Ultra Wealth Review , charts and discussion on March 21st, 2024

Live trading/education session led by Jerremy Newsome with group members (Garrett, Eric, Sue, Brian, Joe, others). The meeting reviews Elliott Wave counts, intraday and weekly chart setups, member-submitted trades (Tesla, IIPR, PayPal, Chipotle, GPN/Global Payments, Nvidia, Walmart, etc.), practical order/option tactics, and planning for April options training. Emphasis is on study, trade execution rules (limit/extended-hours orders, pyramiding, option sale thresholds), and watchlist/coordination practices.

So here's the really great news. From a trading and, like, education and Elliott Wave perspective, we're pretty much done, right? There's not a whole massive lot to add. Right. We talked about corrections. We talked about intraday wave counts. We talked about, really the rules and just framing everything next week. And also today, we're happy to review any other materials and questions that you have about Elliott Wave or, you know, obviously anything we've learned previously. But as we did in January, the next month, next week is just study week. Nothing new. Show your trades, ask questions. Let me help you make a lot of money. Let me help you learn better, grow better, whatever. And then April, we all know what happens in April. April is gonna be bomb dot com. And we'll probably have three or four people join us for April. If I had to guess, because people love options, I think it's the coolest thing ever. And it is. They would be right. They would not be wrong. It is super, super amazing. Okay, so first off, I get. I know you don't want me to, Garrett, but I gotta show everyone. Guys, I gotta show you Garrett's trade on Tesla over here. Dude, look at this wave count my boy did.
Yeah, but you're right.
30 minute chart, right? Kind of spent a little bit of time on it. Notice there was a really big move here. And I. I'll tell you the notes that I told him, but he was kind of planning on a little bit of a retracement based on just this drawing and based on his interpretation of what happened. And he was. Slash is correct. And we all know Tesla's primarily in the downtrend right now anyway, so finding moves that you can help either reduce your losses or make a little bit of money on the downside is very useful. Now, the notes that I told him on this particular wave count, what you'll notice is I thought that this right here was a one, that would be a two, that would be a three. This consolidation, like, chunky, weird move, would be some type of four. And, you know, including this little dip right there and then you have a wave 5. It's the same exact sentiment. I was just from a nomenclature standpoint, right? Three has to go higher than one and five has to go higher than three. Right? That's. Yeah, that's basically.
I think I changed it to the. I changed it to that first of the double bottoms being number one.
Yep.
Okay.
My account worked a lot better. Like.
Oh, nice. Okay, so one, there.
One, two, three, four. Yeah.
Oh, yeah, Nice.
That worked a lot better. When I looked at it from that perspective, because that left. Yeah, that left bottom is lower.
Thank you for showing that. That. That makes a lot of sense.
Yeah.
Because it's Gap's. But. But again, the cool part is all three ways essentially come up with a little bit of the same sentiment. You have this overhead resistance here, and the sentiment is look for. Look for some type of bear exposure a little bit. And he did and was able to capture a win on the downside. So great job, G. So I'm talking.
So what was cool to me, guys, was that I was reviewing because I'm. I'm behind all of y'.
All.
So I've been watching your videos from when you started, and I. I just finished yesterday with the reversal videos, and that reversal pattern just is exactly what the. All the other reversal patterns look like. Even though this is 30 minutes, it was just uncanny. Like, obvious once. Once I had just done that video. So.
Yeah, that's my.
Pretty cool. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
Yep.
And if you turn the. The extended hours on, too, you can see, because I like to switch back and forth, but you'll see that's a nice little double top here. You guys remember double tops all the way from back in January, so. Nice little double top there. If you turn the extended hours off, you can kind of see the what. What Garrett was looking at there. And again, nice. Just. Hey, I wonder what. I wonder what this move is, right? I. I wonder. It's like, that's a big gap. Oh, could this be a 1, 2, 3? And this is a 4, and that's a 5. And we have a little bit of an ABC correction. Whoa. Right? And you. You blend all that together and it just. It syncs up. It really does.
And.
But again, as. As we're talking about it, I'm never going to make this go away. That's all your perspective. It's all about your perception. You can draw it. As long as the rules fit and everything makes sense. You might be totally wrong and still make money.
That's cool.
You might be totally right and make money. That's even better. But at the end of the day, all trading stems from you coming up with something that you spend some time on implementing that thing that you just studied and then leaving it alone for a period of time.
That's.
That's how you're going to make the most amount of money. Like, that's the formula. That's it. You gotta plan, study, and then implement and leave it alone at some stage. And. Yeah. So anyway, great. Great count, my man. Let's go look at a few other accounts that were posted in Ultra Wealth. Oh well actually before I move on, I'm in iipr. This is one that we, that Garrett gave us the first day he got here. I got triggered in today on the breakout. So I am in on Innovative Industrial. It didn't come down to 90 or 93 which is fine, but this little pop out, I, I still love this weekly chart. So the Weekly is actually a 10 EMA on the weekly with an inside upper shadow candle. So we'll see, we'll see what IIPR does. But I'm in. And again, I'm always okay if you lose. That's beside the point. I just want, I want to take good trades where everything makes sense. So just kind of go through a few others right here. Okay. No 2 dx. So you got, you got a Mr. Squiggles on here thinking it's going to pull back.
That was my perception. So I'm hoping that I'm right since I didn't get in. I didn't get my order set up. So I'm hoping. You're not going to tell me to do 500 push ups. I could maybe take some cold showers or something.
