will. Usually these biotechs, they don't really do much, but if we can do like this and then ultimately if we break above there. Yeah, that'll. That'll have a nice little. A nice little squeeze. Nice little pop.
Nice little pop.
Yeah. So we can keep an eye on that one. I'll put down the list. I'll look at it on Monday.
Jeremy, do you think that even though that's a lot of buying volume on the volume bar, that ultimately that shows a lot of selling pressure, though?
It does.
That volume looks like most of that volume is selling, so.
Yep, exactly. You're 100. Correct. And that. That's. That probably does end up doing this, you know, so close below there. And this is just, you know, continuing to go lower almost without question. But, yeah, if we can. If we end up taking out that selling volume, that would be big.
A week.
Yeah, that'd be huge. That'd be big. Jeremy, walk us through why John Alonzo is playing Snapchat. So bullishly.
So foolishly. Knowing John, he. I think when he posted it, I think if I remember correctly, it was just like those two candles.
Yep.
So you had a big gap up, technically a bullish retest gap. And then you had indecision candle and decision candle, but an inside day. And then we also had this gap and go down, which it kind of seems to be trying to fill.
Kind of crazy, huh? We trade sideways every day since last earnings, and then we gapped above that high.
That's. Yes.
That'S. That's crazy, huh?
Very crazy. I was tempted. I was tempted to get in on that when I posted it because I really. I like this setup. But the. The bullish retest gap, I was like, I don't know.
Yeah. Well, the. The cool part about the. The retest is really, really, since you got that inside day here with. With both those upper shadows, that's really the rest of the retest. It's like, that's. That's really it. And again, you did trap. You gotta think about all the people that played this. So even though that retest. That retest allow. And you can see we did get. We did get two days worth of pullbacks.
Right.
You got some upper shadows, you got some indecision. So, yeah, just playing that by that pretty.
The island reversal is more. More bullish as well, right?
Yep. Great. Great one. Great analysis. Good job, buddy.
Thank you, sir.
Work. Yeah. Does anybody else. Anything. Anyone else play anything that looks cool or any other questions? Trade setups? Thoughts?
I feel I should be some kind of indicator for buying stocks pre or just as they're coming out. I meant to get some carvana yesterday and got distracted or whatever, but the ones that I have been getting into have been falling. The ones that I don't have been going up. So sadly. Yeah.
Annoying.
Yes.
Yeah. Carvana was a monster. It just has such a big short. It just has such a big short squeeze. And there's.
Yeah.
That. The technical charts on that one. If I do this really quick. Yeah, the. The technicals on it. It's. There's just nothing really ultimately stopping it, you know, and then until now, next really 130 is the next level that we're going to end up hitting because go to the weekly chart. That's the 200 on the weekly. So, I mean, from a. I mean, just from a moving average standpoint, there's just nothing there. And you had, you know, some really, really cool patterns in here. But yeah, this was definitely, definitely a very interesting gap. But again, something. Go ahead.
Oh, so finish up on that. I was going to talk about another.
One, but yeah, I was gonna say what's interesting on. On this is just the fact that you do have such a big short float and it had a big gap. Last earnings. We talked very briefly about this strategy with earnings. But Eric, do you remember what it's called if before earnings you buy an AL Money call and an AL money put. And what will be the benefit of something like that?
I don't remember what it's called. It's called a something put spread, probably. Well, the benefit is you could sell a call and buy a call. I mean, a put. You could sell a put and buy a put, and the one is less than the other and the one will make more money than the other. There you go. That's that for a summary.
Good. Yeah, that would. That's a good summary for the. For the bull put spread.
Okay.
Yeah.
I don't remember all the names, but the theory is there.
Yeah, so many. So many. So many names. For sure. But one of the strangle them. Exactly. Yeah. So do you have. You have a strangle and you have a straddle. So these are usually over earnings plays. This is a directional strategy. So it needs to gap big for a straddle or strangle. A strangle is where you have. So think about like you're taking your hands, right, and you're. You're strangling the market. Tom, you have an out of the money call. And so we talked about this recently, last week where I mentioned the biggest return on investments that you'll ever get is buying out of the money calls on uptrending stocks on down days. Right? Because when a call goes from out of the money to end the money, the option just changes so dramatically. So in this one, for example, right, if you had bought $120 call anywhere in here for May expiration, I mean, it essentially increased 400%, which is amazing because calls go up if a stock goes up. Right. So strangle out of the money call, Tom. And then you also have an out of the money put. Now, what's cool about this particular strategy is if the stock gaps big. One of them has to work. Right. And if you know, Eric, that an out of the money put cost $5 and this one costs $5, if the stock gaps more than $10, you know you're going to win on the trade.
