A live YouTube group session (host Jerremy Newsome with participants Eric, Joe, Big George) reviewing recent earnings and chart setups to identify trade opportunities and watchlist names. Major companies analyzed include Coinbase, Pinterest, Shopify, Palo Alto Networks, Roku, Nvidia, Nike, Uber, Reddit, Enphase, Lululemon and Bitcoin—discussion mixes fundamental (revenue/earnings) and technical (moving averages, gaps, support/resistance) analysis alongside option strategies (protective puts, covered calls) and day-trading advice. The host also discusses market timing views (possible pullback in Sept–Oct), cash allocation rules, and behavioral signals of euphoria.

The recording, yeah. So that'd be nice, I think. Pretty. Pretty basic, pretty fun, pretty easy. But I would just like to have really, just a conversation and start looking at some things, because I feel like at this stage, 98% of the big companies have kind of had earnings, and so we can do, you know, just some recent review of earnings and talk about what stocks can still soar. I forget who told me this earlier, but they said that we're halfway through the year. We have a whole half a year left, right? Meaning we got all June, July, August, September, October, November, December. Like, we have so much time left. And I want you all to end really strong and, and keep crushing it. We have one more month together where we do our 24, 7 markets, and we'd probably do some futures trades, forex trade, some crypto trades. We do all that stuff together. But between now and then, I still think we can find some good companies just keep an eye out on. So I got some, I got a few that I went through that looked really good to me. Some of these, probably. I don't think most of these would be a big surprise, but I'd like to just go through a little bit of what I see and talk about a few of them. So the first one I got is Coinbase. And Coinbase, I mean, the thing that stands out to me the most is they hit a billion in a. In quarterly revenue pretty dang quick. And they did expect it too, which is pretty interesting. So the expectation was over here in gray. And so the next one, they're expecting to do 1.4 billion. So the, the billions are. Continue to ex. Continue to expect. So I think for Coinbase, if they come out with a quarter where they don't do a billion, that'll probably lead to a big pullback or that'll be a potentially good selling time for you. If you're, if you're watching for that, if you're keeping an eye out on that. And we actually probably remember 2022, right? Coinbase and, and the crypto market and everything. That, that was, that was a pretty big drop. So you can actually see, I mean, from a quarterly basis, like, they've done really well before on an earnings per share. So 2021 and 2020, they did, they, they did quite well and they had a really big drop. So they did a negative 11. So we're kind of like back on the upswing. And again, they thought their, their estimate in 2021 is they're going to be profitable and they estimate that they're going to lose money in 2022, which they did. And they estimated the last year they're going to lose money. We actually made money. But then, you know, this year they're estimating they're going to do $7 a share, so. And I don't know why in 2027 they're thinking they're going to lose money again. But that could be an interesting crypto signal for anyone out there who's thinking about. I, I found that to be kind of interesting in 2027, they're, they're already, at least right now, planning to be losing money. So maybe we got two, two good years left in crypto and then they. Because obviously crypto and Coinbase are going to be pretty tied to each other. If crypto goes down, Coinbase goes down because they have a lot of assets on the books, the RD crypto. Right. They got bitcoin, they got all this stuff. So anyway, could put that in your calendar if you're feeling like there might be a time to exit some of your Coinbase positions. Could be 2026, 2025, if you're profitable on them. All right. The next one that seemed pretty interesting to me is Pinterest, and we'll also look at these charts too. And then if there's any ones that you guys want to look at, you just let me know after we're finished and we'll go through those. But Pinterest, they went from total reporting revenue. It's just a slow increase, it looks like, to me, they haven't really blown it out of the water and they kind of meet expectations, which tells me that if this does go higher, it's going to be a little bit of a slow grind. I don't think it's going to be a huge, huge, huge push higher, like quickly, because they're not making that much. Right. They kind of expected what they're doing. Earnings per share, kind of the same. So this, to me just tells me, like, when companies do this just, it just says that they, they can keep growing, but they're really not going to go. Like, you should have another 200 year on Pinterest. So this will be one of those where, again, if you're actively buying and actively selling, you make some good money on. But you're going to continue to have those fluctuations because it's just a pretty evenly baked position. But again, they're still doing pretty well. Right. They reported 755 million total revenue 2018, then they doubled it 2019, and then just kind of Stayed on pace, but they're still increasing pretty well. So in the last five years, 2018, 2023, we've essentially. Yeah. 5x revenue. 4. 4x.
I got a question, Jeremy.
Yeah, brother.
The earnings per share that you're looking at up there, is that the total profit for the quarter divided by how many shares are outstanding?
Yep.
Okay. And that's important because hedge funds, all the investors, everybody watches that. And as that goes up, they decide to buy or not, right?
Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Earnings per share, if it's lower. Well, I mean, it doesn't, doesn't have to be a bad thing necessarily. But yeah, you do want that number to be increasing. The. Generally, the more, the higher the number is that the better. Right. Because you're just, you're just earning more again per share. Right. Per outstanding share. Now they. That, that also means that they could have less shares too. Right. Which they buy back a bunch of shares, but always just something.
Thank you.
Yeah, yeah, great question. So Shopify. So this one's interesting because it. They're just expecting such a big growth in 2025, 26 and 27. And that kind of stood out to me a little bit. So some of these numbers too, right? Nothing special. Nothing special. Nothing special. 2019, 2020 did really well. 2022, they did actually expect a loss with the whole tech sector, and they did. But last year, I mean, they posted a, again, a pretty substantial profit. 75 cents a share. Again, I'm just relating that relative to, let's just say 2017, that's pretty big. Pretty big difference. And then same thing. 2017 to 2023, if we're just talking about, like if we're comparing that to Pinterest. Right. I mean, I said Pinterest 5x these guys. What is that? 10? Yeah, it's 10x 10x revenue over the same period of time. Or let's say 2018. 20. 2023. 6x7x. Yeah, it's pretty, pretty substantial. And they've continued to put in big, big numbers. So going from 300 million to 7 billion in total revenue, expecting 8 and a half this year, and then 10 in 2025 and then 12. Like that's, that's a lot, I think. And again, the fact that the number keeps increasing over here for earnings per share on the year, I think is pretty big deal. So these are some of the ones I think are relatively unique. Now none of you are gonna be able to guess the next one, I don't think. But again, I was doing some, some research on Some numbers to see who, who stands out to me. And the next one is Paulo Alto, which again, this isn't essentially more or less just like cyber security. And I think that that's a, that's an industry that's going to be pretty important.