No, we'll see that. I will make you do something if it just does this. This goes right to your target.
So I'm hoping it doesn't. Right.
I love it. But hey, good. Still good find though, right? Using, using some of the information that.
Yeah, using that short float scan is super nifty.
Super super nifty. And, and having that as a, as a component. Anyway. Yeah. Like it, like I like it. Okay, again, just kind of going through any of the charts that you're posting. Okay, so Joe, we got John Alonzo. Let's look at these two trades that he posted. National SIN Media. So you'll notice that John just does a bunch of studying, posts a really good chart and then just disappears for a couple days. That's all right. Ncmi. So this is one that I do think that we should slash. Certainly can keep our eyes on National SIN Media. You had the inside candle, bunch of bear volume. Let's just go through the, the origami roll really quick. So long terms, there's your daily 100 and 200. So we're below there. Here's the weekly chart and we just got to get above that little booger and once we can start breaking above that, this could be a really, really fun little trade. So I'll put that on the, on the Future list, we can certainly keep an eye on it just to see what it does. But again, once it breaks above there, or if it breaks above there, that could be super nifty. So N C M I I was telling someone this, and they really liked the thought of this idea. So I might as well tell you all. If you at any point in time, want to come over here and take a screenshot, like a link of your chart. So you can come over here, put a link, do a copy link, and then you can put that link in a calendar reminder. And you can put a calendar reminder, hey, look at this chart, you dodo bird. That's what I say to myself. And so, yeah, so you can set a reminder. So if you're ever like, oh, I should look at this trade setup, or I should look at this stock in the future, feel free to do that. You know, use. Use technology to your advantage. Anyway, so that's why I build watch list based on the day. Because every day that ends in y, I go in and look at and we'll set the trade up for. So the trade up, put a reminder and then go back and look at it. But, you know, if it's Monday or Tuesday or whatever, I can scroll through whatever day it is and I'll have a list of tickers that I want to look at. So just something to think through or keep in. Keep in the back of mine. All right. And then the other one that John was posting was topgolf. Callaway Brands Incorporated. Wow. I didn't know that topgolf rebranded. So this used to be Eli, like Elliot Ly, which was just Callaway Golf. So now it's Top Golf. Top golf. Wow. ModG they rebranded and everything. That's super fascinating. Thanks, John. I love learning about new stocks. Has anyone been to a topgolf before, AKA a money printer? Jeff's been, dude, you guys gotta buy one of those. Like, they just rent cash now. This is also Callaway Golf. So it's both. And Callaway Golf bought 30% of Topgolf and they decided to rebrand, apparently because Topgolf is making more money than Callaway is. But yeah, anyway, very interesting spot off the 200. This will just be one. Like, if I was a huge golf enthusiast, I'd probably be buying down here if I really, really love golf, which is hard to love something that you're just awful at. It's tough. Okay, Clone. Garrett, you ever doing any deals on the golf course?
No, I don't usually. No. I like to ride around the car and drink beer, but. And I can hit the ball, but it's not like a passionate pastime of mine.
Same, same, same, same. You know, this is a cool one because it looks like there could be. And again, when we get into option sales and we'll start learning about options, I mean, you'll find more opportunities and you have money even more than potentially now. So I would like to probably sell a put down here. It would be kind of a nifty spot to get in. You can see how we're interacting with the 200. This would be one. Again, if I did love golf or I went to topgolf a lot or whatever, I'd probably just throw some capital at it, something like this, just to own it and let it trade back up into 18. So 18 is the 100 on the monthly and the 200 on the weekly. So look up one of those buy low, sell high type of arrangements. But anyway, again, another cool one to watch. I'll put on the list for Monday. Thanks, John. It's always good to remind myself of what's publicly traded and what's not. All right.
And then again, can you look at the weekly for PayPal and tell me if you think that is interesting or not?
It is. It is interesting. So PayPal, I. I got into a strangle, which is an option strategy, buying out of the money calls and buying out of my puts. And. And here's why. So this thing. And this is a. It's a double bottom. So it looks beautiful. It does. I don't think PayPal is going away is really.
So either looks cheap. So I don't understand. I mean, super cheap.
Yeah. Look super cheap. It's got a. It's got to fight the 100, but I think that's where it's going. Garrett 72.
I was looking at it on a weekly chart and it just popped its head over the 50 on a weekly chart. Like.
In a.
In a pretty obvious way. It was.
Yep. And earnings. Earnings was pretty good. So they. They just had earnings. Earnings weren't bad. I mean, again, I think this is going to slowly start to recover. Personally. Yeah, man, I do. I like it. It looks like a.
A decent setup. You think?
Huh? It does. Because also just talking about general. Right. Fundamentals and how much we like companies and all that stuff, plus a nice little blend of some of the analysis that we've been practicing. Jeff, Scott, you guys can see this. Look at that bad boy. You have tons of bare volume. And then what happens? Sue, right here.
I can't see that very well. I have, like, a major headache.
Oh, no worries.
Closed above the next day.
It closed above the next day. So, Eric, what does that mean for all those traders in that red volume bar?
They're trapped. And they got to buy the COVID So it's going up.
Do they have to? That's the only way bear traders can get out of a position.
Well, they can be the bag holders for 12 years. That's it.
