Welcome to another edition of LinkedIn Live with Joe Apfelbaum. Today we're doing episode number 23. As you know, my goal is to go live 244 times this year. And as hard as it is to be able to go live every day, I got to make time to do it. And so I'm doing it. I'm making the time to do it. In today's episode, I want to talk about the benefit of using artificial intelligence together with LinkedIn. A lot of people don't know about how much time that you can actually save by using AI with LinkedIn. There are many activities that you need to do on a daily basis on LinkedIn, like posting, engaging, and messaging. Those activities will give you credibility, exposure, and help you be able to book more meetings. Somebody called me up today, a longtime client, and he said, Joe, I'm launching a new business. And in my previous business, LinkedIn was not important. But in this business, LinkedIn is very important because it's a B2B company. And I need to be more successful. So what do I need to do? Who do I need to follow? I said, what you need to do is you need to use this tool called Evy AI, evyai.com, and then you need to find all the influencers in your field and you need to save them to your account. Then what you need to do is use artificial intelligence together with your personas to leave comments in your voice on their posts. He's like, oh my God, that's amazing. Most people are not even commenting on any posts, and most people that are posting are not getting comments. If I can leave comments on people's posts, they'll notice me. I said, not only that, when you reach out to them via email or via phone, they'll know who you are. I know who leaves comments on my posts. So if you call me up out of the blue and you want to do business with me and you say you've been following me and you're a longtime fan of mine and blah, blah, blah, and I never saw you in the comments and I have no idea who you are, then chances are I'm not going to have that much trust with you. But if you want true credibility on LinkedIn, leaving comments on people's posts is one of the best things that you can do to get credibility. And then I said, start using Sales Navigator. He's like, I don't really have a budget for Sales Navigator right now. I said, you can get a free version of Sales Navigator. Did you know that you can use Sales Navigator at no cost to you and try it out for several weeks? And if you get someone to recommend you, you can even try it out for 2 months straight without paying them a penny. So I'm curious to know where in the world you're dialing in from right now. Leave this LinkedIn Live comment. Let me know where in the world you're dialing in from. I'm in New Jersey. New Jersey. So I'm gonna write New Jersey in the comments. And I'm also gonna share my screen and walk you through how you can start leveraging AI. Now, many of you don't know this, but we have a Google Chrome extension. that allows you to be able to use artificial intelligence with LinkedIn. And today I'm actually going to manually install the extension and show you exactly how to do that so that you get the latest update of the extension. I'm going to go in here, I'm going to share my window, my LinkedIn. I'm actually going to share my entire screen. Let's see, window, entire screen, entire screen. All right, so you should be able to see my entire screen right now. Let me know if you can see my whole screen or not in the comments below. I'm going to refresh this page over here just to see if this works properly. Hopefully you can see my entire screen now. Now the, the tool that I'm using right now is called restream.io. This is a tool right over here. It looks a little funky right now because I'm showing you a picture of it. You can check your audio settings to see which audio you're using. So over here the input is the webcam. I'm going to change the input into Let's see, communications array. Oh, let me change the input to this microphone. I'm going to turn on the microphone and change the input to the microphone so it sounds a little bit better. Okay, so I just connected to the RODECaster Pro. Let me see if I can change the output to the RODECaster. Okay, so now the microphone is RODECaster Pro. Is this better? Can you hear me a little bit better right now? Hopefully you can hear me a little bit better. I didn't realize that my microphone was turned off and I was using the webcam mic, which right over here. Instead, now I'm using this, uh, RODECaster Pro mic, so hopefully you can see me a little bit better. All right, let's get back into LinkedIn. I'm going to show you how to manually install the Evvy AI extension. Let me see who left comments over here. I'm going to go from most relevant to most recent, which shows me all the recent comments. It looks like Cresta Moore, she wrote, hi Joe, uh, government sales at JK Moving. And Cresta, I'm really looking forward to doing a presentation in Washington, DC in February. So I'm going to be coming down to your organization and doing a LinkedIn presentation. So thank you so much for showing up. Now, as you can see, I don't have the Google, um, the extension right now. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to evviai.com. I'm going to click on the blog of Evvii AI. It's going to say how to manually install the Evvii AI Google Chrome extension. I'm going to click on that. And the first step that you need to do is it says watch this video. It says create an account at app.ebai.com. So I'm going to make sure I have an account and I'm logged in. So I do have an account, I'm logged in, everything's good. Then it's going to say download the Google Chrome extension manually right over here. So I'm going to download the Chrome extension manually here. It's going to download the extension. Once I click on this little link over here, it'll download the extension very quickly. So I can go into Let's see what happens here. I can go into my folder, um, like my downloads, and it should download. So you see it just downloaded over here. Now I'm going to right-click on this download and I'm going to extract it. I'm going to press Extract All. I'm going to call this, um, EVY AI 32. Okay, and I'm going to hit Extract, and it's going to extract everything from that zip file into this particular folder. Okay, so now I have it downloaded. I downloaded the zip file and I have it available right over here. