You hire a team so you can work less. I work harder now that I hired a team. And the reason why? It's because I'm so fucking afraid of waking up in the morning and failing for them. And if I don't deliver for them, to me it's like so stressful. So I just wake up and do it. And if I take a break from that, I'll disappoint them. This is a good example. So I have a bad knee. I love to go volcano hiking in Guatemala. I love to go up the thing, which is the hard part. Fucking despise going down the volcano. The pain's manageable, but I'm always the last. I'm slowing the group down. And to me, just being like a dead load for people was just unacceptable. I didn't want to be useless, which is why I get very impatient with people I don't consider competent or that won't help themselves. I'm like, bro, how are you okay with being a dead load? This is like the worst thing you could be.