They got to buy at some point. So you can buy at some point. Yeah, you can buy a call option, and then, you know, it can go up. But you still got to buy. Someone has to buy the stock somewhere. So if you get a bunch of squeeze bears, like in this situation, you can see how beautiful that level acted as a support resistance for a few days or a few weeks. What a great spot to kind of pick up some PayPal. And again, from 58 into 67, this is a big company. And Eric, you might remember us doing a lot of analysis when you're here in my house on PayPal. Right? Like, this is one where it's. It's. I would be kind of blown away if this thing started going below 50. I mean, it's a real company, owns Venmo. It has so much financial Data. It has PayPal and Venmo. I mean, they have credit, they have online processing, they have checkouts, all kinds of things.
So, yeah, price stock for 6,600 bucks. You can have 100 shares and do options on it.
So, yeah, all true statements.
Do they have cash app, too? I'm trying to remember.
That's. I think. I think that's Square.
Oh, yeah, that probably is.
I think that's square. Yeah. I think Square bought cash app weeks ago.
When you look at their fundamentals, it looks good or.
Yeah, PayPal.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Exactly. That's what I'm saying. The revenues. Their revenues are increasing. Their sales are increasing, their profits are increasing, Their debt is decreasing.
Like, wow.
All the things you would have looking.
At it at like 2 or $300 a share on the other, like, not too far back, right?
I know, man. Crazy.
That drop was steep.
Steep and fast. A lot. So. So square, right? Square is another one. I mean, it's. It's down here as well. And it's starting to form an invert head and shoulders pattern. Speaking of payments, since we're talking about PayPal and Square, I will get. I will talk about a stock that I didn't know was publicly traded until recently that I'm gonna do a little bit more Research on. But this, this company will go higher. This isn't insider information, but I did talk to somebody that's relatively high up in the company just to learn a little bit about what the company does. And I was kind of blown away. Possible invert head and shoulders on square 100 on the monthly is what's holding this thing down right now on the monthly. So once we can start getting above there. So let me hide all my drawings here for a second. And there we go. And just like Eric is thinking, like, you don't have to be in all of this to be in some of this, right? You could be taking small stabs. Pick your company, right? Pick which one you like. Pick which one you use. Pick which one you understand the most. If you don't understand either, then don't trade them, right? That's okay. You're never going to run out of opportunities ever, ever, ever, ever. I mean, I mean, you guys all know how much money Joe made on advanced auto parts. It's like you don't, you don't have to be in tech. You can be in boring car retail. Like if the pattern's good, the chart's good. You work on some fundamentals. You go through the whole process. You start studying. You spend that time on the weekends or at night when the markets are closed to think and grow rich. You can start putting some real capital behind some of these positions and really make, break, make some moves on it. So the company I'm referring to is GPN Global Payments Network. I've never heard of them before, but, but they've had a really, really nice decline. And I started doing some research on. Because there was a unique little deal that came across my desk recently. And they are one of the transacting methodologies of payments for all the buy now, pay later. Not only car dealerships, but everything, flea markets. Like anyone who does like, hey, buy it right now. And then we, you know, they own tons of collection agencies, right? So as debt America debt goes up, this Visa, MasterCard and Discover are going to go higher. So the higher consumer debt is, the higher this stock's gonna go. Just throwing that out there. Pretty, pretty nice little decline, right? Got that 50 pullback back above the 100 on the, on the, on the monthly. It's not even a weekly chart. It's 100 on the monthly. So really, really strong level there. And we can definitely ping and pong in between here for a bit. The 100 tuner on the weekly. So you don't want to buy it at 145. But if it pulls back to 115, this one could be, this one could be cool. Okay, sweet. Any other. This is so cool. By the way. Nancy Jones, flipping hot to the sea in Antarctica. How cool is that?
Yeah.
So cold.
That water is so cold.
There is no way I want an original ice bath.
Yeah. That's crazy.
She is a gangster now. Absolute gangster.
The, the seminar I'm at just, I just walked out on a financial analyst speaker and he was talking about consumer debt is up around. I think it was 25, 27 or something like that. Household consumer debt is up substantially.
And here you go, here's proof of that.
Yeah, that was one of the points they made was.
Pick on consumer debt stocks, man. Goodwill, I'm sorry, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Visa, mastercard, Discover, and now Global Payments. As, as people's debt increases, those stocks are going to go higher like it's a, it's, it's a guarantee. And these companies are too big to fail. Right. Visa Massacre. These aren't going anywhere ever. In fact, they're probably going to split. Speaking of splits.
Yeah.
Chipotle is doing a 50 for one. 50 for one, which is awesome. That is really, really cool. So that means that I think, I think this is the first split. I could be wrong, but I think it is.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's going to come down to $60 a share. Now we're going to play the absolute poop off of this thing, Tom. So keep in mind this is happening at around 3,000. Big grandma number, huge run up, best time to have a split. There's no way I'm buying it unless it's a fast little trade. But once this thing has a nice pullback post split, which it very, very frequently will and does, and we'll go look at Celsius in just a second, very often you get some good post split moves. This will go higher a couple months after the split. So I'm letting all of you know that now.
Right.
People have been begging for Chipotle to split. I, I don't know why the stock is going so high, but it is, it's doing well. They offer tons of different food if you're vegan, if you're. They follow all the, the diet trends and so they come up with meals that are diet trend friendly. It's like, oh, Scott's gonna go Paleo. Okay, Scott, come to Chipotle. We got your Paleo bowl. So when Scott, when Scott's going full vegan and just want to eat beans, it's like they can pop over Chipotle and get his vegan bean bowl.