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to copy this path so that I have it: C:\Users\Joe\Downloads\evi32. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to go into my settings right over here, and then I'm going to go to Extensions and Manage Extensions. Okay, so I clicked on Extensions, Manage Extensions. You see I have many, many extensions. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to turn on developer mode on the top right corner of the screen. Now that develop mode— developer mode is turned on, I'm going to press Load Unpacked on the top left corner of the screen, and then I'm going to click on Downloads. I'm going to click on Evie AI 32, and I'm going to press Select Folder. Now I just installed the Evie AI extension manually. Now I'm going to pin it by clicking on the extensions are, and I'm going to click on the pin icon, and I just pinned this extension. When I click on it, it should take me to linkedin.com, and then when I click on it again, it should show me that I logged in. Okay, good. Now I'm logged in. I have all my stuff here, and if I want to leave comments on people's posts, I just scroll down here. I see Jocelyn posted something. I press comment. I see the Evvii icon. I press generate, and now I have the icon that works, and I'm able to quickly generate comments on people's posts in a matter of seconds. This tool saves me so much time. It helps me so much. And if you're not using it, I highly recommend starting to use these tools because it's really a game changer in terms of the speed that you're able to leave comments on people's posts. Now, I'm going to stop sharing my screen right now because I want to encourage you a little bit to think about LinkedIn in a bit of a different way than most people think about LinkedIn. LinkedIn is the world's largest professional social network. There's 1 billion people that are on LinkedIn right now, but most people are not using it correctly. They're just showing up and maybe they're even hoarding connections. That means they're adding connections, they're not doing anything with those connections. I want you to know that if you want exposure, if you want credibility, if you want to book meetings, if you want to make more money, if you want to get more popular on this platform, you need to take the following 3 actions every Every single day. Number one is you need to be posting. Post one day, post twice a week. If you can't post twice a week, post once a week. You can use our AI tool that will help craft posts that are in line with LinkedIn's algorithm. Means that simply they give you a hook, they give you main points, they give you a call to action, they give you hashtags, and they format it in a way that it's really easy for people to read. Now you can also add a persona so that we know exactly how to be able to craft the post that is in line with who you are and in your voice, with your personality, with your tone, and so on. So try it out today. You can try it out for free. You don't need to install a Chrome extension to try out the Post Writer. And if you don't have ideas, well, our tool will also give you ideas. You just give it a topic, any topic like networking, and it will come up with a bunch of ideas for you. Then you press generate posts on any of the ideas, and within just a few seconds, a post will be generated. Realize that AI is not here to replace you. AI is here to enhance you. It'll help you be able to draft posts very, very quickly. It'll help you be able to draft comments, draft direct messages, draft connection notes. It'll help you be able to get a top voice badge. And if you want the replay of our last AI webinar, we have a webinar teaching you how to use our Evvy AI tool. If you'd like a link to that replay, just write replay in the chat and I will send you a link to the replay of our last webinar. It was 1 hour long and it was really, really powerful. Now, as always, I love reviewing my recent posts on LinkedIn. So if you want to check out my recent posts with me, let's tune right into my computer. I'm going to share my screen again. I'm going to click on window this time instead of my whole screen, and hopefully you can see my window here. This is what my LinkedIn Live looks like. I'm going to click on Me. I'm going to click on View Profile. And now what I'm going to do is I'm going to scroll down to this section over here where it says my posts, my recent activity. So as you can see, I have a lot of recent activity over here. So I just posted a poll. This poll asks people how often you post on LinkedIn— daily, weekly, monthly, or once in a while. If I click on the votes, I can actually see who voted on my poll. And I can send them a message. So these are the people that are committed to posting on a daily basis. These are the people that are committed to posting on a weekly basis. These are the people that are just never posting on LinkedIn. And so what I can do is I can say, okay, if I have a solution for people that post on a daily basis, I can reach out to all these people. If I have a solution for people that post on a weekly basis, I can reach out to these people. If I have a solution for people that post once in a while, these are— this is the solution. So you can actually segment it based on your solution. If you want to see all my other polls, you just click on this hashtag called #MojoPolls. And then