Yep.
And the cool part about a put is it can only go to zero. So when you buy the put and it costs five, you know, your absolute maximum worst case scenario is that option loses five. And then really this option loses five. So that's your worst case scenario, is you lose $10.
Tom.
But if the option, if the stock moves more than $10, which it did today, you know, you're gonna, you're gonna crush it. So this particular strategy, the stock has to move big on earnings and then a straddle, which I don't do very often, but a straddle is an in the money call and an in the money put. So instead of Alvin money, it's pretty much right at the price action. So you have an in the money call. Now, who can tell me, Nancy, why you think, why you think people would do straddles? Like, what would be the benefit of it?
Well, that would be if you are still expecting it to kind of just have a small up or down on earnings, you'd still. One of those would definitely still make money.
Yep, exactly. And if you don't, and if it still has a really, really, really big move, you still can make money. That's what's cool about it. Right?
Because just pay a lot more for the opposite one that is going to go to zero.
Exactly, exactly. And that's the only really, just. That's the only really big distinction ultimately is that you just have to pay a lot more and you're going to lose more money on one of them. But, you know, all good. Again, so many strategies to, to do, especially over earnings. But if we go look at our square, so the square trade that we're in is pretty much the exact opposite. This comes out tonight, and the square move is that we are hoping, slash planning for it not to have a big move. If it does gap down on earnings and opens below 60, really 63 or 62, there's nothing really stopping it. And with this bull candle coming in here, that's going to be a bear gap and go. So if we open below this level, we will be below the 100 simple on a weekly, which, surprise, surprise, we're bouncing off of. If we have the strong gap down, this trade up here will work fine. That was the bear call spread. Do you Guys, remember, And then this right here, as Eric said earlier, is the bull put spread, which is the sold the put and buy the put higher. So as long as square doesn't have a big gap, unless it has a big gap up. So it could open up here. And what's cool about that particular trade is if it opens up at 84, we already know how to trade it. I mean, you guys already know you're going to short it up there because you have a bull candle here. You're bouncing off 100 on the simple. You're already low. If it opened up at 84, that'd be like a 20 gap up, you know, and it'd be into the 100 simple on the monthly. So people are going to be taking profit up there and they're going to be selling, and that'll be a very, very, very easy fade. And if it gaps down big again, opening below 61, then I will unravel this spread, which means I will buy to close this sold call. Sorry, sorry. Sold put. Buy to close the sold put. And then I already have the long put. So I just kind of hope that square keeps going down and the long put will go up in value if the stock goes lower, which is what you want. So we'll see tonight. I think it's going to gap up a little bit, and then we'll be perfectly fine. Kind of my thoughts on this one. But talking about earnings, check out Pinterest. So I do have shares of this one and I am in a collar on it. I got into a collar on that gap up open right there, and obviously I'm above my covered call, but this is a really, really cool gap to be watching. I think. This purple line Here is the 200 simple on a weekly chart. And very similar to Snapchat. We're opening above all of this data from last earnings and this resistance here, which is really the last gap down and the tune on the weekly, we're acting as a support. So feel free to keep Pinterest on your watch list because this is a really fun stock to trade. I love trading shares of Pinterest. And again, if I look at the weekly chart, we're working on closing above that 200 weekly. So we close above here this week, and we pull back into this week, there's nothing above it. So I love finding stocks that are in uptrends with not a lot above. And especially if you know what Pinterest is and you use it and you understand how they make money, this could be another fun, fun Little position and start taking advantage of. Yeah, really, really nice gap. Three small bear candles. Really good gap up. Quick little sell off for everyone who was in the shares who sold and then just a nice bounce the next two or three days. Alb, I know sue and Joe and myself are still in this one. Did you, you already bought back your covered call Joe this morning.
Yesterday. Yeah, yeah.
What a legend. Me too. So that one lost 50 of its value and probably going to try to sell another one here soon. I might do like I might do 145June because that's where, that's where the 200 is and just leave that one alone for a little bit. Nova, that's the one that we were just looking at again I'm gonna keep a close on this one for it to close. I know we market closes here in just a little bit. Looks like it'll stay inside. But tomorrow which is Friday, if we open above 450, I will set a limit buy to purchase it probably at 438, 437 maybe a little bit of a pullback. So entry would be like let's just say 435 and the stop loss will be $3 on Nova because yeah I do like that bare volume and as Eric said this one has a pretty high short float. Also Coinbase ticker symbol C O I N has earnings. So let's kind of see if we want to do any analysis with this one. Probably the best time to get into a trade on Coinbase probably would have been on the close of that day or the open of this day since the overall trend is bullish for some put spreads or some bull put spreads down here. I don't love getting into a position when you have two big updates because again the, the premium just isn't going to be the best. But if you don't mind owning some shares or you want some shares of Coinbase, a pretty good premium around 150 to 160. Again it would have been much more ideal to get in on one of these down days. But my thought is I don't, I don't think Coinbase is going to have bad earnings. In fact I think Coinbase is going to gap up a little bit and you know who, who wouldn't want to buy Coinbase at 130 back in February when it was at 270. I think that we can probably still get the opportunity to do that. So just something to be aware of. Let's see, we got 20 minutes until market close. Let's see what kind of premium we can get. Coinbase.