Said a 16 ounce steak last night.
So he's getting ready for it.
That's right. He's getting ready. He's getting ready for the, for the big, for the big vegan diet.
Yeah.
So that, that's one of the reasons I think that that's, that's beneficial for Chipotle. But I mean, this is a big, big, a big run up. I'm proud that they've survived as long as they've had and they've had some good pullbacks. But I would like to get on the next one, on the next split. A good pullback, good retracement, and again, I'm not saying that they're even remotely in the same industry, but I do study splits a lot because splits are like one of the easiest fundamental plays. And Joe, I feel like we did really well on this one. We didn't catch all of it, but you never do. So Celsius had its split and again, we'll show, I'll show you exactly what Celsius did. So they announced a split coming out, kind of coming up into earnings a little bit. So they announced it, it had a really good pop. I rode that for eight, nine dollars a share. And then look what it did after the split. And then it had one more and they kind of popped again. And we, we looked at this, right? We trade this one. Joe made some good money off Celsius. She just bought some Celsius for the first time in Canada in the Costco. It's like this is probably, probably what Chipotle is going to do. And my assumption is that Chipotle, let's imagine that it's a split. What is either here or somewhere over here. So once they have the split, they'll probably have a pretty steep decline and then it'll trade sideways for a little bit and then they're gonna have a really, really nice push four or five months later. So we're talking, we're already able to plan like July, August, so maybe go into that calendar of yours, right? August, like, hey, August 1st, Newsome said. And what's cool for Garrett is he gets to go back and catch up on all of the recordings. So he saw Yum China pull down to that really beautiful level. Like this is early, early this pull down to that, you know, 32 price point after it took out this hammer from November. And again, look, I mean, now knowing what, you know, look how easy and simple that price action is where we, we Take out this candle, we take out that volume. Look at this, Eric. How beautiful, right? We break below, we retest old support, new resistance, bang, failure. Right down into 33, double bottom comes in earnings. And again, we can easily go back down to that price point and do it again. I don't think yum China is going to go away. Right? It is kfc, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell in China. So three times larger than the US they're gonna make some money. They'll make their margins. And again, you can always go and research more the fundamentals of this one.
But yum, KFC's in China.
It's crazy, crazy hazy.
That's wild.
Somebody was telling me that Reddit is going to have an IPO where those Wall, Wall street bets people and all them are on there. Is that interesting or is that just a bunch of ready.
That IPO is. I think that's, I think that's real. I believe that's going to happen.
That's what I heard.
Yeah, it was, it was today, guys. It was today.
Was it? What's the ticker Y. Oh, no kidding.
It's rddt.
There it is.
There it is.
Shoot, this is exciting. Thanks, Brian. Did you do anything with it?
I've got a, I've got a limit buy order in, but it hasn't hit my price target yet.
Very cool. Very, very cool. All right, so IPO red is out now again, most tech stocks, not all of them, but very, very, very often. Doesn't matter what you're in, you're gonna have the, this is all my opinion, of course, but you're going to have the fabricated FOMO as I call it, because you get all the investment bankers and the people who were in early, early, early and all that stuff, like they're able, you know, it depends on where you got in. You may or may not be able to sell, but let's say you got in, you know, four or five years ago. You're obviously making great money on this IPO for sure. But when they throw the price out in here, they just want us who's going to buy it. They kind of factor in the price and you know, they, they do a bit of math, but they always are going to have a big positive number on here. Every single IPO for, for human history for the first day, they're going to talk about it everywhere and go, oh, IPO is up 47%. Well that, that's from the investment bankers price. Okay, so that was from yesterday, wherever they were. So it wasn't like you couldn't get in, like we're not getting in yesterday. So once they list it out in the public market, they're always going to put it at a big high number. Why do you think that is? So everyone gets FOMO and buys into it. Duh. Now that means the early, early people can sell it, but if you bought it within the last like year or two, you're in a lockup period. One second you're in a lockup period and you're not able to, you're not able to get in to get out anyway. So that's, that's a very likely going to happen with. Hey buddy, I didn't know you were awake. You should be taking a nap right now. SpaceX. That's what's going to happen with SpaceX, if they ever go public, which, I mean, I think it's going to happen, but it's going to be pretty hard to sell unless you got in really, really early. If you get in like now up into the next two years, you're going to have a lockup period and it's going to be, whatever, it's going to be hard. So 98%, actually 99.999% of tech IPOs. There's only one IPO that's never done this. Every IPO that I've ever studied, every single one of them has gone lower than open. Who can tell me the one that hasn't? Google. Google. Yep, that's it. Good job, Scott.
Hey Jeremy, can I ask you a question?
Yep.
How would you buy, and maybe this is just the, the novice in me you mentioned. SpaceX. How can you buy that if it's not actually tradable? Like again, probably the novice of me. But how could I get shares of SpaceX before it's publicly traded?
I know a guy, private equity brokers.
Dude, I can get you a guy too.
Yep.
Okay. Somebody, some, somebody send me that information please.
Yep.
Scott, did you buy some?
