I am on LinkedIn Live number seven. What does it mean, LinkedIn Live number seven? Well, I came to a conference in Florida, and this is the seventh time that I'm going on LinkedIn Live. As you can see, I'm still sweating a little bit from my run. I went for a beautiful 3.5-mile run. in Clearwater, Florida. And I'm excited today because I want to share with you some insights about how to leverage LinkedIn. LinkedIn is the world's largest professional social network. There are 1 billion people using LinkedIn right now, and 60 million people are logging in every day, spending more than 17 minutes a day. And you using artificial intelligence together with LinkedIn will be a game changer. So let me share my screen now and show you how to use this tool called Evvy AI to help you. So if you go to LinkedIn, you go to the homepage, you'll see that people are writing posts on LinkedIn. They're literally writing posts every single day. So if you scroll down and you click on the comment box, you'll notice if you install the Evvy AI extension that you can drop a comment using artificial intelligence. Now, instead of you thinking about what to say, the AI will read the post and suggest a comment in just a matter of a few seconds, as opposed to you spending a few minutes wondering what you should say, how you should say it, and so on. So it actually wrote this whole thing up. Reflecting on your post, I'm reminded of the importance of recognizing unique energetic blueprints. As a CEO and entrepreneur, I see how vital it is. It's a lesson I learned the hard way, now a cornerstone of personal development. So I'm going to press post. And now I just left a very thoughtful comment for Dottie. I'm also going to give her a little heart over here. So this is some of the things that you can do with this tool. If you want to be able to get this tool, all you got to do is go to my profile. You see I'm going to my profile and then where it says try ChatGPT for LinkedIn, you can literally click on that, that link, and that takes you straight to my profile here. Now all you have to do is click on login on the top right corner. See that? You'll be able to create an account and then log in. And once you log in, on the bottom right, you can click on Add Evvy AI to Chrome. It'll allow you to save profiles. So I saved a bunch of profiles, like for example, Mark Borelli's profile. I can now add him to a particular list. So in this case, I'm going to add him to a list right over here. I'm going to add him to Evvy AI, or I can add him to LinkedIn Client, or I have many different People, and you see Evi AI Premium. I'm going to save it, and now I added him to an Evi AI Premium user. I can also add him to LinkedIn clients. I'm going to go in here, manage users list. I'm going to go in here, and I'm going to go to EN clients. You see there's I have lots of different lists here that I can use, and I can add them to lists. And I also created one called Oma Clearwater.
See.
These are all the people that attended the Clearwater event in OMA that I just spoke at. And now if I want to see their recent posts, I just click on that button there and it shows me their recent posts on LinkedIn. So you see he reposted this over here. If I want to message him, I can click on message and over here, and I'm going to say, what did you think of the seminar? Now instead of me writing, what did you think of the seminar? I'm gonna go in here and I'm gonna have Evie AI write it up for me. What did you think of the LinkedIn training at— Okay, so I'm gonna go in here, I'm gonna click GPT-4, I'm gonna hit generate. What it's gonna do is it's gonna read our conversation. So we just had a conversation, it's gonna read our conversation, it's gonna help me continue that conversation with him. That is extremely powerful if you want to be able to write really professional direct messages. Allow the AI to rewrite it for you. So I'm going to press Insert. It says, hope you're doing well. I'm curious to know your thoughts on the LinkedIn training session I conducted at OMA. Did you find the content valuable? I'm always looking for ways to improve and tailor my trainings. Let me know.
Wow.
