People with strong personal brands make more money than better salespeople because they've already built trust. Your brand does the work: customers come to you wanting to buy, so you can be mediocre at sales and still close deals.
Idiots with attention are making more money than me. I've had people buy from me just because they like some of my personality or something I said. So when you have this personal brand, it puts you in a better position. You don't go to people, people come to you if you build it the right way. You have permission to absolutely suck at sales calls and you'll still convert people because they already trust you. Build a brand because it gives you this room to not be as good as other people and still win more than them.
