Joe Apfelbaum writes down specific goals like a trail run in nature and reviews them daily, speaking them aloud as if already achieved. He says the universe tests whether you really mean it, and that written intent plus visualization plus belief plus action makes things happen.

Are you manifesting? Are you actually— Write down the things that you want. Look, look, a running track in nature. That's something that I wrote down that I wanted several years ago, along with a house that has a 2-car garage, along with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all my kids. And I look back at that little letter that I wrote down to myself, this is what I want to manifest. And a couple years later, I happened to have those things. Not exactly how I imagined, but when you take the time to write something down and look at it every day and speak it out into the world, the universe responds in kind. It first tests you. Do you really want this? I'm gonna make it challenging for you to get it to see if you really want it or you just kind of wishy-washy with your words. 'Cause if you don't have integrity with your words, your words have no power. So you gotta write them down, look at them, read them, believe them, feel the feeling as if you already have it, and then go get it. Boom.