Do you see the difference between one and the other? By the way, let me know what you do for a living in the chat. What industry are you in right now? I'm going to go in here and check to see what industry you guys are in. In the comments, let me know your industry. Let me see. Oh, let me refresh this here to see if you guys are commenting yet. Let me know what industry you're in. Also, let me know where you're dialing in from. I'm going to write that myself, that I'm in Clearwater, Florida. So I'm going to go in here. I'm going to click on comment and I'm going to type in Clearwater, Florida. You see that? I'm going to press post. I just wrote I'm in Clearwater, Florida, but you guys go ahead, give this a like, like a heart button or something, or maybe a light bulb or something. And then also write where you're dialing in from and let me know what you do for a living. I help LinkedIn users become thought leaders and influence their target market daily. Okay. And influence their target market daily. I love that. I help LinkedIn users become thought leaders and influence their target market daily. That's what I do for a living. I do that in 3 different ways. So I'm question— my question to you is, what do you do for a living? Go ahead, put that in the chat. I'm going to call out a few people that are engaging with me in the chat. Hopefully you guys could hear me. I can't hear you, but I can see you in the chat. That's how I can communicate with you. So go ahead and leave a comment and I will bring up those comments as they come in right now. It looks like Jim Peterson is here. Thank you, Jim, for leaving a comment. I really I really appreciate that. He's in St. Louis, Missouri, and he is a headhunter. A headhunter. That's what he does for a living. So I appreciate you sharing that with me. Go ahead in the comments, let me know what you do for a living. That'll give you some more exposure. Also give this a little light bulb here. All right, let's get back into this and I'll come check. So I can literally have a list of people that I want to check up on on a regular basis. So if you're a headhunter, maybe you want a list of HR directors. So So you just create a list of HR directors and then you hit them up by liking and commenting on their posts. In this case, I'm just going to write boom and I'm going to tag his name because this is a repost. But if you want, you can use Evvy AI to help you be able to drop comments on people's posts. So go ahead, let me know what you do for a living, where you're dialing in from. I'd love to hear from you guys in the chat. LinkedIn Live is a powerful platform that allows me to interact with you live. This is a conversation that we're, we're actually having this conversation right now in real time. This is not something that you have to wait for, you know, where I come later. This is a great time for you to be able to interact with me in real time. So I'm going to Ctrl-click on Jim's profile, and I'm actually going to save Jim's profile to Evvy AI. So the way that I do that, the way that I save a profile right here, you see it says save a profile. I'm going to click save profile. And now what I'm going to do is I'm going to actually save him into a particular list where I can review his posts later. So I'm going to do add to list. And in this case, I'm going to add him to engaged LinkedIn Live users. So you see he's engaged with my LinkedIn Live. So I just added him to that particular list. I'm also going to check out his recent activity. The way I check out his recent activity is I click on see recent activity. That allows me to be able to see all his recent activity using Evvy AI. It makes it really easy for me to be able to see his recent activity. If I want to go back to my saved profiles over here, I'll be able to see that because I saved Jim, now Jim is my engaged 2024 LinkedIn connections. See that? And he's a search consultant at Adco. And he's saved inside my Evvy AI so that I can always go back and check up his stuff. I can click on see recent activity and then it will just load his recent activity. I see the last time that he posted was, It was about a month ago, a few days ago. So Jim, I'd recommend posting every day. And someone like you that's really, really smart, what I would do is I would have Evie AI write the post. Okay, so I'm gonna say introduce, introduce. Let's see, I'm just gonna copy this information from your profile. I'm gonna tell it to write a post. Introduce my connection, Peter— Jim Peterson. In first person. So I'm going to go in here, I'm going to click on Post Writer, and I'm going to say, um, create an intro post for Jim Peterson. Here is some info. Okay, so I'm going to press GPT-4, I'm going to press Generate. Now if you're in the Post Writer, this allows you to write a post on LinkedIn really, really quickly. So typically to write a post, probably take you somewhere in the range of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, sometimes 15, 20 minutes to write a post. But with Evvy AI, it'll give you the first draft in just a matter of a few seconds. So you see, greetings LinkedIn community, I'm Jim Peterson, a seasoned search consultant with a knack for identifying top talent. So I want you to, I want you to post this, Jim. I just wrote a post for you that's a pretty good post, and I want you