For a while.
Well, what stood out, what stood out to me on this one is probably the earnings per share and this one's putting in some big numbers. Right. So again, if we went back and looked at. So I'll just go back to look at, look at Shopify. So Shopify is still doing less than a dollar pretty significantly. Right. Since 2017. And then Palo Alto, since 2018 started doing a dollar and they've all, they went all the way up to $4 a share, which means that they either again, they're making good profit or they don't have that many shares and they don't have as many shares as Shopify. This is true because Shopify has already done a split. But what that tells me is that this company could be split worthy in the not too distant future. So I mean again, the earnings per share are pretty, pretty solid. So that's, that's what Shopify did, is Shopify did have a split. Right. Not that long ago.
2022. September 2022.
Yep, yep. So that's what, that's. That one tells me 2023, they did really, really strong earnings. Great numbers across the board. 7 billion from 5 and a half. And then again 2018 to now they've 3x total, the total size of the company. So forecast looks good. Numbers look good. But same instance too is if Shopify hits the numbers that they're, they're thinking that might hit. I mean that's, you know, 2026, they're thinking 12.3. Impala Alto, they're thinking 10. So Shopify saying they're going to make more revenue than Palo Alto, which is another reason why Shopify's on that list. I think it's a really, that'd be a big number to hit for those two, I feel like. So let's go look at some of those charts now and then, of course, if there's anyone that you want to look at, obviously just throw them in there. We can kind of go analyze them really. Just building out our watch list a little bit and, or some trades that are upcoming. There's anything specific that you're looking for, just, just let me know, but pop out of here. Okay. And this was a trade that I liked a lot on Palo Alto. P A N W.
I don't know.
If anybody took this one or not. I bet, I bet. Eric, Eric, did you take this trade? Yep.
I did really good last week in Palo Alto.
Nice, buddy. Beautiful. Yeah. So this is. Okay, good. Cool, cool, cool. Because I remember you sold it and then you got back in on earnings, right?
Yeah, I, I bought, I did. I bought some way back in February, March, something like that. And then I got out, I sold covered calls on it a few times and then I got out at 3:15 and then and earnings. So then I was all out of that position. Then I bought 500 shares again last week and it went up 5%. And then I sold 400 shares and I kept a hundred and that thing's just ripped since then.
So. Cool. Beautiful. Beautiful. Yeah, I love it. So if we're going back to February, we got the, the bullshit pattern which is a bull candle gapping down to a bull candle. So that again, this should be a strong level to hold. Unless of course it doesn't. Right. It doesn't have to. But if it doesn't, then we can be a little bit concerned on the downside. But we, we got the gap down again on good earnings. I'm happy they did gap down and we just really held that level strong. So two inside candles, one being bearish off the 100. Good push on Friday. Here's the weekly chart. So what's cool about the weekly chart is on the weekly time frame you had the two bear candles above the tin. Jeremy does the tiny work on the weekly chart too? Yep.
Be sure it does.
And it's free to look at the weekly chart. Yep. So yeah, yeah, it's true. You gotta have gotta be able to visually see. That's also a fact. Yeah. So you got the 10 EMA on the weekly there which we push last week and then we retested this week. So you can see that little retest there, which I mean that's a nice looking 10 a right, two. Two bear candles on the weekly chart and then the monthly time frame, you're just above all moving averages, so. Oh, that's right.
Shoot.
I forgot. Paul also did already have a split. They did. They did a three to one. That's right. So that those numbers are even crazier. Well, I wonder where they were before earnings. I forget. But they had to be really good for earnings per share. I forgot they had a split. That means they're gonna split again. Geez, I gotta keep diluting those shares down. Yeah, Char looks good. Char looks good. Now Shopify's chart doesn't look that good. Looks kind of like Lulu a little bit in the sense that it just has a strong gap and just kind of keeps getting pushed lower. But again, fundamentally, and Lulu is one that we can check out. I don't think a lot has changed. So this one, the hundred on the monthly is 54. I. I've got to buy some there. I just have to. Again, I know what Shopify is. I know how they work. I know how they make money. This is it. Looks like a pretty good support to me. One of the time frames I was looking at earlier was a log chart of this. And I looked at it on the monthly. This is kind of why I saw also 48 to 54 is going to be a good support range. I feel like made a nice little high and.
And.
And we could take out this low with a wick or something, but we really shouldn't close below it. So that's why I kind of feel like this is a pretty decent risk reward area if you buy some shares of Shopify. Because a closed blow here. And I'm gonna have to get into some puts, some protective puts because again, I guess we could come all the way back down to there. But big, big, big decline. But it wasn't too crazy, right? It was one of those where it was on the verge of crazy. But, you know, I guess if you go from the exact high to the exact lows. 86%, which is a lot, but obviously. Eric, do you remember when we talked about in January, what's that? What's the magical percent that you want to stay above?
Is it 87?
