Stop blaming the algorithm. It's just your audience telling you what they want to watch. If your content isn't getting engagement, the problem isn't the platform, it's that you're not making something worth their attention.
So MrBeast has this one phrase that I think pissed a lot of people off. Every time you want to talk about the algorithm, replace it for audience, and then you'll realize where you stand. So if you ever feel like, oh man, the algorithm isn't being kind, oh, the algorithm's fucking me over, well then probably your audience is fucking you over because you're not putting attention into them. So a good way to kind of tweak that is every time you want to say engagement, replace that for content. So if you're ever complaining about, man, my engagement is shit, well, now you know why.