Okay.
Here we go.
Let's go check it out.
Coinbase, Regular May. No, not a lot of premium there right now. 67 cents, although it's not bad. Let's see what it was two days ago. Yep. Yeah. It was the time to get in one. Two days ago. So just two days ago, the 150 put sale for regular May in here was $2 of premium. And right now that same options worth 60 cents. That would have been the day to get in. Yeah. So I just can't. Can't get in right now. We know Apple is having earnings as well tonight. That would have been the better option trade to get into yesterday on that big down day. Let's go see if we can find any kind of cool premium trade on Apple. Usually Apple doesn't have a lot of premium, though.
Let's see.
Regular May.
No.
Nothing. Great. I know Eric's excited for earnings, though. What if it are you? Do you have any plans if it has a big gap up? Eric, are you just gonna let it.
Yeah, I'm gonna get out of it. I'm in a 183. I'm excited if it's gonna break out of there. Just get out in profit. I did sell seven covered calls and made like 800 bucks a few weeks ago or something a couple of weeks ago. So I. I mean, it did make me a little money. But if. Yeah, if it goes up, I'm. I'm. I'm gonna move on.
All right, cool.
Cool.
Something else.
Let's look at your Nvidia. So Invasion. Have a really good premium coming up here soon. Let's see. So Nvidia's earnings. Oh, yeah, we got plenty of time. So if you did a nine, I mean, you're gonna have tons of money here. 925 pays 1140. Yeah, 925 for regular May. So that's two weeks away. Two and a half weeks away because we're already in May right now. So regular May's expiration is May 17th, and then earnings are going to be on the 22nd or 23rd. I think sue bought some Nvidia on this day yesterday. Think she picked some up there? Yeah. All right, Mongo database had a. A small down day today so far. I did sell some calls on this one. We slammed our head against the 200. And again, that's pretty easy to see. We just had really, really strong bull days. Let's see, we had. Yeah. One, two, three, four, five bull days in a row. Right into the 200 Longo database. So that's kind of why we were kind of pulling back from there a little bit. And I still think your IIPR is pretty interesting, Garrett. You had some strong premium coming on this one. Had a group, a really, really nice retest of that 100 and some big, big, big volumes coming in, man.
I'm not in it, but I'm glad I could hook you, hook you up.
Yeah, it's okay. Yeah, that one looks really, really interesting.
It does.
Strong volume. All right.
I know.
We know sue is in her elf position. She probably sold some puts again. Three down days. Look at that. Nice three down days. Boom, boom, boom.
Yeah, she told.
She probably sold some 140s or 130s again. Let's go look at Rivian. I don't think Rivian's anything special. Nope. And then Tesla. All right, so it does appear that Tesla did respect that 100 pretty well on the daily. So at this point I think we're going to kind of ping and pong for a little bit, which is good for day traders. So if anyone's looking to day trade Tesla, you have a nice little hammer today. So if we get a good push tomorrow above the high of today, which I think is very possible, I think we're just going to run right back into the 100.
Personally, some huge put sales right now there. That's all there is. So the price is going to go up, I think.
Yeah, there's a lot of people selling.
Puts, a lot of people buying puts. The dealers are selling, which means they don't want it to go down and they usually get what they want. That's why, that's why I picked that 180 because that's, that's a big, that's a big number for them.
Sure.
They wanted to stick around 180, I think.
Sure. Yeah. It makes sense.
There's incentive for it to go up to 185, 187even.
Yeah, I could see that. I mean really what we're dealing with here is again with that 100 coming down and this and this still being a good gap. Right. This, this was a gap and go. And we are now above the 10 EMA on the weekly. So I, I still think we'll probably do something like this for a little bit, but that's, that's absolutely okay. And then if and when we can break above the 100. Right. Then we should start really kind of starting to recover a little bit. But that'll be, I think in order for that to happen, we need to take out the high of this candle. Within the next three or four days, you'll see that volume is really, really decreasing. Yeah, the big, big, big bull volume coming on that day. So yep, an inside day tomorrow could be nice. And then that, that'll be the best case scenario, inside candle on Friday. Because you guys know Fridays are my least favorite days of day trade. We get an inside count on Friday and then on Monday we pop into here. That'll be a really good day.