Yep. 8789. Like that's the. You really, really want to stay. Stay above that you can. So anyway, we did. We stayed above it on Shopify. And that's good. Feel like that's a nice thing. So good break, good trade down. And then from there again, there was some support. I don't think you would have caught the bottom. Let's just say 30. $30 back up to here is 200%. And then I kind of feel like this move down. If we go back up again. Just looking at. I love to always Compare things to 1920, You'll notice. So, like, here's the low to the high, 300%. Then we went from 300 down another 50%. And this low right here is where I think that I think our boy Shopify is trying to make. Right there is that new low right here, which we haven't gotten yet. So let's go look at back to shopify and see if there's a 50% decline. Well, 50% decline will look like. Okay, so we're here. 50%. Yep. Right below that level, 44 and some change. So I do think those are both possibilities on shop, but that's where most of leading should stop. Again, I'll get some puts down there just in case that's where. That's where it would make the most sense to me. Snagging some puts because you always want to have them. Insurance is good to have and not need. I've bought. There's been many times. I bought puts on stock and I bought puts at the exact low, like tons of times, but kept me in the trade, right? So I had. I spent money on insurance and now I still love the sock. So it started bouncing and then, you know, Nike's. Nike's an okay example of that. I bought some stock. Some. Some puts right at the exact low, at least so far. Now Nike earnings is coming up. This is one to watch also just from a random perspective because you have a really, really good, really tight triangle pattern brewing on Nike. So I don't know if that's going to be. I don't, I don't specifically know what direction that's going to break, but I can tell you this. The trend isn't bullish. So if it breaks, if it breaks, bearish. That actually would make the most sense. Again, really, really tight, tight trading range right there. Friday ends up with a doji. So just a random note again. I am in a put for June on Nike. And here's the weekly chart. So the weekly chart, we're below again most of the moving averages there. And then the monthly. You're right on top of the adjusted for dividend, 100 monthly tom. And you have an inside month. So Nike's getting ready for a good move like up or down. Do not know. Down would be fun because I don't. I'm not afraid of owning more Nike at all.
I have a question for you.
Yeah.
Why do you have a protective put and you're triangling in.
I just love to make money if it goes down. Dude, I'm just. I'm chicken, Eric. I'm a big chicken.
Yeah.
Your protective put's gonna take you out of your shares, but then you're gonna buy more if it goes lower.
No, no, I'm just going to sell this for a profit.
Oh, you. You bought that put?
Yeah. Correct.
I see you're not. You did.
You didn't.
Didn't sell it.
You're gonna sell it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're not using it to get out of your shares if it goes lower.
Correct.
Because you're not scared of owning Nike at 80 or anything. You're just going to load up when it gets down there.
That's right, my man. Load up.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, I'll do exactly on Nike what I did on Boeing. And no one, no one's talking about this one either. That's the thing that's interesting. No one's talking about how Nike is, is weak. But yeah, Nike at 60 is the most. I mean that's 28, 20, 19 bubbles, you know. Yeah, okay. What's Nike gonna do? Go to zero? Like so. Yeah, this will be fun, but. Yep, you're exactly right. Great question, my man. This is a put just to protect. If it goes lower, I will sell that put. You know, there's so much compression here. A good, a good lower move is possible.
Yeah.
You know, dividends is around the corner. Yeah, yeah, man. Okay. So then Pinterest we looked at and Pinterest, I got called away on Pinterest at 38. 38 effective cost was like 3825. I bought actually I got filled on the open of this candle. I was trying to buy off the 200. So I was profitable on Pinterest. And now it looks like we're having some type of weird looking double top. What a good covered call sale by Brad. I mean he nailed this one like 43. We hit 43 a couple times and never closed above it. So for Pinterest I'm out of that one. And if we go to a weekly chart, what's really fascinating is you've had a great, really, really good gap because it gapped on the monthly time frame too. So here's the monthly time frame and that just, that looks like a beautiful gap. So again, not really expecting anything too crazy to happen from here, but this is a gap that can fill. But I think 60 by the end of the year is, is possible, especially with good earnings. Pretty solid earnings here. And if they make a billion dollars in a quarter, that's the number I'm looking for. They almost got there in February and that's why they went down. I thought, I think if they hit a bill in February, they would have gone up. They did not. So that'll be the next big. They got two more earnings to come. If they can hit a billion, that's going to be a good, good move. Bullish. So for me on Pinterest I got a re Buy zone down in here and just kind of watching it right now. Don't have any position on it at this exact moment in time. But keeping a close eye on Pinterest. I love the snacks on back down here. And this is one that again, good gap gap on a monthly chart. Pretty rare to get that type of gap gapped over three. Was it three months? Yeah, three whole months. Didn't take out the high of three months, but took out the open of three bear months. So I mean that's a strong gap. So I'm also not gonna pretend that it has to go all the way back down there because it doesn't. So 40, 39, those general areas could be possible. Potential little double top here. We do have a 10 EMA on Pinterest. I'll day trade that. Bearish. I don't think I will swing trade it. So I'll day trade that today. Really Today, tomorrow if it gaps. That's probably about it. Most likely.
Yeah.
So Paulo Alto, Shopify Pinterest. Anything else that you beautiful people want to look at. Any earnings you want to glance over, Anything that stands out.
Roku.
Roku. So you got. You're getting filled. That's coming down that mid-50s for you. Yeah. Let's go check out Roku. See, see what they're posting. What is Roku doing? Wow. All over the place. Okay, so we got negatives, negative earnings per share revenue. We got a decline. Let's go look at annual. Okay. Overall annual revenue is still increasing. Quarter to quarter is kind of all over the place. But since 2017, they have increased total revenue, but they still can't really crank out a good profit. Let's go look at this. Annual earnings per share. Wow. $5 in 2023, they lost. So they're expecting to lose for another four or five years, which just tells me that this stock can continue to go down a little bit before it goes higher. Which just means that you might just be buying. So just buy slowly or don't expect anything too crazy. Huge to pop. Platform devices. They have a. I wonder if they have the platform broken down. When they say platform, what does that mean?
Is it like.
Is that like a monthly subscription?
Yeah, they. They do have. You can like. I'm sure they get out of it, but you can like buy your subscriptions through Roku. Like Netflix, Disney plus, yada yada. It manages all through Roku. I think they have. They have like Roku channels and I think they have a couple premium as well.