to take a moment and put a picture of yourself on LinkedIn and just go ahead and post that. I just sent him this post. This is actually a pretty good post, and this will help you be able to get more exposure on LinkedIn as an introduction. So include a picture of yourself and do this. And do you see how quickly I was able to write an introduction post? With Evvy AI, you have many different types of posts that you can create. You can ask a question, you can celebrate others, you can challenges and solutions, common myths, company updates, educational, encourage engagement, informational, introduction posts, networking, personal stories, story, polls, promotional, provide value, seek advice, share stories, thought leadership. So there's many different options of the types of posts that you can post with your goal. And then you can also choose a tone. So you can be assertive, authoritative, challenging, conversational, curious, educational, empathetic, curious, funny, happy, and persuasive. And then you can also install a persona. And be a specific person. So you can represent a specific company or a specific role that you have and create different personas for that as well. So if this is helpful, just write helpful in the chat. I'm curious to know who this is helpful for. Just write helpful in the chat. I'm going to click instead of most relevant, I'm going to click on most recent and it'll load the most recent comment. It looks like we have Vinicius. Vinicius, thank you. You own a staffing company. with over 100 engineers placed. That's amazing. We have Tamara here as well, commercial private banking, and we have Jim. These are the 3 people that are currently engaging on this post. If you guys haven't had a moment, hit the repost button so more people can see this LinkedIn Live. I'm going to stay here for another 10, 15 minutes or so answering questions that you guys might have. There are lots of questions that people ask me. About how to use artificial intelligence, and I want to stop sharing my screen for just a moment to encourage you. My name is Joe Apfelbaum. I'm the CEO of Ajax Union, and for a long time I was afraid of professional speaking. I was afraid of sharing my voice online. Now I'm on a mission to help a million people share their voice with artificial intelligence. Using AI is a game changer for me. I no longer have to fear about what to say because the AI can help me be able to say things in a meticulous way. I no longer have to be afraid of what to post because the AI can help me be able to write perfect posts every single time that all I have to do is edit. I am no longer afraid or worried about saying the perfect thing in a comment because the AI will draft a comment for me in seconds. I no longer have to be afraid to send the perfect direct message to somebody because the AI will help me draft the perfect direct message in my voice with my tone and my goal. If you want to be able to get exposure, if you want to build credibility, if you want to book more meetings, learning how to leverage LinkedIn together with AI is a game changer. And we are having something called the LinkedIn Influencer Summit. This is happening on January 17th. So type in influencer in the chat, and I will send you a link to the Influencer Summit. We are putting together 8 of the top LinkedIn influencers. We're bringing them together, and they're sharing how you can post, how you can engage, how you can message to be more successful on LinkedIn. All you got to do is go to influencersummit2024.com, influencersummit2024.com, and register for free. And you can attend this 3-hour informational workshop where we interview 8 of the top LinkedIn influencers in the world that will help you be more successful and help you be able to start leveraging LinkedIn in a more effective way in 2024. This is the 6th year that we're doing the LinkedIn Influencer Summit, and I'm so grateful that we're doing it. Now, some of you might be asking, Joe, how often do you go on LinkedIn Live? My goal is to go on LinkedIn Live 244 times this year. That means almost every single day I'm going to be going live on LinkedIn, sharing insights, sharing ideas, sharing thoughts, sharing inspiration, sharing challenges. And I'm here with you, talking with you. I'm not just talking to myself. This is not a conversation that I'm having with myself. It's a conversation that I'm having with you. So let me know, what is your number one challenge when it comes to using LinkedIn? Is it posting? Is it engaging? Is it messaging? Is it getting new connections? Is it getting responses? Is it getting engagement on your posts? What is the number one challenge that you face with LinkedIn? And people have all types of challenges when it comes to using LinkedIn. They have challenges around understanding how to optimize their profile. They have challenges around understanding how to be able to make sense out of things. So the LinkedIn Influencer Summit is on January 17th and it's live on Zoom. So if you go to www.influencersummit2024.com, I'm going to post a link as a response to Jim Peterson's question on LinkedIn. Integrated ChatGPT with custom form leaves, which manages brand drafts and pipelines. You should definitely check out evviai.com. Vinikas, I think you would really benefit from it. He said he owns a baby unicorn brand. We disrupted the market by providing solutions to eating disorder recovery for blind weigh-ins. The brand is a demonstration that we build scalable brands from scratch. I love that. Very cool. And Tamara, Senior Vice President, Group Director at Dime Community Bank. She's in commercial private banking and she provides white glove services. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for sharing, Tamara. So my question to you is, what is your number one challenge when it comes to using LinkedIn? Is it posting, engaging? Is it messaging? Is it connecting with the right connections? Is it getting results? Some people have a hard time getting results. I always say you either have reasons or you have results in life. You either have reasons or results. Often the lack of results that you have in life is because you have excuses and reasons why you're not getting results. Look at those excuses. Look at those reasons. There's usually something behind that that is related to mindset. Do you know what mindset is, by the way? Do you have a growth mindset or a fixed mindset? I want to take a moment to talk about the difference between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset, in case you don't know what it is. But first of all, I want to see you to say hello to this gentleman over here. We are on LinkedIn Live, and this gentleman just attended a OMA conference. Can you tell everyone the value that you got from attending the conference? Not only the camaraderie, together with everybody, and just generally getting ideas. Manhaj is here to help connect with others, and I want to thank you for that. We were on a boat together and we had such a great social time. Can you tell everybody how they can find your company and how they can do business with you?
Absolutely.
You can find us at Arnoff.com. We're located in the Hudson Valley in New York. We've got a national reach. Thank you so much. I appreciate you so much. Thank you so much.
Bye.
So as you can see, these professionals are just rocking out. They're amazing. That are getting supported and helping each other out. Do you want to share with us what you got from the OMA conference? We're on LinkedIn Live right now.
Oh, LinkedIn Live, how nice. Um, it's a great networking experience, especially with the companies that we're with. Um, it allows you the opportunity to build your own markets with other vendors near the area. So it's, um, it's a sales summit, a little different than the other conference they had, but it's a great way to meet the people that you're dealing with on the phone, put faces to people, and it gives you that ability to know when you put a face to somebody that they can do the job for you.
So what did you think about the LinkedIn training that happened yesterday?
Your LinkedIn training was amazing. I learned so much, my man. So looking forward to putting together, especially with the AI. It's kind of creepy what it comes up with sometimes, I ain't gonna lie. But if you got nothing to hide, then you're okay, right?
Exactly.
Thanks, Joe.
All right, thank you so much. As you can see, people are getting tons of value and there are some pretty amazing folks over here. Getting to know them, building real relationships is the key. But We talked about mindset. So let's get into mindset for just a minute over here. I want to take a minute to talk about the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset. So what is a fixed mindset versus a growth mindset? A fixed mindset is when somebody thinks a certain way and they're stuck in their way of thinking. They're literally just stuck. Hey, what's going on? Do you want to do a testimonial for me? So we'll have a break. Okay, okay, you're the best. Thank you.
You're welcome.
A fixed mindset is when you believe things in a certain way and you're not going to change. It's like the saying, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. You ever heard that saying before? You can't take— you can't teach an old dog new tricks. That's a fixed mindset. A growth mindset is when you know you have new neural pathways and you're always learning new things. And you know that you can learn new tricks. You know that you can learn new hacks. You know that you can improve and you can change and you can take your life and the life of the people around you to the next level. That's a growth mindset. Do you have a growth mindset or do you have a fixed mindset? If you're committed to knowing that you have a growth mindset, then you're committed to personal development. You're committed to growth. I want you to say, I have a growth mindset, in the chat below. I want you to comment and say, I have a growth mindset, because when you declare that you have a growth mindset, that's how you generate those thoughts and those habits of growth mindset. In order for you to be able to have a growth mindset, you need to declare that you have a growth mindset. But you also need to take the right actions that will help you prove to yourself because we need proof in order to establish our beliefs, our rooted beliefs deep down inside us. We need proof. How do you create proof? By doing the right things, by starting to read books. Is it true that if you have a growth mindset, you have to read books and you have to work on yourself? Like, do you have a fixed mindset or a growth mindset?
