David Molina argues that marketing works by appealing to emotion, not logic. Show people what they want to become: the Lamborghini, the mansion, the lifestyle. Sell the desire and the feeling, not the features.
This is why the Lambos, the mansions, the flashy things actually work. Because people want that. You know the trick is happening, but you still play into it. It's like, girl, a girl's wearing makeup. You know she's wearing makeup, but she looks hot anyways. You're going to play into it, right? You're not insulting their intelligence. What you're doing is you're showing them what they could get. You don't want to apply to the logical brain. You want to apply to the emotional brain. And when you show them what their life could look like, they're actually more open to working with you. So sometimes you just have to play the game for what it is. Sell lifestyle, not tactics.