I backed out because I was conversing with Jeremy on it and same thing that he was saying. It was a six month lockup once you bought it and going back and looking at a lot of things that come out, they do dip pretty good. So I'm like, I don't want to be in a position and if it doesn't go, I'm holding the money for a long time before I can cash out. So I decided I'll take that 50, 60 grand and put it somewhere else.
Yeah.
Which is fine. There's pros and cons. But Brian That's a great question, brother. And the answer is, yeah, there's, there's loads and loads and loads of pre market deals and it's called P E Private equity. So you get a private equity broker and there's already, there's already companies right now that are raising capital.
Right.
And it depends on how early they are. You have the seed round which is just the beginning, you know, so if you buy any company in the seed round and it ever goes public, you're a billionaire essentially or, or a deca millionaire, like you're doing well but you have seed round, you have the VC around, you have like series A and then series B and then series C and then so and so forth. So there's a lot of series and, and then it goes public. So it takes quite a while.
But it was like 125 a share to get in on it. That, that was Christmas time.
Yeah, yeah.
I really would love to own some SpaceX so if somebody can get me.
Yeah, I just put it in the chat for you.
Thank you very much.
Yeah, bro, of course, of course, yeah. Brian's a big space guy, he likes Lunar so he was trading Lunar a little bit. So here's L U N R. So I, I agree this is probably a really good one to keep an eye on. I mean this is nice little coiling effect here. They had, they had an earnings release and what's nifty about Lunar is, I mean I think it's a pretty good future play in the sense that they teamed up with NASA to put something on the moon. Pretty dope, right? So intuitive machines like that, that's, they could end up partnering with SpaceX and things like that. So anyway, one to watch for sure. Yes sir.
When you're talking about splits, Walmart split a while the beginning of the month but it has never really pulled back.
Is.
Do you think it's going to pull back or not?
It will, yeah.
Because I've been waiting to get in on that and I'm just like, I don't see the big pullback.
It hasn't, it has, it had a very small one which is here but I mean that's, that's extremely tiny. I agree with you. So I haven't gotten back in on Walmart either. I am waiting for a little bit of a bigger dip. So I'm with you on that one. I'm still waiting for Walmart, the largest revenue generating company on planet Earth.
Isn't that crazy?
Crazy. Look at this number. This looks like Garrett's bank account right here. 173 billion in a quarter.
It's just like my bank account, except.
For the B. Yeah, it's same here. I got a 60 cents. I got a seven. I got 173 bucks.
Yeah, there's no bees anywhere places, too.
Exactly. No bees anywhere in my broker. I wonder why that is. Yeah, beautiful be. I mean, just amazing. Amazing trend. Really fascinating, but. Yeah, you are correct, Scott. No, no real strong pullback on Walmart yet, but it'll happen. It will. Okay, cool. So what else do you guys want to look at?
Can you look at. Oh, what is that? Ibit. The. This one I shares. Bitcoin.
Yeah. What you got for me?
Okay, so if I can make my computer do what I want it to. All right. Can I share my screen?
Yes, ma'. Am.
All right. Think it's coming? Maybe. I think my computer's being slow.
You're good. You're good. I'm gonna go put a cartoon on for Jason. He's supposed to be taking a nap. He doesn't take naps anymore. They're like 20 minutes long.
While she's working on that. Hey, guys, would it be beneficial to have, like, a. A shared spreadsheet with links to a shared chart or something that shows us positions that we should be looking at or that we're in or going to be in or. I mean, I know it's in the. In the backlog of the. The WhatsApp, but.
Yeah, I think that would be amazing. I think that would be amazing.
Yes.
If we just had one spreadsheet that.
Was shared and it had a link, A chart link on it, that would be awesome. And it had, like, all the. Jeremy's notes on it about what your. Your entries and, you know, your. Your drawings and stuff on it should be. It would be super helpful.
Great idea. It's hard to go back through WhatsApp sometimes. You get it. Keep searching. Keep searching.
Well, and I. I'm probably have a different perspective because I just jumped in. So I'm trying to, you know, you guys are talking about stuff that I don't even know where to find it, so.
Oh, yeah, true. Yeah. Well, a lot of these. A lot of things we're looking at, too, Garrett, are just trades other people are in. I mean, so if they want to share their positions, I guess they definitely can. For sure.
Yeah. I just think it would be a good learning tool to.
Yeah.
And potentially a, you know, a crutch or a, you know, walker for training wheels for us as we're. We're getting started to kind of see what positions you think would be where our. Where our entry should be, where our stop should be. Why we're thinking that, you know, all the notes, the cool stuff that you always share with us, and you draw on the charts, but then they're just kind of gone and, you know.
Yeah, man.
I don't know.
I will get. I will get working on that.
I'm needy.
But this looks. This looks good to me, Ms. Sue.
Okay, so what I. I guess one of my questions is, like, at the beginning, I wasn't sure how to start that count, but pretty confident this is correct here. So. Couple of gaps. I don't know if it'll come down this low, but that would be nice.
Yeah. Yeah, I agreed. I mean, what's cool about it is right if we start taking out this level above. Above that bear candle that you got, that would still be a wave four. So if it. So you're kind of in that zone of. Okay, if it goes lower, I'll definitely snag some Tom. But if it starts consolidating and you got the wave five, don't. Don't miss it just because it didn't go down exactly where you thought it would.
Yeah, good, good, good thought there.
Like, coin.
Yeah, I missed one.
Because it didn't go down as low as I wanted it to.
Same.