Gotcha. Got you, got you. Let me See if they have like know if they have that broken down. Annually. All right, let's go look at their earnings before interest and tax appreciation. Yeah, this one's going to keep being on the struggle bus for a little bit. So they made some earnings in 2021, but they were. They lost all of the. Everything that they made. They went back in the hole 2022 and then 2023. They lost a lot. So they. This one is in. In the hole again. Essentially. I was trying to see if they had it broken down where. I don't think they have it broken down from their services and their actual device. I think it's just interesting to see the difference platform and device. Because as platform is increasing because that's what they need, right? They need a lot more. But the devices have kind of like essentially almost halted. And so they're gonna have to figure this out. It's like those. Those numbers have stayed the same slash gone down from 2020. They need to figure out what to do with their device sales. And it's good that the platform is increasing, but if they get rid of this or if this doesn't make as much money, they're going to be even in worse shape. So all this tells me that if you're going to be buying Roku, just know that there's a good chance it can keep going down. So that's all good. Go down mean like it can go back down to 30, 40 and then from there we'll see anything's possible. Weekly chart. Nice little shooting star. Got the 10 EMA candle there. On the monthly, you just recently had a 10 EMA on the daily. For a good little day trade. That's what I would do, man, if I was used, I'd probably day trade Roku. See if you can capture some profits and whatever profits you make on day trading, that could be what you buy some shares with. This is a nice little candle here. So if we trade solids and pop back down, that'll be nice. But then at the same time, right, you're out of support and inside candle on Friday. So if we gap above here, trade it back up, try to capture that dollar a share or 20 cents a share, couple shares, whatever profits you make. Day trading, those could be the shares you buy some Roku shares with. But it looks like it'll be a while for this one recovers.
Thank you.
Yeah. Sometimes it's good to know the timeline, right? Yeah. All right. Nvidia just like they crushed it. And I think they're gonna probably keep crushing It. So earnings come out again or sorry, not earnings, a split. So they got their earnings per share dialed in and they, they made great revenue. People really liked it because. And again, I can't tell if it's photoshopped or not, but it looks like the CEO got the company's logo tattooed on, on his left arm. So people like that. That was, you know, I guess an allin moment. Really good gap. Great close on Friday. Right. So you close above that upper shadow. You did have a shave top. I mean within, within two pennies on. On Nvidia. Perfectly shaved top. So that means we'll get a little bit of a dip. But that dip should be viable and Yeah, I, I guess we can do. I can practice with doing some, some targeting. Obviously. We, we can see the wave three, wave four, wave five. You got that 1200 covered call Eric. You're just sitting back chilling on that one to making all your money.
That's right.
I.
That's what I have.
Amazing. All right, let me see.
My broker shows them the new price target around 1200 something now.
Wow, that's like that what the. The brokers are giving it.
Yeah.
Yeah, gotcha. All right. From a fib standpoint, 1.618. Yeah. 1209. 1209. 24. Yeah. I mean obviously after the split, right. That'll be 1200 doing a 10 to 1. It's crazy. So we'll keep, we'll keep pumping for a bit. I don't see a whole lot of reasons for Nvidia to stop the pump. Let me throw in some charts really.
Quick.
Into our group chat. But yeah, I mean, strong looking trends. 1209 is gonna be good level. What? When's that cover call? Did you count expire buddy?
June 21st.
Okay, cool it.
It may or may not make it there.
I mean, you're not gonna be sad if it does, right? Yeah, yeah. I mean, I mean that's 100. That's another $140 a year.
So.
Yeah, don't be too sad about that, man.
Right.
And Joe, any shares you have left, just keep them.
At this point I just got 10 shares, so let's all be able to do calls and stuff, so.
Perfect. Yeah, exactly. I think just at this, at this stage, probably just keep them.
Yeah.
Probably just keep them. Video targets. Okay. Yeah. Trying to think like of what, what the next. I mean really just the next pullback would be a relatively viable event. I feel like whatever. That whatever kind of slight little pullback we get in here on we get because again with that shave top candles. If we get one this week, I don't think we'd have to be too scared of it. 974 is that previous all time high? I don't think we, I don't think we retest that until end of June personally.
But you do think it'll absolutely retest that again at some point?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
Okay.
But do you think it'll ever go below that? Like if we retest that gap that. That's our stop. We're loading up our bullish stop.
I have to see how like how kind of how it acts post split. I mean because these numbers will get adjusted pretty heavy once the split rehab and once the split happens. We could go lower than that, man. I mean it wouldn't, it wouldn't be bearish like if we did something like this. Like that's, that's very possible, you know.
Okay.
Little deep pullback. I mean it would require probably a, a general total economic crisis slash new president or different president for it to pull back to 700. I mean because once it's 120, that'll be a 50 pullback. So like it's going to require something pretty big for that to occur, I think. Yeah, yeah. I think from a size perspective, 2025 is going to be the biggest we're going to get on Nvidia for a bit. I think this one probably corrects more in time than price. Very similar to over here. Right. It's like this retracement that we got here doesn't really seem like that much for us. And it wasn't really. You just had two or three big days of a pullback and that was that. So this will be the biggest. I mean that was 21. So that'd be the biggest that we get again I think for a little bit. And then we'll probably just kind of trade sideways and it'll give some good opportunities for some callers. Option sales that'll be. That'll be a fun part of Nvidia. But yeah, I don't think that any of that is really even worry worrisome until end of July. Okay. Yeah. So you and Joe just sit back, relax and enjoy your shares and let it keep pumping. Cool. All right, that's Nvidia Apple. I'm going to call her on Apple for July 20180 which is toasty. Love that little pullback we got here. Coinbase. I mean so far Coinbase is just like perfect wave count pullback. I mean this thing is gnarly. I am in some Coinbase positions, so I think this could, this could retrace again a little bit maybe. But I think we're going to gap up on this today because crypto's been up a little bit. So I think we gap up and again, I think the, the worst case on Coinbase, we gap up to here, we trade back down. Like we. 180 is worst case on Coinbase. But this is going to hit 300 by the end of the year, without question. And it's at 230 right now, so that's a big deal. I think you actually can, I can see a little bit of a double bottom in here too. So you got the double bottom, close of the neckline, retest of the neckline, instant push higher. That just looks really strong to me. Again, they absolutely smoked earnings. I mean this is a huge deal, just killing it. So we have that. The, the one that I think I, I still want to find a way to play with this one a little bit more is Reddit. I did a quick little glance versus we don't have a lot to look.
Through.