All those puts I'm talking about expire on Friday, so it's gonna change tomorrow.
Huh?
Tomorrow's. They're gonna stick to that, that, that zone. But by the end of the day on Friday, it's it all bets are off, it's going somewhere else. So.
Okay.
But yeah, whatever you're saying is probably right. Perfect inside day tomorrow, I think.
Okay.
Makes perfect sense to me. Makes perfect sense.
It looks like Google and Microsoft are both gonna close double inside days today. So they could be fun tomorrow.
Yeah, Yep, Google's gonna be really fun tomorrow. Double inside day on 10 minutes left of the market and micro.
Correct.
Correct. That's going to be a lot of fun. So if you're, if you're day trade those two, keep an eye out on it. If, if you do, if you don't. All good. But yeah, that could be either direction. You know, if the market has a little bit of a downward open a little bit of weakness tomorrow, great. And look to have a little bit of a bear bias. But again, ultimately, I mean we're, we're all, we all know, I think we all know that we're going to go higher. This is a, a good little dip, something like that. Again, just a little bit of a chop for May and then we kind of slowly, slowly press higher. It's a really good pullback overall. So you have a good call, Joe. Inside double inside days on Microsoft and Google. Netflix has a really cool little pattern here. So it's been consolidation, consolidating nicely. And I do think that if anyone's watching Netflix, you could probably get a nice one of these, something like that back up into this resistance. That would be really, really, really cute as well.
But yeah, I picked up a couple.
Shares of Norwegian Cruise Line because its earnings, it dropped pretty good.
It did, yeah. I'm probably gonna get put away Norwegian tomorrow. I got into a little bit of a collar. You almost, you never get paid a lot on Norwegian. But this was right here, that big, big bull day. I got into a 2018 collar and yeah, big drop on earnings yesterday and then we're kind of pulling back today. So you picked up some shares as well?
Yeah, I went ahead and just bought shares when it came down there. I figured get a couple dollars out of it and get out.
Yeah, right on the 100 on the weekly. Smart, smart place to get some. Love that plan.
Yeah.
If it comes down to that red line, I have that on my screen too. I'll just pick up a few more.
Yeah. Is your goal to make some money on Norwegian so you go back on another cruise?
Of course.
I like that. I like that plan. Okay. You know, I've been looking at is Lulu had a nice little down day today.
Again.
So it just traded right into those long terms. Had a really nice little failure. This is about, about when we sold the put last time, the put spread. But I wanted to go a little bit farther. There's just really. There's still no premium, so nothing overly cool. Lulu and then Nike and then Starbucks. So Nike had a nice down day yesterday. I got into some protective puts and obviously of course it's bouncing the exact day I get into puts just in case on Nike. But I love not love some Nike long term. So I'm in on the long term on that one. Boeing, same thing I love today's close. I think we all know Boeing's gonna go higher. I mean this is just a matter of time. Like this is a really, really good close above that bear volume today. So tomorrow if you don't have any Boeing and you want some, I think you could probably pick up a little bit of a retracement and let this thing eventually pop back up into a higher, higher price point. So Boeing looks pretty good for the most part.4% today, closing above that big down day. I got a covered call on Boeing for 210 regular June, which I'll be profitable if it closes above there. So that's kind of what I'm hoping for. That'd be, that'd be a really fun, fun trade. Awesome. Well, here's what we got planned is on Monday we will have a special guest this Monday and next Monday the 6th and the 13th as we start getting into some of the real estate discuss. We're going to talk about tax, depreciation and some more interesting aspects with one of my good buddies named Mike Fritz. He's a huge real estate syndicator that lives in Kentucky. And all month of May we will be reviewing, just kind of chatting about mostly on Mondays, some of the real estate pieces and on Thursdays as general, we will review the markets and just see what's there, what's available, what's moving, what's happening, what trades we're in. If we're playing some REITs, which is a real estate investment trust like IIPR or Iron Mountain, IRM or ticker symbol O or AMT American Tower, there's a bunch of REITS out there, but we'll kind of go through some of those on Thursdays as well and just kind of review it. And then June 24, seven markets, we'll be dealing with crypto futures. And for thanks for hanging out with me, folks. Love you guys so much. You're awesome, Jeremy. Keep crushing it. Great job, buddy. Eric, Joe, Nancy, Garrett, thanks for tuning in, and have a great weekend, family.
Thanks.
Bye. Bye.
Bye.