I totally missed out on that. Okay, so I'm gonna put another alert here. Okay, thank you.
Sure thing. All right, who else has a trade or chart they want to review something they're in or something they want to be in? Miss Joe, would you. Would you. What you printing money on over there?
Clip sales, mostly.
The Federal Reserve.
Not quite, but I kind of decided, like, just based on your saying, be an owner, not just a consumer or whatever. So that's why I posted Starbucks and Lulu and Costco, like, earlier or whatever, because I kind of decided I'm gonna get into those and not pay for them anymore when I go there.
Sure.
So I don't. I guess Costco is pretty. Still fairly extended, but wondering what's happening there too.
Agreed. Nope.
You're absolutely right. Yeah. Costco's. It's up there. The way I initially viewed it. Yeah, I mean, the way I initially viewed it was like this was some type of A, and then, you know, a B and a C, probably with a gap and go like that. I mean, it makes sense that we get a little bit of a dip to some degree, but with as high as it is, this just tells me that, again, if you get a chance you want to buy some, just buy a super small size. Right. 3 shares, 5 shares, 10, whatever. Just don't be in too, too, too aggressive or too high. But do it on a down day.
Yeah. Just start doing the down day thing here.
Yep, yep. On Costco, Lulu has earnings tonight.
Yeah.
So let's see what it does. That's gonna be really fun. It could easily, easily open above here. If it opens about 495 it's going to run.
And if it opens the candle on last earnings.
I know, look at this.
Oh wow.
Small gap down and then just a rampage. So yeah, as long, as long as it doesn't open below 440, you should be good. It seems to me like this, this is a nice little invert, head and shoulders, double bottom looking thing, good resistance. So if you're Gonna Open above 490, it probably just kind of keeps pressing in. So make sure you have a little bit over earnings. You know, have some shares.
But not much.
Yeah. Maybe buy a couple more and if it gaps down then you know, buy a few more. Get like, come up with a GTC EXT order to pick some up here and here just in case you get a crazy lower shadow.
Right.
So maybe, you know, you do a couple shares here, a couple shares here, a couple shares there and then a couple shares at market. Just, just, just in case it has a good gap on earnings. Yeah. And these are all GTC EXT like extended hour orders. Just because you get that lower shadow and we open exactly where we are now, you know, in the morning, but we had a flash down at night.
Yeah, those are nice.
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
Jeremy, can I ask you a question on our Shopify position?
Yes sir.
We really just don't want it to close below 80.
Right.
We really just don't really care where it closes as long as it closes above 80. We're pretty, we're still looking pretty good, right?
I would say 80. Exactly. I mean so this is a, it's a really key.
Oh yes.
A little lower. Yeah, it's a good resistance right here. I mean truthfully, this, this hundred can keep coming in and it can, it can bounce around in here for a little bit. I'm okay with that.
Okay.
Okay. And with the 100, I mean this is a beautiful resistance. Again you got this resistance and you got the 200 on the weekly. And so that was the reason that the, the selling that's coming in. That's why it's coming in. So if it can break above there. At some point we should be really, really good. But I am absolutely okay with it to interact with the 101 more time because it didn't actually touch it last time.
That chart you just chose, the chart you just showed looked like that same reversal pattern again, one click back. I don't know what time frame that was, but weekly. Yeah, right there. That's the same pattern. All the other ones are. So you're looking at that for reversal back down now, I guess.
Right.
If. If it takes out this candle. Yeah.
Yeah.
Eric, did you sell your recovery calls on Shopify today or yesterday?
My covered calls were on Carvana, my shop. I didn't have covered calls, but I did have like 600 shares and I sold them in a little bit of profit because I said a limit sell on them. So auto sold yesterday.
Nice. Okay, cool.
Yeah.
Made a profit on your shop shares.
Yep. My Carvana is. Well, that's tomorrow, isn't it? Yeah. That I'm going to get called out because I did calls at 82 bucks and it's at 88 right now. So that those will go away. I got 300 shares of that.
Nice.
But that. This brings up another question and I think it's really relevant because we're talking about earnings.
They.
When they had earnings on Carvana February 22, I was available in the afternoon and I was watching it go up and I picked some up after hours at 67, 62. So that. And we just talked about, you know, maybe if there's a wick down, you can do a GTC ext on the downside. But this thing just screamed straight up. And I just got in because I didn't know where it was going to go. Plus it was breaking above all that previous activity.
Yeah.
That happened in December. Right. So we knew that it's taken any.
Exactly.
Bears out.
So yeah.
Is what's the best play for that after hours when the thing just is screaming up and you think that you want to get into some. You can just do it. Because there was also a 10 EMA play. Well, not really back then because it went below. But everything just looked good. Do you just buy some shares and.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anytime the market's closed, you only have. You only have two choices realistically. So you have to trade after hours. You have to use a limit order.
Yep. Right.
And you can. You can either do good till cancel ext or just ext. Like either. You know, either one. So it has to be extended hours.
Yep.