you'll see a list of all the different polls that I've created over time. So this is the poll from today. This is another poll, another poll, another poll. As you can see, I post polls on a regular basis, and you can see all the different types of polls that I've been posting. And I can always go back and see, okay, who's using desktop, who's using mobile, who's using both. And I can actually see all these people over here, and then I can communicate with them and and build a relationship with them if I have a desktop solution for LinkedIn. So that's really, really great thinking about how to be able to connect with people, how to be able to segment people out, how to be able to start a product using this tool functionality, this poll functionality on LinkedIn. So if you're not using polls, I highly recommend you start using polls right away. Now I love doing a spotlight with one of my connections. If you don't do spotlights for your connections, I highly recommend you go ahead and do some spotlights. If you'd like me to spotlight you, just click spotlight in the chat and I will spotlight you as one of my connections. I'm going to spotlight Krista real quick. Look at Krista's profile. She's a first-degree connection. She does government sales at JK Moving Services. I'm going to take a look at the last time she posted. It looks like she reposted, reposted, reposted. Now realize that when you repost something, It's not the same as actually posting something. You're reposting somebody else's stuff. That just gives that profile a little bit more, but it doesn't actually do anything for your connections. So if you want to be able to get more value, you need to start posting on a regular basis, not just reposting. It's much easier to repost, and it's okay to repost. I recently reposted something. I'll show you what I reposted. I recently reposted something on LinkedIn. If I go here to my activity and I click on show all posts, and then you start scrolling down a little bit, you'll notice that I do repost once in a while. For example, I reposted this. Stephanie said, 11 years ago, Joe Apfelbaum made one of the most important email introductions that ended up having the biggest impact on business, on our business. And as business owners, she said, and as business owners, Joe and I were speaking at an event in New Jersey, and after the programming concluded, we had the opportunity to get to know each other. We learned about our businesses, and then Joe immediately shared that he wanted to introduce myself to Courtney, myself and Courtney to Carrie Kerpin, who also owned a media agency. And then boom, and it really helped them a lot. And she even put a screenshot of this. So I definitely reposted this. This was a great thing for me to repost. And then I even started a post about that, and I didn't even actually publish that post yet, but I have a post ready to go about that. So I have lots of different posts. Um, that I do, and I do post on a regular basis. So I highly recommend you go through my posts to kind of identify ideas for yourself. So over here I featured Tina Larson as one of my connections, um, and so I'm constantly creating posts on LinkedIn. So definitely if you need post ideas, go here, or you can go into our tool Evy AI, app.evyai.com, click on Idea Generator, and you can come up with ideas. Moving and logistics. So if I do moving and logistics and I pick, let's say, the Joe Apfelbaum persona, and I press generate, it's going to create ideas based on the concept of moving and logistics and the concept of Joe Apfelbaum, who Joe Apfelbaum is, my entire persona, which you can go to this section here called personas and check out the persona. So the future of moving and logistics, how AI and machine learning are revolutionizing logistics, the power of personal branding in the moving industry, a CEO's perspective. I'm going to hit generate post here just to kind of show you how quickly this tool can generate a complete post with a hook, with main points, with a call to action, with hashtags. This is worth a lot of money. We don't charge a lot of money. As a matter of fact, you can use this for free. Look at this. Look at, look at what it says. And, and I like to generate the post, and then I like to make a video out of it. So how do I make a video out of it? I'll show my face front and center just like this, and I'll say the following. Hello, have you ever stopped to think about the impact of personal branding in the moving industry? As a CEO who has witnessed the transformative power of personal branding firsthand, I'm here to share some insights that will leave you inspired and ready to take your professional journey to new heights. In an industry that's all about logistics and efficiency, it's easy to overlook the importance of personal branding, but let me tell you, it can make all the difference in the world. Personal branding is not about having a catchy tagline or a polished LinkedIn profile. That's important. But it's about showcasing your unique value proposition and building trust with your audience. Why is personal branding so crucial in the moving and logistics industry? Well, let me break it down for you. In a highly competitive market where customers have countless options, personal branding sets you apart from the crowd. It allows you to establish yourself as a thought leader, as a go-to expert in your field. Imagine a scenario where a potential client is looking for a moving company or they're looking for a relocation company and they stumble upon your LinkedIn profile. What do they see? Do they see a faceless corporation or do they see a passionate individual who genuinely cares about their needs? Personal branding humanizes your business and makes it relatable and trustworthy. It creates a connection that goes beyond transactional. But personal branding isn't just about attracting clients. It's