A creator and his friend Quinn try paying for coffee with social media likes instead of cash. The barista's confusion is the whole point. They're testing whether absurd humor works as marketing.

We're in Arizona with my good friend Quinn recording a few videos. The first time I came to the United States to record with you, we recorded a really dumb erectile dysfunction ad. We're gonna learn marketing today by studying an erectile dysfunction ad, which actually performed really well. So today I woke up and I thought, Quinn, how can we make something dumber? And he said, oh, I got an idea for you. So what we did, we went to the coffee shop and I got this ongoing joke about how people ask me, do you want to pay with cash or card? And I say, I don't have any of those. But one time I had a post that had like 1,000 likes. It's a joke, but I thought Why not make it real? Because life imitates comedy. So I went up to the barista and I ordered this San Pellegrino. And she asked me, would you like to pay with cash? I'm like, I don't have cash, but one time I had a post with 1,000 likes. And then like, I just started panicking because she looked at me like I was stupid. And it was stupid. This is the kind of stuff we do for you guys in content.