But this number, I, this is going to be a big, an interesting number to see how this starts to change. I just feel like the price it came out with, I, I actually feel like is almost kind of reasonable. And so I think if we, if this thing trades back down 30, just the size like, I feel like this could be a company now that it's public and people are really watching it and seeing what it's due. I feel like this one could get bought out. I don't know when it would necessarily, but I feel like that's possible. So the lower you can buy Reddit, the better. And this one does have a little bit of a Tennyma brewing right now inside candle 10 EMA. I don't, I don't know if I'll short it necessarily, but it's one of those things like if it trades down, I'll probably be excited to do something with it. If it trades lower, just down into system support. So Reddit definitely keeping a close eye on this one. Just gonna watch it, kind of see how it plays out, see what it does. Amazon, Google, I mean, I don't know what to do with those. They're just going to keep going up. That's my guess. I got some Google, probably not near enough, but you never have enough when it starts to really, really move. And again, this will have some, this has some big pullbacks, but the, I think the big pullbacks this Year will probably be like a 10 to 20% broader market pullback will probably be closer to September. October kind of like president right timing. And that one's going to be, that one's going to be a little bit of a crab fest I think again, not to try to make a political statement at all, but I think Trump wins the presidency again and markets like it only because they've liked it before now they liked Biden also. I just don't. If Biden got reelected I, I think the market would just keep going up too. So I, the markets are bullish. We do need another pullback. I think we'll get one. September, October like a bigger one and because really we, we didn't technically really retest the previous all time high yet. We did. We knew we would. So that little pullback right there in April which remember how scared a lot of people were Joe just a couple weeks ago they were like this is over. The world's over. Just with a couple little, a little bit of selling, a little bit of pullbacks. People get terrified.
It was a big candle.
Yeah, yeah it was, it was a scary, scary little week. Scary week if you were a week. But yeah. So we're back at all time highs now and yeah, I think that's ultimately like we, we might, we could even almost get close to 500 by the end of the year on the cues. But I do, I don't think we get there. I don't think we hit there this year. I think we get into the 484.90 at time frame at some point. Some extension. A lot of good push here.
Yeah.
The next pullback I do think probably September, October and that'll be the, the one that's a little bit bigger. It's like 480 down like 400, something like that. 14, 15, maybe 20 max. But. And then a president comes in and saves us somewhere back to the races and I think that's whoever honestly I don't think that even matters who gets elected. I think we'll keep going up but I feel like if Trump does get reelected then he'll obviously take credit for it and we'll be back off without that'll be best case scenario. That's what we can all hope for if we don't get that and we just keep going higher. I'm actually a little, I'm actually a little scared because I don't know if you guys have been shopping lately but like a salad, a steak and a beer is like $48 after a tip, you know, and it's like, I don't know who the heck is buying everything. So it's, you know, from an economy standpoint, I really don't feel like we're that strong. Were this strong. Like, this strong.
Isn't it also true the longer you go up and the farther you go up, the bigger the pullback? Right. Because it's not consolidation. It's not building strength. Building strength. You're, like, out of the zone, and then you just rip back down.
Yeah, dude, that's exactly right.
Do you go all cash? You get. You liquidate when you're sensing that everything.
Yeah, I will. I have before and I will again.
And then how. What are our signals for that besides watching the afternoon swing trading room? Like, you signal that. Do you, like, hey, if this happens, I'll probably go all cash. So we won't be like the Lone Ranger out there not knowing what's happening.
I mean, I can tell you now, if we hit 500 on the queues before. Before any type of actual pullback, I'll go all cash.
And then would you just day trade?
Yeah, yeah, just day trade. And then just set up some orders and wait. Wait a couple months because you're always early. I'll wait a little while and then just start, set some limit orders and try to buy some things on some dips. Yeah, I'll day trade. Absolutely.
Yeah.
You still got to try and make money, even though, you know, you're having this weird pullback.
But yeah, I mean, bear trades. I love bear trades, man. They're so fun. Bear markets. A little bit of pullback markets. Those are awesome today trade. Those are a blast thing. And I have no problems being nice and heavy in cash. I'm not even. I'm not gonna buy treasury bonds. I'm not gonna do any of that. I'm just gonna sit in cash and let pundits tell me that my dollars are decreasing in value. They're like inflation's eating your dollar away kind of thing. I'll just. I'll just sit in cash and just chill. Yeah. For a little while. You know, couple, two, three months and just let it. Let it kind of shake out. And I'll just be day trading while that happens. Make, you know, whatever, 3, 4%. But ultimately, man, yeah, we have 500 by the end of the year, without any actual pullback, I'll be in all cash. I don't. I don't think that's going to happen, but good. And the ironic part is, again, if I go back and look at it. And again, this is just, just me talking. But we, we did have. And it was a good pullback from a numerical standpoint. 2023, like that, it was nice. And there was a lot of companies that went bankrupt and some, a lot of companies went to zero. But I mean, we haven't had anything legit since that. So the thing is like, this is all we need for us to continue to keep pushing for a while. But you are correct. Like, you can't have this without just some consolidation. Like, I would love a good eight, nine months of just sideways, up, down, up, down, up, down. Nothing really gets accomplished. Kind of like 2015 to 2016. But yeah, just zooming out, man. Looking at this like, this was, this was covet, you know, which is crazy. You can't even tell. It's just a lower shadow. And back off to the races. So, yeah, man, my big prediction has always been 2028 to 2030. Somewhere in there is the big one, you know, the 100 year cycle. To really answer your question, I think the time when people do it, Eric, the signs be looking for is when your neighbor or the person you don't really like that much starts talking to you about the stock market and they invite you over. They're like, dude, you need to come over and look at this. Like, I think I figured something out. And you can be like, how do you, how do you know all this? I'm like, I just been teaching myself. And you're gonna look at the charts and everything's gonna be the highest price it's ever been and you're gonna get an Uber. And the Uber drivers are like, hey, man, did you buy any Apple? When your Uber driver, this is me telling me, listen, this is going to be worth the whole class when your Uber driver buys Uber stock. Get out. I. Every Uber driver I've talked to has never bought the stock. They're always like, this is a scam company. It's a scam. It's the worst. This is communism at its finest. I literally have heard that like six or seven times. I'm sitting back there like, why are you working for them?
Really?
