A creator with thousands of followers feels insecure watching others earn more with fewer followers. Generic "10 things about Jeff Bezos" threads fail because they never answer the real question: why should anyone listen to you? Without that answer, viral content doesn't make money.
There's a lot of people who have these big followings and deep down they're secretly embarrassed because there's people making so much more money than them with 3,000 followers. Because everybody's writing the 10 threads about Jeff Bezos and 10 books that'll 10x your life and retweeting the shit out of it. Every piece of content that you do should answer the question, why should people listen to you? And the Jeff Bezos threads don't answer that question. That's why they don't make that much money.
