The speaker describes designing workshops by making lots of rough material, then finding the one piece that works. He rebranded his program from Weekly Recurring Revenue to The Offer Show and found that organizing everything into a format exposed what he actually understood. Pushing through that messy middle phase led to strong sales.

When you create the workshops, you learn more about your own skill or your own delivery, and it becomes a different philosophy than when you started. For example, when The Offer Show actually was first called Weekly Recurring Revenue, around 75% of the way through developing the workshop is when I thought, oh, this is a good way to see it. This is a good way to look at it. So often, like, the best ideas come to us 75% of the way through the creation of something new. And it's a little scary in the beginning because you're like, I haven't done a workshop. Because we think that we make a lot of jumps, we don't really connect our thoughts. So when you're forced to put everything into a coherent workshop, you see, oh, I don't know this as well as I thought I would. There's a fault in my thinking here. But if you can go through that, it sells really fucking well and people really like it.