So let's say you're at 62. If you do a limit order at 65. Right. $5 above where you want to get in, and it's currently trading at 62, you can get filled. I mean, you're obviously going to get filled lower, but you got to put. You have to use a limit order, as I said. So wherever you want to get in, that's answer number one. Obviously, we'll talk more about options in April, but the only other thing you can do is at open or somewhere around open, get into some calls, because calls give you the ability to buy the stock at a lower price. If the stock goes higher, you can make money on the call options. But what was beautiful is we did such a good job of analysis on this gap. And if you guys ever want to go back to that class, right. That month, that Thursday class we did on the, on the 22nd where I talked about what's Carvana gonna do if it gaps above here? You guys remember that because we were talking about gaps and we're talking about short flow. And this, this was a perfect, perfect, perfect gap. And it did everything that we wanted it to do and is doing. And yeah. Great job picking up some shares, Eric. An awesome job selling them for a profit. Yeah. Anytime you're trading extended hours, you have to use an extended hours order and you have to use a limit order. And that's usually the most effective way to get in.
So my ebay account says like 7am to 8pm does. Is that it or will it do it 11pm, 2am?
No. No.
So there's no way to buy shares in that dead of the night?
Correct. Unfortunately, that's a law.
Right? Is that right, or is that a broker thing?
It's a broker thing. Yeah. I wouldn't call it a law. That is currently, right now, the general consensus. But if you want to go international, if that particular stock is traded on another exchange, you could pick it up on another exchange if you want to pay international broker fees.
I see.
But that's not. But essentially, yes. Most hours for Getting trades is 7am Eastern to 8pm Eastern. Once it's past that, it's really hard to get shares like. Okay, I don't know how to. So.
Okay.
Yep. Awesome. Thank you.
Yeah, man, great questions, great questions. That's why I love studying those pre market. Man, those pre market moves are so, so cool. So cool. All right. Who else I can look at a position you're in or want to be in. This is your time, ladies and gents.
We think about being b E a m therapeutic being.
Therapeutics.
I have some. I have some calls in that for, like, 30 days out that I've had for a while, but I'm not sure.
Today is your deciding candle, so. Oh, really? Yeah. I asked. Yep. So below here, like a close. Below the low today. Get out. And a close. Above the high. Stay in.
Okay.
Because if it takes that. That level by Garrett Money, it'll. I know you're not in a lot, but. Yeah, it'll. It'll go back down here.
Yeah, it's just me. Also, it's not that much.
Exactly. Because it's all about that volume right there. That was the big piece. Again. I know you're. You're studying and learning this, but as we close below that volume and retested it, I mean, that was just this really, really key level. So now that you got your. Your indecision doji today. Yeah. Below and above. That'll be it. Yeah, Man. Jeremy.
Big dog or something.
Exactly. Exactly. You look at anything? Bearded Jerem.
That 3M trade that you posted. But I've been scanning.
I have been finding.
Well, the last thing I did was over the weekend, I released. Didn't find anything that I loved, so.
I thought you posted the 3M trade.
No, you did. I. I just.
Echoed it, and I.
Was like, are you sure? I thought you are.
You still expect.
You know, I felt like you just gave me that trade, and I was like, oh, someone did. I. I don't think I found it. Someone else found it. No, it wasn't me. I did place it. I just didn't get filled yet. But it was a great trade. I wish. I wish I would have seen it on that day.
Yeah.
If I was doing a scan, I'm 100% getting in above the high of that bear candle and this bear candle here. So above this guy and above that guy. The easiest trade of my life. Like, there's not. I haven't seen a better trade since 1984 than that one. That's just perfect. So, yeah, I probably missed this one at this point. That is a beautiful trade. That's the stuff I'm looking for. Family. We'll find more. Don't worry. It'll be there. And when it's there, I'll let you all know. It's like, all right, this is. This is the one. But there you go, right above that bear volume. Really nice gap. Not on earnings. Always a good thing. Because people don't. People are surprised. They're like, whoa. Why is it gapping? So they get extra scared. And then it Breaks above there and. Yeah, really, really good push. So nice.
So who did post it? Curious.
I did. I posted a day squiggle on it and you said my count was off.
Oh, nice, Scott. All right. Scott found 3M. He gets credit. Good job, dude. It's. It's again, it's a great trade. To see. To see.
It was a couple days after that, though, when I posted mine.
Whoever. It's irrelevant.
Whoever.
Great chart. It's great. I'm gonna give it to Jeremy. I'm gonna. Jeremy. Jeremy did this trip.
I give it to Jeremy.
You're just. You're just talking to yourself in first person. You'll never know. You'll never know. That's too good. Yeah. So this is. This is the cool one. All right, let's go through some other Just tickers that we've. We've watched a lot. I know a lot of you have thrown a bunch of stuff out there. Nvidia. And Nvidia's just amazing. So here. Here's the truth about Nvidia team. I have no idea what's stopping it. If it takes out this candle, meaning nothing. So, I mean, really, really, really good resistance. This trend has been the craziest trend I've seen since Tesla. And if it takes out that candle, it's just gonna keep going.
The big bear candle?
No, the one. The one that formed today.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, yeah, that one that formed today. So that one's going to be really interesting. Very, very interesting.
We don't fill those gaps, but I don't think it's going to.
Are you putting like a limit by.
Order there or something or what? A stop or stop order, whatever that is.
Yep.
Yep, yep.
It breaks above there. I would just get back in. I'll keep going. Even if it's. Even if it's a couple shares, a couple call options. I mean, this is. This is trend, like, unlike I've seen in my whole life. And then if we ever close above here, I mean, obviously it's just going to hit a thousand the next day or that or that day. So. Trend is so bullish on Nvidia. Don't try to call tops is what I'm telling you. Don't. Don't you dare buy puts. If someone buys puts and they text me, I'm not gonna. I'm just gonna delete the message because you're gonna try to be a hero and you're gonna lose money. That's what's going to happen. Jeff with. Look at this. Like he told us about cnn Just keeps going up. So great. Great chart analysis, Jeff. If you guys remember seeing his wave count on this one, I think last week he nailed it. So he's gonna be feeling good about that.
