So what I'm doing here is called Google+ On Air. And I wonder if anybody else can join. I think that nobody can join. Maybe they're just viewers. I wonder if anybody else can join this. I don't think anybody else could join, but I wonder how many viewers I have and what else I can do. Let me go to my YouTube channel right now and just see how this works. Let's see. My profile. Hangout Guitar Eve. No, youtube.com. Let's see, channel. Let's see if I can see my own channel. My profile, my Google, my channel. Let's see, YouTube Live, live now. That's awesome. This just shows me live. I wonder if I can view this live.
Testing.
Oh my gosh, it's crazy. This is crazy. Let me go on Facebook. Check me out live now. I have zero viewers. That's very sad. Yo, if you could see this and you're on Facebook, just like my post so I could see who this is. Right now it says there's one viewer, but I can't see who the viewer is. And I wonder if you can click on the chat button and chat with me. I'm just testing out on the air. Oh, there you go, Matt. Thank you, Matt. I wonder if you could chat on the Google+ page. I wonder if you could send me a message through the Google+ chat button. There is a chat button there. There's a group chat. I guess you can only chat within the group.
That's awesome.
That's awesome. But I can't see who's viewing. I can just see there's one viewer. That's pretty cool. Sitting here in the office testing out Google's technology. Really excited to be doing that. And I'm glad there's one viewer. Let's sing a song. Let's sing a nice— It looks like I have 2 people now. So if you're the second person that just looked at it, like my Facebook post. I'll be able to see that you liked it, so go ahead, like it. I'll be able to see it in real time. It'll just come up and it'll show me that you liked it. If you're playing it on— within Facebook, if you hit play within Facebook, and I'm not sure if you're able to do that, but if you did that and I'm live on your Facebook through Google+ On Air, then like my Facebook post so I see that it's you, because I see 2 viewers watching now. Oh, it's not live on Facebook, it's on YouTube. Pretty cool. Thank you, Herschel. So it's actually a really, really cool technology that Google came up with a couple months ago.
Whoa!
Things are happening. Somebody wrote, you're welcome. On AjaxUnion.com's website from Brooklyn, New York. So it's a really great technology that what happens is you can start videocasting yourself or create a video that'll be live on YouTube, streaming on YouTube in real time. And you could share that across your whole social network. On Google+, you can actually invite other people to join also.
Oh, cool.
So if you guys have Google+, And you want to actually be in this video, comment on my Facebook with your Google+ profile, and I'll invite you— or with your email address, and I'll invite you. You can't comment live on your video. I wonder if you can comment live on the video, but let me go to— Or just send me a Facebook message that's with your email address, and I'll pop that in to invite people. And you'll come up live now on your camera, and you'll also be live on my YouTube channel if you want to be live. YouTube.com slash— or just youtube.com, and then go to my video page. Click on my face, click on my channel, and it says live now. This is watched. Live now. Yeah, so let me just see if I can see comments on this. Hide activity. I don't see any comments on there. I'm sure you can comment on— I'm definitely sure you can comment on the video. I just don't know how that would work. But if— oh, I have 3 viewers now. So I have Matt, I have Harishal, and who's the third one? Who's number 3? If you're number 3, like my Facebook so that I know it's you. I'm trying out this new technology called Google+ Hangouts. Google+ On Air.
I'm here.
It's called Google+ Hangouts On Air, and it allows me to broadcast live. Oh, one person left. OK, somebody clicked and then they left. Oh, it looks like I got a new subscriber on my YouTube, so that is awesome. Let me see who subscribed. I have three subscribers now. Zalman Minkowitz. Hooray, Zalman! You're probably watching me right now. Hi, Zalman. Just give a little shout out to Zalman. Zalman has a company called Mink Jewelers. So if anybody watching this live on the internet needs jewelry, they should check out Mink Jewelers. On Facebook, right, Salman?
Awesome.
Oh, Matt said that my— I gotta tune my guitar. So luckily I have a little tuner up here.
Let's see.
So let's see. Oh, I gotta, I gotta tune this baby. I'm just tuning my guitar. Be with me, whoever's watching. I'm gonna turn it that way.
Is that good?
You like that?
You like that better? Let me turn off the tuner so I don't waste the batteries.
Don't waste too many strings.
I mean, this G's flat.
The G is flat, the G is flat, the G, the G, the G, the A is Not bad.
Now the C. Oh, Matt thinks that the G is flat bush. The G is flat, but it's much better. Thank you. And my battery's dying on my phone, so I'm gonna have to charge it.
Wow.
