Create a Private Facebook Account

Joe Apfelbaum shows how to create a Facebook account with a fake name and disposable email, then lock down every privacy setting to "Only me" or "Nobody" so the account is invisible. He demonstrates joining groups like "motivation" without exposing any personal information.

So let's say you don't have a Facebook account, right? You don't have a Facebook because you don't want to be on Facebook. It's annoying. So this— but you do want to join a group on Facebook. That's really important, right? So this is what you do. You go here and you sign up for this, right? So I'm going to do— I'm going to call myself Mojo Apfelbaum, and I'm going to put in a number. I'm going to put an email, mojoapfelbaum@gmail.com. Mojo Apfelbaum. We'll just do it at ajaxunion.com because it'll be easy. This way I don't have to create the Gmail. Okay, mojoapplebaum@ajaxunion.com. Password, we'll call it, uh, something like fake account and then a number. Okay, we'll make my birthday My actual birthday so I don't forget it, but with a different year. We'll make it, let's see, 1950. Does that sound like a good year to be born? 1947, 1950, I want 1940. I was born in 1940. I'm an old guy. Okay, I'm a male, I'm an old guy. Okay. I'm a pretty old guy. All right, boom. All right, now I go here, sign up. Okay, we require everyone to have a name they use in everyday life. What's wrong with Mojo? Mojo's not a real name. Okay, so I got to create a real name. Mo. Okay, we'll do Mo. Sign up. Let's see what happens. All right, so now they want me to enter a code in my email, so let me go grab the code. So I got the code, I'm just going to pop it in here, press continue, and now I'm in here. Now I have a Facebook account. You successfully created mojoapfelbaum@ajaxunion.com. Okay, so now I have a new account. Now I can skip all this stuff, I don't need to worry about any of this stuff. I go to home, and now I go here. This is my account looks like. My account. So now I want to go to the privacy settings so nobody finds me. So where do I go to go to the privacy settings so nobody finds me? Let's see where my settings are. Settings. All right, general name. Da da da da. So you go to privacy right here. And over here you could do nobody. Nobody finds me. Only me. Okay, you don't want anyone to see anything. So limit past posts. You can literally go through here. Who can send you requests? Nobody. You do friends of friends and you have no friends, so it doesn't matter. Who can your friends see? Who can see your friends list? Only me. You literally make this completely private. Who can look up your email address? Nobody. Only friends, and you're not gonna have any friends, so that's fine. Who could look up your phone number? Only friends. Do you want search engines to find you? No. Turn off. Okay, this will keep you super private. And then you could even go in here and change all the settings here that don't allow anybody to do anything, but for now Location is off, that's good. Blocking is for the people that you want to block, and so on. Public posts, who could follow me? Only friends could follow you. Public post comment, let's see, public, only friends, nobody, and then Friends. Okay, so this keeps things super private. Now you're super private. Nobody could find you. Nobody can connect with you. Like, you're literally— you literally broke it down here. And you can go through here and you could see all these different things. You can actually set high security alerts and so on and so forth. Facebook information privacy. Okay, now you can use Facebook. You're not going to have anything here, but you can go to the groups, groups/motivation, and it asks you for this. Let's see, it's asking you for this. Skip step. Okay, great. So I skipped the step. Now you go to groups/motivation. And you could log into the mode. You can actually request to join this group. You can actually answer the questions, and now it's boom—you're done. Leave page. Okay, and the same thing with any other group that you want to join. You go to the group, and now you have an account, and this is the only thing that you have going on. Makes sense? If it makes sense, let me know. Thank you.
