Why Your Clients Don't Get Results & Leave You

David Molina says less than 10% of learners finish courses, and his own data shows just 20 minutes of engagement per week. He built "YouPaced" courses using AI chatbots instead of recordings, jumping to 1,000 daily messages and faster results that keep clients from leaving.

Good morning. So, good morning. Have you considered that maybe— good morning— what percentage of your clients or the people who buy anything from you, do you believe, actually consume what you gave them? Like a course, a workshop, whatever you give them, a PDF. What percentage of them do you think actually go through it in completion? And what percentage of that do you believe that they actually, uh, go through, right? Is it 5%? Is it 50%? Is it 100%? I, I don't have the number fresh in my mind right now, but I've heard from like people who run courses platforms, right, uh, that it's like less than 10% of the people who actually like go through this kind of stuff. And what if when you started talking, maybe you started a little bit stuttered, a little bit, and they didn't watch it? Or maybe they had it as a background while they scrolled something else? In my situation, played Clash Royale. Great game. Like, it's very little. I have, um, I'll have a place where I have all my, all my stuff, right? All my workshops, all my assets. And I put a lot of work into them. It was like maybe 2 of work. It's got like 50+ workshops, each of them is like an hour plus each. And the platform gives me a little bit of insight on like how much people actually consume it. And the average is like people show up to that place like 20 minutes a week. It's like very little. Like people don't watch our things. Um, I'll just speak for myself, but maybe, maybe you've encountered that if clients go with, I don't the bandwidth, or I gotta do something, you find yourself kind of telling them the same thing. You should do that, you should try that, maybe you should consider this. And frankly, it's just because they haven't consumed it, they haven't, they haven't seen it, they don't know what you're talking about, even though the material is there. Well, things come up, people, people get busy, and I don't think we should assume that just because the info is there that it is being consumed. It's, uh, I have this thing, this belief that if I said it but my clients didn't hear it then I didn't say it. And so what happens if people don't consume, uh, the things that, like, we've given them? Then we have very little way to give them value, right? Because, well, they're not getting any. It's like trying to feed somebody who doesn't have a mouth, right? Very hard. And so what can you do? Well, where does that end up? It's, uh, they don't consume it, then they believe that maybe this isn't for them, something comes up and they go somewhere else and maybe they'll do the same thing to them, but they go somewhere else, which is, well, not exactly ideal for business because they leave you and they're no longer with you. And so the consumption being the bottleneck is a big deal, is a big bottleneck because if they consume more of the things that you know are good for them that you put a lot of work into, then you know that they would get something. Right? There's a reason why these things work for you and you spend so many months or years making it good. So what's the solution to that? I, um, I've been thinking about that a lot because I noticed consumption being the bottleneck. And the answer that I arrived to, and the one that I've been installing, and it's been actually quite helpful because we went from 20 minutes a week to 1,000 messages a day on, uh, Cashy, which is basically my AI clone. And I believe the answer to that is some, some AI agents, yes, but also something I called you-paced courses. So there are self-paced courses and you-paced courses. A self-paced course is, well, you go at a certain pace, but if you don't understand something, let's say it's a video Well, then people don't just like rewind, right? They just keep watching and eventually they kind of lose the thread and then they're like, ah, whatever, they skip and they start watching YouTube Shorts. Been there, done that. If it's a text, right? If it's a PDF, well, maybe they read the first 2 pages, if any, and then it's like, well, they get distracted, right? And so the value that was in there, it was a lot, but the value that was actually delivered was very little because they didn't consume it. I believe in, in YouPaced courses now, and well, the 1,000 messages a day kind of helps me see the, the benefit of it. So what is it? It's basically a chatbot, but you engineer your material— courses, PDFs, workshops, even straight recordings— and you engineer it in a way that it's like people can pace it at their liking, meaning if they didn't understand something, because it's a chatbot and it's trained, it doesn't force them to continue on like a recording. Like, you can't talk to a recording, right? However, on a YouPaced course, you can say, well, I didn't really understand that. Can you give me an example for myself? You can even ask it, hey, give me— is this relevant to me? Here's what I do. Or, oh, I understand the benefit of this. Here's my constraints. This is where I'm at. Help me come up with a plan. Or help— they can even ask it stuff like, this is where I'm at. Is this relevant to me? Or is this— is there another one that you recommend? And so what you have is not this unilateral discussion of where course speaks, you listen. You have this bilateral discussion in which course speaks, you speak. It's like, do you understand? Yes or no. Okay, what part isn't clear? And then the course kind of talks with them and it's a really, I believe it's a really compassionate way of delivering our value. And it's also better consumed because it doesn't take 60 minutes, it takes like 5. So just like that, you made it 12 times as fast, which means you probably got 12 times the value delivered to them, which is just a fantastic thing to add to your repertoire. See, big words, smash like. Okay, uh, kind of lost my train of thought, but yeah, you understand what I'm trying to say is it's a more compassionate way of teaching and showing people, uh, well, how you can help them because it's so custom, it's so nice. Like, for example, let's say I watch a self-paced course on a U-Paced course on fitness, right? I'd say I could ask it, besides just getting a plan which a self-paced course would give me, I could ask it, well, I finished work at noon and then I had breakfast or I had lunch, what do you recommend I do next? Oh, well, I typically, I'm very like tired after a leg day, so is there any like nutrition guidelines you got around that or something I could do? And it's like, it's so nice because they just, I would just best guess. Oh yeah, like you train at this time and then you eat this, you eat that after, and maybe you should pace it like this on your leg day. And by the way, uh, when, when's usually your leg day? Maybe you can schedule it around a time that makes more sense for you. Like, imagine if you could deliver that to your clients, that you-paced course. It's like everybody else is selling just info, right? It's, uh, it's a unilateral discussion, but you have a bilateral discussion that is so kind, so fast so compassionate. It's just nice. It's just a nice thing to add. So now, thanks to me kind of transforming some of mine into U-Paced courses, I have more case studies and more client wins, and I'm getting them faster than I can share them. And it's really cool. It's really cool because now I can see kind of the fruits of my labor. And, uh, this is available to everybody because now I don't have to ask people to watch me talk 90 minutes on how to get whales or attract whales, I just give them Whalebait Kashi and she writes this stuff for them. I don't have to ask them to watch a 60-minute recording on how to craft an offer or draft a template themselves. Offer Kashi does it for them. I don't have to talk to them to extract the big idea. Big Idea Kashi guides them through it and asks them questions for it. So I think that's kind of the future of, um, well, we're in the education business, so let's just call it education. It's, it's just a kinder way to deliver. And I believe that if you can offer you-paced courses to your people, then a lot of great things might happen to your business. Because when you make it faster, you make it more valuable. When you make it more valuable, people get more results. And where people get results, people stay. So it's better for everybody.