about attracting top talent too. In an industry where skilled professionals are in high demand, showcasing your personal brand can be a magnet for talented individuals who want to be part of something special. Your personal brand becomes a beacon that attracts like-minded individuals who share your values and your vision. So, how can you harness the power of personal branding in the moving industry? Here are a few key insights to get you started. Number 1, authenticity is key. Be true to yourself and let your personality shine through. People connect with real people, not generic corporate entities. Number 2, consistency breeds trust. Be consistent with your messaging and visual identity across all the platforms. This builds familiarity and trust within your audience. And number 3, share your expertise. Position yourself as an industry expert by sharing valuable insights and knowledge. This establishes credibility and positions you as the go-to resource. Now take a moment and think about everything that I just shared in just the past few minutes. Did I write that? You saw the AI write all that. I'll share my screen right now and I'll show you exactly what I'm talking about. You saw the AI write this, but what you may have not realized is not only can you share this as a post on LinkedIn, you can also read it and use it as a video on LinkedIn. And I'm going to be sharing clips of what I said that AI edited automatically for me. If this is amazing, write amazing in the chat. I'd love to see you guys chatting with me here on this LinkedIn Live. I'm going to click on comments and see if anybody else wants to be featured or sponsored or spotlighted. So go ahead and drop a comment right now. Let me know what city you're dialing in from. Let me know what you think about creating content with artificial intelligence. It's really, really insightful. Now, somebody recently asked me, Joe, how do I search for all my first-degree connections on LinkedIn? So let's say, for example, I'm looking for a guy named Matt. I'm going to search the word Matt, and I want to look through my current connections. I'm going to click on People, and then I'm going to subfilter with the connection subfilter of first degree. I'm going to press Show Results, and I see I have 311 people with the name Matt. Now, if I want to break it down by location, I'm going to say, okay, show me all the Matts in New York City that I'm connected to. So now it's going to show me from the 300 I have available, it breaks it down to just 104. Now I could scroll down and kind of go through this list or I can filter these people in a little more because there's so many different filters. So you see there's all filters over here. I can do it based on the company they've worked for, based on the school, the industry that they're in, their language, what they're open to, what services they provide and so on. So this is a really great way for you to kind of go through and see who you know, who you don't know with a particular name. I love going through this list. I'm curious to know how many Matts are you currently connected to on LinkedIn? If you're not connected to any Matts on LinkedIn, maybe it's time to connect with a Matt or 2. So for example, if I want to see this person named Matt Hill and I want to review his profile, I'll notice he's missing a verification badge on his profile. I noticed that he's missing call to action. I'll notice that he has activity, but he doesn't necessarily have the right posts featured on his profile. He needs to do that. I noticed he hasn't posted in many, many months. I would recommend that he uses Evvy AI to post on LinkedIn. Um, his About section is nice, but it's missing key information about who he helps and how he helps them. And with Evvy AI, we actually have a profile optimizer right here where you write a little bit about your company, you write your tone, your goal, and your persona, and then you hit Generate. And I recommend using GPT-4 and it will generate an entire section for you that teaches people exactly who you are. And I'm going to do this for him right over here. I'm going to copy this, and you can do this yourself. Just grab some information from LinkedIn, copy and paste it in there. I'm going to copy and paste it into Evie AI here. As you can see, I'm just pasting information here, his experience. Okay, so for a year and 7 months, he's doing SPAT Media. I'm going to copy this right over here, paste it. See that, what I'm doing? I'm also going to go to their, uh, company page, see if there's some more information over here on their company page. I'm going to grab this just like this, and then we are ready to go. And I'm going to press generate, and it's going to generate it. It makes it really, really simple. It's simple as that. Simple like a pimple. Simple like a dimple. Makes it really simple. So my goal as I'm wrapping up this LinkedIn Live today is to teach you the step-by-step process that you need to take to be more successful on LinkedIn. And part of it is optimizing your profile, but part of it is getting more exposure, building more credibility, and booking more meetings. As you can see, I prepared a beautiful, beautiful thing for him, a beautiful profile for him right over here. And this actually gets saved into my recent activity. So this is all the activity that I have going on on my profile. And so you can actually create, generate content and save it to your activity. And then with Evy AI, you'll be more successful. If you want to become a thought leader on LinkedIn, if you want to be more successful, tune into my next webinar. Go to evyai.com/webinar. I'm going to be talking about how to create a top voice badge on your profile. So sign up to our next free webinar and And if you want our previous webinar or replay, just write replay in the chat and I will go ahead and share that replay. I gotta go.
