A sales framework adapted from BANT to filter applicants: ask about budget by anchoring to revenue gains, confirm they're the decision-maker, assess their capacity for new clients, and only commit to those ready to start immediately. Speed and urgency separate serious prospects from tire-kickers.

BANT is Budget, Attention, Need, and Timing. So what that is, is a way to filter applications. Budget is, I usually ask, if you got this amount of clients in this much time, how much extra revenue would that mean for you? And then I'll say, what would be a reasonable budget for this? And then I mention the numbers, $10K, $15K, $20K. The price is $10K, but by framing it as this lower one, by the time you get in a call, it's not a surprise. Authority is just, can they make a decision? So the way I frame those is, are you the sole decision maker or do you need someone else to make decisions for you? And the way you frame that is very, you go driven. It's like, no, I don't need anybody to make decisions for me, bro. Need is basically like, how many clients do you have and how many more can you take? The last thing is timing. When would you like to start? Not right now, next month, or immediately? And I only will talk to the people who respond immediately. So that's the band framework for the application funnel.
