Thank you so much for downloading the goal setting framework. My name is Joe Apfelbaum, and I am so excited to be sharing this mini framework with you. So here are the instructions. Once you download the PDF, print a copy so that you can fill in the PDF. Step number 1 is name your goal. Give your goal a creative name. Why? Because you want to be motivated to do the goal and It needs to be a benefit. The name should be something positive and motivating. Now keep in mind that the goal has to be a SMART goal. It has to be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound. If it's not a SMART goal, you're probably not going to end up getting it done because it's not specific, some general thing. Step number 2 is decide on a realistic deadline for the goal. It needs to be a definite date. In the calendar that you can measure against. And step 3 is create a list of everything you need to do in order to get the goal complete. Brainstorm a whole list, everything that you need. Step 4 is take the brainstorm and organize it into sequential steps. What goes first? What goes second? How long does each step take? And then step 5, make sure to make it a priority to work on it every day. And get started now. Get started. Even the smallest task that you can do is going to help you be able to get closer to making your dreams a reality. Now, there are 2 more things that you can do here. Number one is you can date and sign it because you're committing to actually doing the date by the deadline and all the little tasks. And another thing is you can send one to your mentor and you can send a copy to your accountability partner. And this way you put their names on there. This guy knows he has to hold you accountable and you have an agreement with him to make sure that you're going to meet the milestones of the tasks because you set very specific milestones, the daily actions, the things that you're going to do. So go ahead, take your most important goal, print this out, fill it out, send it to your accountability buddy, send it to your mentor, sign it, and make sure that you make 2018 Or whatever year this is, the best year ever.