This is how I always like check if the guitar is tuned without putting anything up here. I just hit the first one, I go. And there was like a thing down here. I forgot what it was, but wow, I got 4 viewers at a time now. 4 of you. So if you found this on Facebook and you like it, why don't you go ahead and like the post so I know, or comment on the post so I know who's watching me, because it's pretty awkward to just have people watching you and you not knowing who they are. I wonder if Facebook allows you to have real-time video. I know one-on-one you could do it, but I don't think you could broadcast like this. But YouTube allows you to broadcast, which is very, very interesting. Oh, Rabbi Kushy, can't tell. Check out, check me out live. Thank you, Kushy. I see that Kushy, let me go to my profile and see in real time. Kushy likes it. Thank you, Kushy. Anybody else? I see 4 people here and 2, oh, there you go, Christine. Hello. Anyone else? I see 4 people here and 3 people liked it. Unless Herschel's still on. I know that he commented before, but he probably left. He probably got bored. I mean, people have ADD these days and they don't have time to sit around and wait. So whoever's on here right now, there's 4 of you. Maybe just one person just has it on and they don't, or they're not interested. You're not interested, hmm? You just want to stalk?
You're just a stalker and you don't want to tell me who you are.
You're just a stalker. Oh, Rabbi Kushy left. Oh, he lefty. He wrote, he lefty. I'm going to be doing a webinar in a couple of minutes, and it's going to be a really awesome webinar, so I highly recommend you join it. If you want to join the webinar, go to facebook.com/joeapfelbaum, and there's a link to the webinar in my previous post. It says, are you a kosher blogger and want to learn about blah, blah, blah, blah, blah? Okay, okay, it's me. What you going to— Oh, Matt LaVosch! Welcome! Finally, he opens his mouth. If anybody needs web design, hit up Matt LaBouche. He does awesome web design, right, Matt? That's awesome. So what should I play? I like making up songs because I never really memorized any, any songs, so I, I just know a couple of chords and And you can watch me play from here. One of my— one of the things that I usually like to play is—
You like that, huh?
You like that? Play a song about Giant Vintage hitting the first page of Google on almost all the keywords we picked. Wow, that's great.
Giant Vintage hit the first page of Google. Giant Vintage hit the first page of Google. For all the words that we picked out for them. Giant Vintage, you're now number one on Google. Giant Vintage, you're now number one on Google. You're so gold because you use Ajax Union for the marketing services. You use Ajax Union for the marketing services.
By the way, I see 4 people on now, so if you still didn't like the post or comment on it about what you want me to sing about, Then you should go ahead and do that right now. So there's only 3 people that were really commenting. I see Matt's on, and Matt's on, and the rabbi's on. So we got a rabbi, we got 2 Matts, and we have somebody else. So if you want to be courageous and comment on the Facebook post and let me know who you are and what you want me to write about, or what you think about what I'm doing here, that would be really, really awesome. So go ahead and take a moment and comment on the post, on the Facebook post. Let me know what you think I should be doing, what you think I should be writing about, what do you want me to talk about, and we can have a conversation. And if you're on Google+ and you want to join this live on-the-air thing and talk to me face-to-face and have a conversation, or maybe even sing with me— Matt wrote, 2 Matts and a rabbi walk into a bar. That's really funny. Matt, do you have a webcam on Google+?
No.
If you do and you want to join me live on the air and have a conversation with me till the webinar starts, that would be so funny. That would be so funny. So go ahead and send me a message with your email address on Google— on Facebook Chat or on Google+, and I'll be more than happy to add you to the— I wonder if we could add video. So if anybody wants to help me test this out, that would be awesome. I wonder if I could add somebody else to the Google+ on the fly. He said ordinarily he would go on, but something, something. Not on Google+. OK. You got an air conditioner all over— oh, you got conditioner all over your beard.
It's kind of like therapy.
No? Guitar is like music in general. Music is the key to the heart, to the soul. And if you're able to generate your own music, that's very powerful. If you're able to create your own music, sing your own songs, and express yourself. See, I hate taking off the plastic off stuff. I don't even know why I keep the plastic on forever. Something about me, like on my cell phone, I like don't want to rip off the plastic on it. I always just leave it on till it like falls off. I do the same thing with this guitar. I must have bought this guitar, I don't know, let's say at least a year ago. Was it a year ago? Maybe it was like at least 6 months ago I bought this guitar and I still had the plastic on right here like this the whole time. And I've been playing with the plastic on and now I finally took the plastic off. So for those of you that just joined this live real-time broadcast called Guitar Eve, please comment on my Facebook and let me know that you're here. And let me know what you want me to sing about. Let me know what you want me to do because I'm in the office today till I do the webinar in 30 minutes. And if you want to join the webinar, you can go to my Facebook profile, facebook.com. /JoeApfelbaum, and right under the post that I put about the live video that I'm doing, which you probably found out about this video from there. And by the way, I'd like you to comment and like on that video to let me know you're here. There's a link to the webinar there, so go ahead and add yourself to the webinar if you're interested in joining at 8:30, because it's going to be a rocking short webinar, and after the webinar, I'm going to go home. And I'm probably going to close out this video. I don't even know how long I've been on this. Couldn't have been that long. Let me see what it says on top. It says on top that 18 minutes ago, blah blah blah blah blah. So this video must be on for 18 minutes. That's a long time to be on a video. How annoying is that? Not long enough, bro. Not long enough, bro. You're right.
