How was that for you guys?
Two thumbs up.
Sweet. Yeah.
Yeah. Did you love it?
Very good.
More than I expected.
Good. Good. So hopefully you'll come on May 8th to the next to the next meeting. We're going to be wrapping up in just two minutes, but I'd love for you guys to share what you got out of this event, and if you do plan on coming back, why do you plan on coming back? And just spend 30 seconds talking about it. If you can, what did you love about high-energy networking? Who wants to go first?
I'll go first. I'll jump in if you want.
That's a good sign. That's a good sign.
Everybody wants to jump in.
There's your answer, Joe.
Okay, so Tom, you go first and then Jason. Go ahead, Tom.
Yeah, no, I really, I enjoyed learning about other people quickly and getting to know them. I think we agreed in just the last Breakout, how important it is that we that you get to know someone, trust them through just a few bits and pieces of what you before you met them. So really good. I super look. I look forward to the next one. Jason, that'll bring me back.
Well, well done, Jason.
I like the way you facilitate the meeting and your teaching along the way.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, fantastic. Go ahead, Mark.
Yep. Well, that's exactly. I'm just piggybacked on Joe. You put a you put a beautiful network together. It's really nice what you're doing.
I.
I do a lot of networking, and I really enjoy being part of this one.
Thank you. Carlos?
I, I love the way that you rap.
You always captivate me with your rap.
We're coming back for the rap.
Okay, what about you, Polly?
I, I love how fun it was and how different it was. There was rapping, and then there was education, and then there was getting to know everyone personally and professionally.
Awesome.
And I like the speed. Yeah.
And you like what?
The speed of it. Everything was swift but controlled.
Awesome. Jesse?
You know, for me, I think the biggest thing is I've never had any social anything. I've never had Facebook. I've never done— this is my first foray into the online thing. And it was refreshing to see that the internet is not just filled with lunatics. And really interesting and really good people out there. So I'm glad to have met all of you. And it took the fear out of it. So I hope to do more of it.
Awesome. Nice.
Yeah, look, I love meeting people. It's why I got into podcasting to begin with, with interviewing. And it never ceases to amaze me that we truly are all unique, even if we do a lot of similar things, you know, like waking up, going to sleep, eating food, those functions. But functions aren't the same as the fashion that is a human being. And it's truly an individualized experience with every single one of you. Thank Thank you for bringing your whole selves here. Even if it wasn't something you intended to do, I sure felt like it was your full self. And so if there is more, I'm looking forward to the next one.
Kenyatta?
I love the variety and the diversity of the agenda. You had enough different things going on in this short hour to where it was just engaging the entire time through. I get bored really fast, and I didn't get bored at all, so I dig it.
Awesome. Thank you, Aita.
Yeah, I think it was great how you kind of had the flow, made it more personal. I think sometimes we're doing networking, it's so professional all the time. And just definitely interesting to see the overlap with other people in the room and how like we are in the same sectors, but our niches are a bit different. And that was like very interesting to see. I saw some potential collab opportunities that Piqued my interest.
That's awesome. Doug?
What Aicha said, I mean, the breadth of industries and sectors is just, is very good. I mean, it's not half-life coaches, you know, I've been on those. So, and, and Jesse, there are some great stupid pet videos out there. You've got to get hooked on.
All right.
Fantastic. Anybody else have something to share before we wrap up?
Yeah, I can sort of jump in. Yeah. So what I really was impressed about also what everybody said, the flow and the variety of education and meeting, that kind of stuff. And you don't usually do a lot of fun facts in these kind of groups. So that was a lot of fun. And I think the big takeaway for me is that Jeremy's— what do you want to call it— strategic partner, what he's looking for for clients is strip club owners. So if anybody has any, he's there.
Jeremy, you want to comment on that?
You're gonna have to.
Are you sure that wasn't a fun fact?
Yeah, I like to kid around. So if people know me, I was— Joe, I was gonna say I hated this hour. It was a complete waste of time. But actually, this is one of the more fun and useful networking events. And you call it high energy, but I felt like I could keep my guard down. It was casual enough and yet we had time to, there was good flow. We had time to meet and get to know the other people. But yeah, I like to kid around. So that's it.
So guys, remember—
I missed a few people. So it needs to be a little longer. I wanted to talk to Kenyatta or something. I'm teaching my little girl drum.
That's why the fortune is in the follow-up. Make sure that you fill out those forms. I see most of you already filled it out. A couple of you haven't. So if you can fill out the form in the chat, that'd be great. Also make sure to leave a comment on LinkedIn. I see Carlos just submitted his. Thank you, Carlos. And I just want to remind you guys, May 8th, bring a friend or 2. They will thank you for it. They will thank you for it.
All right.
Thank you very much, everyone. Have a good day.
Yep. Thanks, guys.
Bye-bye.
