Two people break down what makes content work: it should validate, entertain, or educate. They judge quality by intuition, inbound leads, and whether it positions you as competent. A fitness coach named Dayton posted about avoiding reading so he wouldn't sound like everyone else, and the engagement came from serious people, which signals good content.
Have you thought about like what constitutes good content?
Yeah, I kind of simplified to 3 things. It either validates someone, it entertains someone, or it educates someone. Yeah, it is a big feel thing, especially with my account right now. I just kind of feel it out like, I think this would be useful to someone. Your take on that?
The other day, Dayton, he's a fitness coach on Twitter, he tweeted something as in sometimes I don't like reading other people because it makes me sound like everybody else. And he said it didn't get many likes, but the only guys who liked it were Twitter Gs. And I'm like, well, yeah, then it was a good tweet. So for me, the metrics I measure good content by are leads. How many inbound people are you getting? Or just kind of how it positions yourself. Is this proving your competence?
