A $25K price tag sounds outrageous until you know the numbers. Ask about revenue, growth plans, and what a connection is worth, then show the ROI in a spreadsheet. Suddenly the cost looks small.

Everything is expensive without context. So you need to establish context first before you drop the price. So I would ask them, how much is your business making? Oh, well, how much is this connection worth to you? Who are you connecting with? What do you want to do in the future? What does it look like in 3 to 5 years? I did the math with them and actually pulled the Google Sheets and the calculator. And when you paint those big numbers and they tell you something like $100K to $50K, then $25K doesn't seem that much, right? Because you established context before. It's all about perspective.