Why? Why are you working for a communist, man? Like, they're paying me, okay, whatever. But if I get an Uber driver, that's like, have you bought, have you seen Uber stock? Especially if they volunteer it, that's when you're gonna know, my man, that's what you're gonna know. And speaking of Uber, this, I mean they, they got added to the S and p wow. And. And again, this is. I'm not going to pick on Uber drivers as like a whole, but the, the individual mentality, and I see it very, very often where the crash needs to come from. Euphoria. Right. Everyone's excited, everyone's making money. People are getting it on leverage. Right. They're getting a HELOC and they're buying stock. Everyone's talking about. Everyone's a genius. When, when, when people that have never asked you about trading. Eric. Ask you for money to trade, those are gonna be some really great signals.
Because then, you know, there's all kinds of dumb money in the market.
Yeah.
And it's overbought because they're buying all at all time. Highs.
Yep.
And then when it pulls back a little bit, everybody freaks out and over sells, bro.
Like April, man. I mean, people literally were losing their mind in April. I'm like, this is we. I told you in January we need a 10 pullback. Here it is, like, you guys are worried. Like, what are you doing, Tom? We're pulling back to the hundred on the daily. Like, this is.
We've never lived one of those cycles before or lived through that emotion. So that's why I asked you like, 10 times, what do we do during the 10 pullback? And you're, you're like, you're not even liquidating your positions. You're like, hey, we're going to be back in three weeks. I don't really care. I'm buying more. And. And we're all, like, in the red. We open our trade accounts and the whole thing's red. There's one green on there and everything else is red. We've not lived through that, but now we did. Right?
So. Yep. You guys got one, you got one in your one under your belt.
That builds. That builds, you know, both character and muscle.
So character, muscle, holding, awareness, understanding. Yeah. Of just like, what's, what's happening, what's available, what's possible. Yeah, ma'. Am. All the things. So since we're talking about Uber, I, I do again, this is, this got added to the S P. Like, that's, that's a big deal that I don't want to really, like, want to undercut. And I don't. I think, I think that's a pretty, pretty magnificent piece. So my, my thinking is pull back to 50. I. I could get some Uber the. Again, going back to Uber drivers. What's unfortunate is a lot of them, when they first started, they got like $500 bonus cash, and they were told to buy Uber stock with it. Because every time I'm an Uber, I ask him about Uber stock because again, this is, this is my barometer for the economy. And no one bought Uber stock with it. And then one guy was like, man, like, this such a scam artist. Like, they want me to buy Uber stock, and they told me to just stick it in there and it would double. And when it came out at 40 and went down to 20, I'm sure glad I didn't buy any of my $500 worth. And I'm like, what would you spend? You know, my mind, I'm like, what'd you spend your 500 on, dude? Like, it's, it's gone. And then, yeah, if you would have bought Uber stock and it would have went down 50%, sure. Right. You would have lost 50 of your 500 bucks on paper. But a lot of people's mentality is like, they put a little bit of money into the market, they shove it in the market, and that's what makes them a bunch of money. I see that mentality all the time. And so I would love, as we continue, just to talk to people and meet people, guys, we got to keep telling them, like, listen, put your. Keep putting it in continuously. That's how, that's how this wealth gain is built. It's like if you put 500 bucks in every two months into Uber, they would crushed it.
Right?
That same Uber driver would be, would be feeling really good right now because they would have bought some down here at 23. And I went up to 78.
Right.
It's a 250 increase on that money. So go on the daily chart because this is having a really good pullback right now. And this, this is actually one to watch with this little earning spike. Let's go on their earnings really quick. 30,000 employees. I don't think they're counting. I don't think they count drivers as employees.
I don't think so either because in Massachusetts, they have this annoying commercial that runs that's trying to force Uber to make driver's employees, but nobody wants it to happen, so they're just considered contractors.
Yeah, that's, that's, that's the one thing. It's, there's too many, it's too many employees. I think for Uber, it's a software company, you know, it's like, we need 3,000. Like, what are you doing again? I've told you guys this before, but if you ever want to really, really study people, right, just pull up the CEO, type in that person's. Name, watch some videos on YouTube. The one thing that we, a lot of people miss on Uber, this just my opinion is the fact that they are international. I mean Uber works. You go to Australia, Dubai, Ireland, France, California. I mean that's, that's a big deal. And the company's now like it's a verb in the English language. 134 billion dollar market cap. And if I go to the annual again, I think it's a little bit pricey, but so 2019, 2012, they're just lighting money on fire. But last year they hit a positive and look at their revenues. I mean that's a big deal. So we got 126% increase of earnings per share from an estimate last year. So I mean my thought is they decrease a little bit of their employee costs and they keep figuring out how to work on these international markets. We Uber eats, I still think is doing quite well. Income statement, cost of goods sold stand pretty steady. Operating expenses stand steady, which is good. So cost of goods sold and operating expenses, there's saying about the same. Non operating income to annual. Gosh, they're just lighting money on fire. Just how do you go from making 4 billion to losing 2 to making 2 to losing 8? They lost 8 billion of net operating income in 2022. Good Lord. Yeah, probably if they had like a breakdown of anything specific. Not really. Revenue is increasing though, guys. I mean that's the. I, I always love to see that you look at earnings before taxes. Awful, awful. They just, I, they are just turning a corner. So I guess they figured it out because everybody, you guys probably remember that, right? Them saying people are like saying, oh, Uber is not making any money. This is a very, very interesting gap. The support. Right? You got the gap up. The last earnings. No, this is not earnings gap. Okay, that makes it even. I'm glad it's selling off. That's a really, really good breakdown. A high quality short right there, especially that shooting star. So gap down. Yeah, we're going to go a little bit lower on Uber and I think I'd buy it around 50, I think is where I would start feeling comfortable with it. Yeah, 50 to 45. I mean 50 I'll buy for sure. And then if it gets to 45, I'll buy some more. But I use Uber got added to the s and P500. That's the thing, right, Fam is like what we got to do is just, just go look through those companies again. Companies that we know like use and understand. Don't overthink about it. The exact same amount of research I'm just doing there. Look at, see what you're looking at, analyze what you're looking at, see what you like and then just reposition yourself to, to kind of figure out where to buy it. Because there's always gonna be cycles where the companies that we like, there's gonna be some that are down, there's me, some that are up and the ones that are down figure out how to like start getting into them. Adobe is another one right now. It's at a really unique spot. It's in between the weekly 100 and 200. So Adobe is at 600 right