How to connect High Level to Google Contacts

In this video, I'm gonna show you exactly how to connect HighLevel to Google Contacts, and I'll explain to you why I want to be able to do this. But first, let me introduce myself. My name is Joe Apfelbaum, CEO of Ajax Union. I've been running a digital marketing agency for the past 15 years, and over the past year and a half, I've been obsessed with artificial intelligence and I've been creating these little robots to like scan LinkedIn and create conversational AI agents to go and speak to people and I'm, I'm middle of building this incredible automation. But one of the big issues that I have is when I put somebody into my HighLevel, and many of our clients that we give HighLevel to and that we support have this issue, is that you put it into HighLevel, but it doesn't appear on your cell phone, in your Google Contacts. Because some people use Android and they have Google Contacts and they want the caller ID to appear there. So now they have to go into HighLevel, then go into Google Contacts and so on. And so what I decided to do is to create an automation using this tool called make.com that allows me to be able to look for any contact that gets updated in HighLevel in my particular account. And then when an up— when I get a new contact, if it— if they have a tag that says send to Google, then it goes into my Google Contacts anytime instead of me going and putting that that thing in, it goes into my HighLevel and then I just add the tag inside HighLevel and it automatically sends it to Google. And this is a really powerful way for you to get someone to fill something up on a landing page, on a website, then you wanna send it to your cell phone so you can call them or text them from your cell. And you don't necessarily wanna use a HighLevel app, but, or you wanna WhatsApp them or something and you want it to just appear in your contacts quickly. I have thousands of people that I interact with through my HighLevel. And you know, also I imported all of my LinkedIn connections in there as well, which I can do a separate video about how I imported all of my connections, all my 30,000 LinkedIn connections into HighLevel. And now I'm able to just, you know, add a tag to any contact and then it just gets sent to my Google just like that. And then the last part of this automation is that I also add a note to that HighLevel saying, hey, I actually added this contact to your Google already. So if I go into that contact ever, I'm gonna be like, oh, it's already in my Google. And I could also update the tag as well, say that it was sent successfully, but I'm not gonna do that right now. Right now I'm just gonna keep it simple. 3 steps. Look for anything that changed in my contacts, put a filter in. So this is really key when you're creating this automation is to put a filter in. And I wasn't sure exactly how to do this, but I'll show you the filter right here. The filter is if it has the tag sent to Google, then send it. If not, don't send it. So that's the idea. So it has to have the tag. So I can update other things in HighLevel and this might pick it up, but it's not going to actually send it to my Google because I'd only want it to send things that I actually added the tag. And then of course, go ahead and leave a note and all this. You could see it worked out perfectly for me. And I'm so happy that this works. So Check it out. Let me know if you need help.