Growth mindset.
And what's the difference between a fixed one and a growth one in your opinion? Being a CEO with 100 employees, tell us.
You know, I think it comes back to me, infinite game, finite game. You know, look, our organizations and our families and those that we love are going to live on after us. And so having a growth mindset kind of puts you in a mentality where it's not only— you're not only reading the books for your own personal growth, you also are trying to rub off on your teams and your industry and your families and your friends.
And the people in your church and your community.
Exactly right.
Wow, this man is The tallest man in the conference and also a giant of a human being. What did you think about the presentation that we did?
Incredible.
The LinkedIn training. Tell the world what you thought about the LinkedIn training.
Incredible. I came up to Joe. We're going to continue discussions. I want him to come into my organization. I want him to come in to a number of other organizations that I'm a part of just to level everyone up. So, if you're listening to this, it's a no-brainer. This was impromptu, by the way.
This is impromptu.
It's amazing. You're so good at this.
You're such a thought leader.
Thanks, brother.
Appreciate you, man.
I love you.
Right back at you.
Building real relationships with people, getting to know people, like really getting to know people. Like, do you know your LinkedIn connections? Do you really know who they are? I wrote a post before this video. Go later and check out my posts. I recommend you just binge my posts. Just go through them. Look at all my recent posts. Go through them one at a time. Look at them, read them, leave comments, like binge watch them, spend some time. I spend a tremendous amount of time sharing on LinkedIn and inspiring people because I want to be able to change lives. So take the time and look at what I'm doing so that you can learn from what I'm doing and you can also do it yourself. I want you to do it yourself as well. If you are committed to being a thought leader on LinkedIn, just write, I'm committed to being a thought leader. Not everybody's committed to being a thought leader. Not everybody's committed to sharing. Not everybody's committed to inspiring. Not everybody's committed to be making a difference. And I want to know if you are committed to being a thought leader. What is a thought leader? Someone who shares their thoughts, someone who leads with their thoughts, someone who's willing to share their opinions, to get out of their comfort zone. She said, true, this is so random. The last time I posted and quoted you, I popped on your live and I quoted you this AM. Love the guest appearance. Okay, awesome, awesome, awesome. Jim commented. Awesome, guys, go check out the comments. Go check out the people that are in the comments and build a relationship with them. Connect with them, get to know them. These are engaged LinkedIn users. I'm going to ask Mr. Johnson over here a question. Mr. Johnson, can I ask you a question on LinkedIn Live?
Sure.
What did you think about the OMA conference as the CEO of Spirit Movers?
I thought it was an opportunity to meet and network several new partners. Learned a lot about LinkedIn and AI.
Did you like that conference? Did you like the meeting about LinkedIn?
I did. I think You could have a second career as a stand-up comedian if you want.
Thank you for saying that.
I like how you engage individuals. You bring us all in together. And, and, uh, yeah, it was, it was a, it was a good time.
And you are one of the most amazing, most hospitable people. Thank you for, uh, getting dinner for us. It was so nice of you. Thank you so much. And I got to meet your son.
Yeah.
And your daughter-in-law.
Aren't they amazing?
They are just the most amazing people. How did you, how did you pick such angels as children? Tell me, how did you pick such angels?
Well, I have no credit.
He picked Sarah.
So that's all on him.
Okay.
But how did you pick him? How did you bring such an angel into your life? Like, how did you do that? How did you attract that? How do you manifest having the best possible child that is going to take over your company as second generation?
You got to give my wife a lot of that credit because she's the one who was home raising him while I was out, you know, trying to build a business. So yeah, he just— I always say he's the smartest, smartest guy in the room. No offense, Joe.
No, no, no, he's smart. Yeah, I would say he's, he's such a growth mindset. Such a learner, dedicated to personal development.
Leader. He's just got natural leadership ability.
And he's going to take your company to a whole nother level.