now. It's going to be at 450. You know, I mean it was at 280 in 2022. But it's a company that's not going to go away. So you can figure out how you start playing Adobe Estee Lauder. I've mentioned this one a few times. It's going to go lower but ultimately we'll go higher and then yeah, we can definitely keep our eyes on Lulu. So this is the one that hasn't had earnings yet. Those are in June. This was a wave three, wave four, wave five. I mean really, really, really easy to time that. I am glad that we got out of our bull put spread though because that would have sucked. So that was, that was good timing. I'm just, I'm still sad that there was no bear call spread money and I feel really stupid I didn't buy a bunch of puts or short some shares or something. Anyway, yeah, really nice drop here. I bought 10 more shares at 300 even. So again, if you're buying anything, make sure you buy nice and slow. And that's because anytime we take out the weekly 200 it's never a generally good sign. Right. That weekly 200 is always a really, really big catalyst. So again, I'm in some shares of Lulu. I'm with you, Joe. I'm definitely spend some time on the next earnings, right. If, if you haven't ever listened to an earnings call, Lulu will probably be the one to listen to because they're going to go through and they're going to talk about why they're down and what they're going to do and what I'm, what I'm trying to listen for is acquisitions. I want to see if they're starting to buy some of these other companies, Vori and a few of the other competitors. But yeah, 235, it is possible. You know this like 250 to 235 zone. But that'll be, again, a. A spot to really, really kind of analyze how hard you want to go in. Because 100 on the monthly, the absolute bottom of May 2017, that be a really, really good support. That's the May 2022 lows again. @ that point, the whole store. The whole Lulu store is 55% off. You'll go into Lulu Store, and you'll see that they're not running that sale. People are still buying.
It.
So, yeah, yeah, this is the next big one. Next big earnings to really watch out for will be.
Lulu.
That.
That. Is that why people aren't spending $48 for steak and a salad? Because they're shopping at.
Lulu? I don't know where all the. I don't know where all the money in the economy is coming in from, dude. That's the.
Thing. How much manipulation do you think happens? And I know we start to go down, like, all kinds of paths with that question, but I. I always. I've been asking the same question. Like, it just keeps going up. But you go talk to anybody on the street, and they're like, this sucks. With inflation and all this other stuff, everybody's feeling it. So I'm like, how much manipulation do you think.
Happens? You know, that's a good question, man. I. And there's definitely a component. There's. There's absolutely component. Always the big question is, like, how. How much manipulation and who's manipulating? I mean, Elon Musk has said a few times that the world's controlled by like, 20 families, you know? Yep. And I mean, if he says it like, it's true, you know, like, who's gonna know better than him about who's controlling the world? I mean, he's the top 10 wealthiest people in the world. He's like, yeah, I'm not even. Like, there's other people doing it. I've also seen him move markets. Right. Simultaneously. That's just him. So the other thing is, like, how many other people are they doing? It's like the head of the head of Disney. The head head. Like, not. Not the CEO, like the owner. Like, the Disney family. People like that. It's like they. They have an agenda. And you have all the people on all of YouTube, like, every single YouTube creator is probably owned by some Disney media company. And they're, you know, they're on YouTube's platform, but YouTube's platform has an agenda. And so those. Those people getting together, talking about, hey, what should we tell people? I Think there's definitely components of that, man. And then I also think that there is depending on just how large the your glasses are of the world. There's just so many wealthy people out there that still have money, that still have cash, and they're just not getting out because life is comfortable, you know. And so the thing is, even though things are becoming a lot more expensive, there's a lot of wealth that is still being generated and people can still afford it. That's the problem is there's still a lot of people. Like that top 1%, the top 2% is a big number. It's a lot of people. And even, even just the U.S. and so the problem, the problem is from a manipulation standpoint, my big question is there's someone out there specifically trying to destroy the middle class so that it's just really rich people are really poor people and are they doing it intentionally? And I'm sure the answer is yes. I just don't know who it is. And even if I did know who it is, I don't know what I'll be doing about.
It.
Right. So yeah, man, it can definitely cause some anxiety at some point. You start thinking about it, start thinking too deep, you.
Know.
Right. Yeah, I'm sure, I'm sure there's definitely some level of manipulation. There's also a lot of level of ignorance and just people are participating in things and they're not really stressed out about it because they don't have to be. There's no reason to be. Yeah, man, good question, dude. Anything else, Joe? Anything else, Eric? Anything you beautiful people are looking at or analyzing or planning or.
Scheming. We asked in the WhatsApp about ENPH and ALD. So is there anything up with those.
Ones? No. Enphase looks really nice actually. I, I love this chart. Volume came out good volume. You know, they lost on earnings, but we've, but we've already recovered all that loss and we're closing above it. Got a. You got two good hammers daily and weekly. You got this like pennant pattern brewing. Oh, it just looks great actually. Bounce off the hundred on the monthly inside month. So it's just like a lot of pressures built it so I, I could see this one be back at 170 by late August. Yeah, Enphase looks nice. And I think you just, I think you win the gold medal on alb. You, you've out. You outsold me on the COVID calls on this one. Like you, your timing has just been impeccable. So you got the one white soldier off of the 100. I'm gonna wait for it to come up to 136 again and probably just sell another one. And they win the.
Dividend.
Yeah. Dividends come out and just reinvesting the dividends. So they've bought me two more shares. Yay. So again, not. Not a large position by any means, but it's one that I. I mean, I agree with Dan. Like, I know it's going to go back up at some point and everyone's getting bored of it. Right. But like, that's. That's what. When you buy a good company at low prices, very, very, very often that's what happens. It's boring for a long time. And if you're not doing anything exciting with it, that's okay. But it's like there's still enough where you can be a little excited selling some cover calls and buying some protective puts or if you see an opportunity to do so, then collecting some dividends. And we've gotten two dividends. So anyway. No, both those look nice. Both those look nice. Carvana. I know it's been a big winner for us. I'm fully out of this one. I've been out since over here. We hit the. We hit my ultimate target. So I have no idea what it's going to do from here. Tuner on the weekly was it. And I've been planning the tuner on the weekly since December. So this was just a scorcher. I. I would like to think this gap was going to fill. That's a. This is a nice, nice, not perfect inside candle, but your bearish, wicked pair candle pattern right there. Good gap breakdown. I mean, that one could be something. Something bearish. Slightly bearish. Something to consider at least. I feel like. Bitcoin. What's bitcoin gonna do.