Yeah, I, I got out right before earnings and of course they had good earnings and I went crazy. But I did make money on it anyway.
There you go. Great job, man.
I'll wait for the pullback and I'll get back in.
Yeah, yeah. That's awesome. Really good trade. Good trade. ADM had a cute little move here, so I got out of this one. Archer Daniels. That was, that was a fun little gap that had some cool moves. Database is going to start coming back to an entry that I'm beginning to watch it very, very closely down here. I'm gonna start to start getting back into because again, another great earnings. They, they spanked it. And it's back down to. If you're anyone's doing wave counts on Mongo database, you're probably getting the bottom of a wave C after all this move. This is the top of a wave five. I mean, find out if you can find another account. I would love that. And you got the ABC or 1, 2, 3, 4, and then, you know, 5 goes down a little bit lower. But begin to watch that one again and begin start planning Mongo database again. So that'll come to fruition in a couple weeks or a couple months. Advanced Auto Parts. I just keep loving this chart. So again, good job. I know Garrett and Joe are, are made some good money on Advanced Auto Parts.
I'm still in there. Yeah, yeah.
Going up and up. Come like Sue.
I know, right? I gotta just.
Always winning crazy.
Well, not always. I wish, but you know, save some.
Money for the rest of us.
I know.
I pay a little bit of business expenses too, so.
Yeah, we all do. We all do. Great trade, though. Great trade. And then Boeing. So I did sell puts on Boeing. I have shares of Boeing. Fear. Fear is pretty low down here, guys. And I think that's. PayPal or Boeing don't go zero in our lifetimes. So they're going to have problems, sure. But they'll make a few phone calls, their buddy in Congress, you know, and they'll be just fine. So I don't think Boeing does anything other than go up eventually. So pretty low. If we turn my drawing back on. You guys, remember from January, I'm pyramiding into this one because it's scary. And again, I know that we planned this one for a while, but it's, it is coming back down.
So I Guess my question is gonna be that low. How do you set. Where. Where do you set a stop? How do you. Or do you just zero stop it?
Like, I'm pyramiding into this one. So you'll. You'll learn about that in week two, I believe, of January's classes. So I take my risk and I start buying. I buy more as it gets lower. But the ultimate level down here. Exactly. That's my style.
And so how are you calculating that when there's nothing really there. Was there some support down there or something or.
Yes, sir.
How did you pick that level?
That's a great question. But there was. Yep. The 200 on the monthly is right there.
Okay. Oh, I see. Okay. Okay.
You thought I was cool for a second, and then you're like, oh, he just.
Based on what I was seeing.
No, dude, I wish that was cool. I know. I hate to, like, oh, the big red line told me to. Yeah.
Makes so much more sense.
Yeah, for sure, for sure, for sure. All right, well, I mean, there's all kinds of cool stuff out there, fam. So keep me posted on whatever else you're trading. If there's any other charts or any other positions, I'll keep you all posted. But, you know, feel free to set up IIPR on a pullback if you all want to trade us. Would trade this one with us together. I'm in iipr, and if you're not, it's okay. Just set up a limit to try to get in on a pullback. Right. Do those limit buys just so we can team trade. And really, that'll be the only one that I know that we're all probably going to be in together to some degree. But I'll keep you all posted and I'll get that. I'll get that worksheet made and tracked. That kind of fun stuff, and we'll see what that looks like.
I got one quick question, Jeremy.
Yep.
Hit me, bro.
If you're selling a call but it doesn't pay very well and you own the shares, would you get into it or would you just leave it alone?
Leave it alone? Yeah, I want. It needs to pay at least 1% or more of the future stock price for six weeks or less, worth the time. So I'm selling an option at 55. Doesn't matter what the stock is. I need to get at least 55 cents for six weeks or less. Right. So 1% of the future stock price or whatever. Whatever price you're selling. Same thing with a put.
It's like I was I have shares, obviously, in Google, and it's only paying like, $12. So it's.
Yeah, I mean, it depends on where, like, where you're selling. Like, the one. Like a 155 end of April pays pretty good. It's like a $25 or something. So it just depends on how many contracts you have, obviously, and. And how far away you're selling in the. In the expiration. Those are all rules that I'll make sure that you guys have by the end of April. But anywhere up in here, this is where I'm selling my calls on Google, because we know that it'll likely. It'll likely fill this gap relatively soon, but. Beautiful move. We all know Google is going to go higher over time, and so it's just having that balance of selling it high as we can and still getting paid a decent amount. And if we don't, then, yeah, just leave it alone.
Good question.
All right, well, cool, fam. Yeah. If you guys have any other questions, please let me know. Next week, same thing. We're just going to review our trades, review your charts. What are you in? How can I help you? Tell me what you're trading, what your challenges are, what your excitement are, what you're working on, and then, April, we will talk about options, and it will be a blast. So I'll see you all on Monday. Team, you are incredible. Thanks, everyone. And until next time, love life, live life, and trade it. Thanks, yeah.
Bye, guys.
Hi, guys.
Thank you.