Not long enough.
So there's Wow, Joe, I have been marketing— you're a marketing machine. Thank you, Matt. Thank you, Matt. Thank you both, Matt. We got a double Matt. We got a double Matt that are active, and the rest of you, there are 5 viewers on right now. That's a record for my on-the-air, live on-the-air Google+ video through YouTube. So it's a record, and I just want to let you all know that There's a record going on right now. We just broke a record. So all of you, all 5 of you that are watching me live right now, go onto Facebook and make a comment. Tell me something. Start a conversation. Tell me what you want me to talk about.
Tell me what you want me to sing about, sing about, sing about, sing about.
What you want me to sing about. Or you don't want me to sing. Throw tomatoes at me. What you want me to sing about. Throw apples at me. Throw likes at me. Something has to go on. Something has to happen here. So if you're watching me right now, go on to Facebook. Do I get a certificate for helping break the record or a cookie?
Yes, you do.
Thank you very much. Thank you, thank you, thank you for breaking the record. Christine broke the record. Thank you. By the way, if you guys haven't heard the rap that I made not too long ago, I made a rap here in the office for Thanksgiving Day. And one of the things that I said was we're going to throw lumps of money at you. Lumps and lumps and lumps. So if you go to Ajax— if you go to facebook.com/ajaxunion, you can see that in real time, actually listen to it in real time. And it's a really awesome rap, and you can comment on it if you liked it. And I haven't checked if anybody commented on it, so I'm going to go there now and see what people wrote. If you go to Facebook—
Oh.
Facebook.com/ajaxunion. And if you still don't like the page, You should do that right now. When you scroll down right after the picture of the staff, there's an Instagram thing. Ooh, Yasi Axelrod, hooray, he liked me. Thank you for checking out the page, dude. You'll see the rap there about Thanksgiving. 3 people shared it and 6 people liked it, but nobody commented. So if you didn't listen to it yet, you should listen to it. It's really fun. If you go to facebook.com/ajacksunion and check that out, it's really, really fun.
Anything you say can be a song.
You can make a song out of anything. You can literally just— let's see what people are writing. Throw money at me. Check me out live. Somebody else liked it. Thank you. Thank you, Matt, for liking it. What I do sometimes is I start a little melody and I go like this. And for those of you that just joined, comment on my post so I know that you're here and I know who I'm talking to. It just goes like that, basically. You do a C and then you put your fingers here and put your fingers on the one string here and then your 3 fingers on the bottom 3 strings and you literally just like start a little melody. My shirt got open. Let me just close my shirt because this feels a little awkward to have my shirt open on the internet. Okay, here you go. Let's try it again. See that? Just a lip sync. Whoa, what are you writing? Yeah, you can make a song out of anything. See Gangnam Style or Call Me Maybe. Just lip sync to this. Let me play that. Let me play that video. I wonder if everything you're about to hear is made by a human voice and mouth. For the, um, these guys make the weirdest, weirdest faces when they sing. Just pause it like 29 seconds in and look at their faces. It's the most ridiculous faces that they make. Oh my God. I'll watch the video after. So for those of you that are watching me right now, I am doing a webinar in about 20 minutes. So I'm going to get off this thing in about 3 minutes or so.
Mm-hmm.
I'm going to get off this thing in about 3 minutes so I can get ready for the webinar. But thank you all for joining me and for helping me test out YouTube Live on the air. I really appreciate it very much. And you know what, maybe, maybe, just maybe, I can start doing this regularly because I love the attention so much, right? Who doesn't love attention? And because I think I can actually have a conversation, I can actually get 3 or 4 people into Google+ and talk. We can just talk about anything once a day, and we can make it live so that anybody can view it. I think it's a pretty powerful thing to be able to do that. I think it's a pretty powerful thing to be able to have a conversation with people and then just share that conversation in real time while you're having it, like a networking type of thing maybe. What do you think? Thanks for keeping my 6-year-old busy. Yes, he wrote. Well, you're welcome.
I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you're talking about.
Shout out to Reevees, my daughter, please. Okay, Yasi's daughter, Yasi's 6-year-old daughter needs a shout out now.
Yay! Go Reevees! Go Reevees!
You should be sleeping, it's past your bedtime.