Jeremy? Big George, it's gonna go a hundred.
Thousand. When? I need to know exactly the.
Day. August.
27Th. August 27th this year. Okay. Big Yurm is.
Bullish. I hope I.
Have. Well, if it doesn't, you gotta dye your.
Hair. Oh.
God. August 27th. 100k. All right. I could. I could deal with that. That makes sense. I could see it. Like, one more interaction with that 100 would be just brilliant. One more pullback to 65 would be all we.
Need. Everybody seems to be cooling off about the big pullback because I was watching X and different stuff and people were freaking out. And then once it. Once it gets back. I think once it gets back up into like 70, 000 again, all the people with weak hands that sold are gonna dive back in and, and drive it.
Up. You got some bitty. You got some bit.
Exposure. I do.
Yes.
Good. Becky buying.
More. Good. That's what I like to.
Hear.
Yeah. Pressure is building on it, man. I mean, you know the weekly chart, it's a, It's a pretty week. You got the, the 20 just curved up in here. I think we have another inside week this week on bitcoin and then. Yeah, the thing is, Ethereum is right now. Is.
The.
Is. Is Mr. Pumpy because of the. I. This is the. I did not expect this to happen this quick. I bought a decent amount. 3,000. I'm just going to sell it four. What's.
That? I said I bought more. Would have dipped under 3,000.
Too. Yeah, good buddy. I'm G. Sell it at 4 for 30% return. So we're going to be having a lot of fun with these charts in June. Forex futures, crypto, we're gonna be trading them. Well, for those of you, you know, we'll have a few new people join us for June, but for those you know who know how to trade it, great. If you don't, I'm sure you'll. You'll be getting some experience. I trade futures and then, and then crypto and then Forex. I've never, I've taken three, four trades in my life. But I know Jason, Jason Chase loves Forex and crypto and again, I just like it because it moves like stock. So it's just all the, all the numbers are the same, but it sure can move, man. Get a good, get a good timing and a good purchase price. But I'm excited, gentlemen and lady. It's gonna be good. Good year. I'm excited. We're gonna keep the WhatsApp open just for all the people who are, who who finish up so that we can all celebrate Joe when she retires this year. October or.
November.
Joe aiming for November. Okay, 100% yet, but you better make it 100%. Still deciding on some options that are expiring and that sort of thing.
So. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I hear.
You. Our options at best and stuff at work.
So. Yeah, yep. Very, very cool. Well, family, keep me posted if you need anything. Keep crushing life. I'll see you on Thursday. If there's any trades between now and then that you make or if anything you have questions on, of course, as you always know, just post in the chart. Happy to review, happy to answer, happy to look at. I'm still trading same things that you are. Still hanging out with all of you. Eric, what you.
Got? I got a quick question about day trading and this is a day trading question. How can I. What's the next step for me to like learn and dive deeper with day trading. Like to get a little bit more ninja skills on it, you know, I know kind of what it is and how to do it and had some success. But how do you like really, really get neck to the next level? What should be my next.
Step? Do you hang out with Dan at all in the day trading.
Room? A little bit, yeah. And I see his posts on Slack and.
Stuff. Yeah, I would say hang out with Dan, do some, do some day trades with Dan. I mean next ninja skill obviously would be if you, if you ever. The next day trade mentorship that comes up, you know, hang out with Johnny or Dan. Feel free to go through some of the stuff with them. Other perspectives other than just mine is always useful, I think for other people. Just so you can see how they took what I taught them and then blended into something else would probably, probably be pretty.
Cool.
Yep. But you tell me, man. I mean, I think the, the best, best thing is study gaps and start playing with gaps on other stocks. Do some scans and just kind of try to find some imbalances where you're like, wow, man, if this thing opens here, run, start getting in it. Start really playing 2 minute charts and 3 minute charts and just getting in and getting out pretty quickly. Which I know you've already kind of been practicing, but really for you it's probably just keep doing what you're doing, keep making money and keep stacking.
Cash. You've been killing.
It. Yeah, you're doing great, man. So just there's not a whole lot else that you have to do. Do you want to come out to California, man? Me and you can have a couple days where we just day trade together. You'll very quickly come to find out. I don't do anything super fancy. I really don't like. I'm just analyzing the daily chart and weekly chart, moving averages and seeing where there's the most amount of space. Right. And if I get a good gap, I'm gonna watch it. And then I play generally like it's. It really is not ultimately that.
Cool. That's good, right? Like, you know, just being.
Cool. Just effective.
Right? Yeah, precisely. That's the truth. Eric is like really from a risk standpoint, it's just like, all right, dialing in the risk again. Another, another good answer is focus on one thing for like all of June and July. I say one thing. Like, if you're day trading, like, okay, it can be one stock. That's fine. But even more particular, Tom, I'm only going to trade bearish, and I'm only going to trade it on this stock. Or I'm only going to trade it bearish, and I'm only going to trade this strategy there. So call it a bear S curve or call it a bear gap and go. Like, I'm only going to day trade bearish gap and goes. Or I'm only going to trade fades. Those are the next. That's the next evolution of. Of. Of work is just getting crazy dialed in on just one thing when you're day trading. And that one thing can be one stock. Usually. Usually it's one strategy where it's like, all right, I'm going to look for gaps that are hitting this moving average. It's a retest gap. I'm looking to fade them. Okay, gap ups. I'mma fade them with, like, a double top or some type of, like, short out of resistance. Okay, cool. Yeah, you're gonna have a blast.
Dude. I am having a.
Blast. You're gonna have so much fun. Keep crushing life. Keep crushing life. All right, family. Well, just let me know if you need anything else. I'm always here for you. And let's just. Let's go. Have a good party. You.