He is. And I think he's going to develop his leadership skills and it's going to be more than just the business. I think he's a community leader, church leader. He's going to be leading in a lot of areas.
So I'm so humbled that I got to meet him and I'm so humbled that I got to meet you.
Thank you.
Thank you. I'll be in touch with you. I'm in Florida all the time, so I'll see you soon.
Yeah.
Nice to see you.
All right, thank you. Real relationships, that's what it's about. It's not about spraying and praying. It's about connecting with real people one at a time. Do you connect with your connections one at a time? Do you get to know their passions? Do you get to know their hobbies? Do you get to know their family? Do you get to know what they're about? Do you understand their business? Do you understand their challenges? I want to encourage you to get to know your connections, whether it's at a conference, Whether it's you calling them up, whether it's you doing an event and inviting 10 connections to that event. It could be a virtual event. Did you know that you can create a Zoom, invite 10 of your connections to that Zoom, and build real relationships on that Zoom by asking real questions and getting people to know each other? Be that center of influence. Be that thought leader. Lead with your thoughts. You can do this. It's not rocket science. I want to start a thought leaders community this People, let me know. Only so write thought leaders in the chat and I will send you a link to apply. Again, it's just for 16 people who want to be able to share thought leadership ideas. And if you want to be able to be part of that community and also learn and grow, let me know. I'm more than happy to share it with you. Anyway, I go on a sales call. I have five calls every single day. Not to go. I don't want to go viral. I want us the one right one thousand people to see me a thousand times a year. So hit that repost button. If you see a repost button, hit that repost button. Give it a like. Leave a comment and let me know what you thought about this live. Mention somebody that you think. Should see this video. Somebody else, they see it. The CEO of the biggest company in this conference that this is the best prospect for me. This is not a tagged him in a post. Within 10 minutes, he walked over to me and said, "Why did you tag me in the post?" I'd love to talk to you. The prospect came to me. ChatGPT, out of the 111 people, told me this is the person. The president of this company is the person you need to speak to. I tagged him in a post and he walked over. Learn how to mention people. Learn how to build real relationships. It's a game changer. With that, I want to say thank you very much for joining me. I really appreciate you. And I'm gonna go back inside, and I'm gonna have a sales call, and I'll see you guys soon. Check out this amazing group of people here. Look at this.
You brought it up. You don't have to. No, you don't have to because you're not gonna win if you do that, and you're gonna spend way too much time. Start with those. If you win it, then you go have a conversation. This is how we both make money. The buzzword of this whole thing is communication, right? And we just talked about communication. Use your people in this group. Yeah, it's great. We got to be building. I know what's going to happen. I did it. I've done it for years. 2 weeks from now, you're going to be in your daily. You're going to have this. You're going to run around. You got your kids at soccer. You know, you're going to forget like to do that. You're not going to call Anthony. You're not going to call David. You're not going to call Brian. Talk to people. Talk to people in your own organization. I don't. The only things I've learned, I've learned from like Keith Sharp and Steve Delaney, guys in my organization that are smarter than me. I communicate, talk to people. That's the only way to learn. You have a ton of experts in the room with you, by you. Talk to them. Call Pinkley. Call Doug. Call anybody. Use Oma. Use other partners. We all want to help because it's good for all of us. That's the great part about Oma. If Brian wins business, I win business. So if he needs my help, which probably doesn't, I will be happy to help him. But if he wins business, that means I get business and that Amy gets business. So let's do that. Communicate. Talk.
Use your resources.
There's a ton of knowledge and information here and smart people. And you're not going to come to one of these, you know, okay, I'm going to go to Phoenix and I know what I'm going to study at now. You're not going to be the expert after one of these meetings. We're not handing you this little book that gives you every single ABCDE because that's not how business works. And your customers are all different than anybody else's customers. Learning a little bit at a time Is how you can go from not doing any national accounts to Johnson's or Miller Solutions. And also, by the way, I want to— we change, things change. And Brian said earlier about the age of our clients.