So go to sleep, little Reevees, go to sleep. So your tati could go on the internet and comment on my posts and memes. Go to sleep, little babies, go to sleep. So your daddy could relax after a hard day at work selling medical supplies online. 'Cause that's what he does. He sells walkers and diapers, walkers and diapers for older people so that they can be functional while they're getting older and older and older. He likes to help them 'cause he's a really good daddy, and you should tell him that you love him. I love you, Joe. Love him every day, every day of your life. And he also sells wheelchairs, by the way, and he's offering a Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Mobile Tuesday special.
Go to www.medsupplyshop.com. All right, ladies and gentlemen, I am putting my guitar away. And I would like to thank all of you formally for joining me this evening in this wonderful, wonderful, wonderful internet that we have here, that we can talk and we can have fun and we can drink water.
Mmm.
Delicious, delicious. I went to a networking event last night. And I got tons and tons of business cards. And I have to communicate with all these people. I got this guy and this person and that person and that person and that person and that person and that person and that person and that person. That's how many cards I got. And it was pretty cool. So what's the next networking event that you're going to go to? There's one that we're holding in the city next week, and there's 100 people there. Ooh, look at that. I got somebody calling me here. Hang on, internet. Hello? Good. You know you're live on YouTube. What? What does that mean? I posted a video of myself, and I have two people watching me. I posted a video of myself live on Facebook, and I have people watching me talking to Zevi Weinberg. He's one of my friends on Facebook. Let me put you on speaker. Hang on so you can say it yourself. He has a message for all the people. Go, go, talk.
The Rav said that God created the world in such a fashion that people always need other people, but the purpose of creating the world in this fashion is not so that those people should have an opportunity to do good. But you should have an opportunity to do something.
The rabbi has spoken. The rabbi has spoken, ladies and gentlemen. Did you hear what the rabbi said? I heard what you said. Oh, go, go, finish, finish.
Creating the world in this way is that you should have an opportunity to go out of yourself.
You hear that, ladies and gentlemen? It's time to get out of yourself.
You understand? You need to— good, thank God, nice to see you.
Are you guys going to get out of yourself?
That's it. You know how you get out of yourself? You help somebody else. Right now there are hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers that are displaced because of Hurricane Sandy. There are kids that are going to bed tonight in Seagate.
So where could people contact you to donate money? All the people that are listening to me online, if they want to donate money, To help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
They can go to chabadlic.com and make a donation.
Chabadlic.com, 100% to victims of Hurricane Sandy. You heard that, all of you? Anybody that's watching this video on the internet right now.
Second of all, they can go in Queens, Chabad Chesed, Metropolitan Avenue, and drop off stuff all day. You hear that, guys? Enjoy your, enjoy your program.
Thank you. Thank you. Guys, you hear that? You got to help out with the whole Sandy, Hurricane Sandy thing. It's pretty hectic what went on. There are people that still don't have homes. I'm switching out my battery because it died because the rabbi called me and he wants donations for the people. Let me change my battery real quick. I'm just changing my battery. I'm right here. I didn't go anywhere.
So—
oh, I dropped my battery on the floor. Charging the other one now. Oh, I'm very tired. Look at that, 2 people are still here. They didn't leave. You didn't leave. That's awesome. What happened to my Ajax Union banners up there? I should have an Ajax Union banner like right behind me here. No, can I have like an Ajax Union banner right behind me so like I can advertise my business to everybody, especially when I'm on video? And my phone is starting again. You see, that's my phone. He's starting. See, I just popped in a new battery and I'm charging the old one. Anywho, what I'm going to be doing right now is hanging up and I'm going to get ready for the webinar. So if you want to join the webinar, please go to my Facebook profile and check it out, and you will love it. You will love the Facebook profile. Not only will you love the profile, but you'll love to go down to my GoToMeeting link and join the webinar that's happening in just a few minutes. So go to— let me log in and see how many people signed up so far to this wonderful webinar. What you looking at, huh? Why you spying on me, hmm? That's so funny. You're just like watching me. You're sitting there. Go grab a drink or something. At least grab a drink. Let me see if you're gonna watch me like that. If you're gonna stalk me like that, at least grab a drink while you're stalking me. Let me go to Facebook just to see if anybody else commented on this. Oh, I got a private message. Okay, nothing related to that. Let's see what else people are writing. Last comments, ZZZ. Okay, thank you, Yossi Axelrod. Let me log in over here and my webinars. Ooh, I got a nice amount of registrants. That's beautiful. Okay, so we're going to start practicing now. How many people are live on here? Run this time. That's excellent. All right, so we're going to get started. So if you're going to join the webinar, you might as well join it now. It's going to be a lot of fun. I'll see you guys on the other side. Take care. Have a wonderful evening.
