How did you overcome your fear of networking with strangers

Many people want to know, Joe, how did you overcome your fear of networking with strangers? Well, you may not know this now because when I walk into a room, I behave like the host now, even if it's not my event. I connect with people, I connect people together, and I establish long-term relationships with people that I just met, people that want to be my friend for a really long time. You see, the first step to overcoming fear is acknowledging that you even have the fear to begin with. I wasn't aware that I was afraid. If somebody came over to me 10 years ago and said, Joe, you have a fear of networking. That's why you don't network and make all those excuses. And even if they said, you either have reasons or you have results. You have all the reasons you want in your life that you have not gone to networking events. I would've just laughed at them. I said, I'm not interested in networking with a bunch of random strangers. But the truth is I didn't see the value of it. And I didn't even know that networking was a thing that can drive so much revenue to my business while at the same time making me feel fulfilled deep down inside by building real relationships with other human beings. You see, when we lack awareness, fear creeps in. Fear is like darkness. And when you put light to darkness, the fear automatically disappears. And so creating light around your fear is very important.
