Cold DMs work if you stop using vague praise and start with a clear offer. Lead with high status, keep your message short so theirs matches, then move fast to a call. Most people do it wrong.
When people go, cold DMs are dead. No, it's the way you cold DM and the way other people cold DM that's dead. So we want to open with two things. Number one is high interest. That's a big mistake I see people make. They will send a message that says, hey bro, I ran your post and it changed my life. Number one is it's bullshit. And number two is they know that your life is the same. I like to open with something that's high interest. I have this thing, do you want it? Let me know. And two is you want to open also with high status. There should be around the same text amounts from you and your prospect. So if they ask about details, well, then that means that maybe they're interested in something. You found a problem and then you go, hey man, let's go over solutions on a call and see if I can help. It's always high status. Like you don't want to be below the prospect. If anything, you want to be above the prospect. You're the guy with the solution. They're the guys that need it. Remember that one. And that's it. Was it slimy? No. Was it corny? No. Was it high status and high interest? Yes. And that's the point.
