So today I want to teach you how to define your niche because the niches are something that most people are not doing. People are not doing niches. They're not niching down. If you take a look at most people that are on LinkedIn, they don't really have a niche. Most business owners, they don't have a niche and their marketing stinks as a result of not having a niche. People like, oh, I just want to work with all businesses. You want to work with all businesses? What's your niche? Who specifically do you want to work with? And they say everybody. I want to work with everybody. But working with everybody is not going to help you create the right messaging. It's not going to be able to help you find the right people. So I recently went to ChatGPT. I'm gonna pull open my ChatGPT over here so you can see what I'm talking about here. And I asked it about, what I asked it about, about business owners in Fortnite, microblading, levels of gratitude. Maybe it was Claude, hang on a second. Maybe it was Claude I asked about this. Let's see, recent chats, the power of the niching. Okay, here we go. So I went on Claude, I'm gonna just pop Claude over here. And I said the following. I said, how can I even be more helpful with this post? One of the biggest problems we have in the marketing world is that we don't have a niche. Why is this a problem? Well, if we don't have a niche, then you're speaking to everyone and no one is listening. So with Evvy AI, we decided we're gonna focus on LinkedIn. We were going to help engaged LinkedIn users be able to have an assistant on LinkedIn. So we specifically are targeting sales professionals that are using LinkedIn, companies that are paying for Sales Navigator. And it's stated right on our homepage, who is this for? A lot of people don't write who is this for. People who are using LinkedIn that are in sales, they're coaches, consultants, business owners. Those are the people that benefit from this that are specifically actively using LinkedIn. Most people in the world are not actively using LinkedIn. So you can find the niche. What's your niche? So I broke down this concept of like, if you work with people and you don't have a niche, the question is, what is your niche? If you need help creating one, here are 3 steps. Number 1 is you pick your market. What are you going to help people with? Number 2 is you pick your submarket. And number 3 is you pick your niche that's inside your submarket. For example, wealth, health, or relationships is your market. So what problem are you solving? Is it their health, wealth, or relationships? Then let's say you say, okay, I'm going to help people get leads. Then, all right, so you're going to do sales, marketing, or networking? I pick sales. Then you say, okay, well, do you want to do cold calling, closing, or list building? Well, you do cold calling. And now all of a sudden you have a niche. You help a specific group of people, for example, salespeople, SaaS sales reps, with cold calling and you create automations for them. And you can build a list of 1,000 SaaS companies and create messaging that resonates with them. But a lot of people don't want to pigeonhole themselves to a niche. So let's talk about some of the things that people say when it comes to not wanting to pigeonhole themselves. So here's what people actually say. Here are the common objections. I don't want to turn away potential clients. If I focus on real estate agents, I'll have to say no to doctors who want to work with me. And then the answer is, let me ask you something. When you go to a heart surgeon, do they only treat your hearts? Of course. But if you have a severe emergency with another organ, they could help. Your niche is about marketing focus, not capacity limits. In fact, when you're known for the go-to experts for real estate agents, other industries will seek you out because you You specialize in your expertise. Niching actually attracts more clients, not fewer. In my business, for example, Ajax Union, we're a digital marketing agency. We are B2B. Do you know how many B2C clients we have? So many people come to us, and that's why we created a whole separate landing page for B2C, because we get B2C clients. But when we're outbound on our homepage, we're talking about B2B. We're saying we help B2B companies. And have a marketing director be able to improve their strategy, be able to create automations. That's what we help. We've worked with over 1,100 clients. You can see we have all this stuff over here. Wrote a book about it specifically for marketing directors at B2B companies. Think about that for a second. Think about what your niche is. If you're not sure what your niche is, the likelihood of you being successful It's going to be lower. Why? Because you're not going to have a niche. I'm not sure what niche to pick. There's so many options. What if I choose the wrong one? I actually want to start a website called Niche Database that has a database of all the different niches around and give people examples so that they can get inspired. Think of choosing a niche like dating. You don't have to marry the, the first one you try. Start with a niche that meets your 3 criteria. They have money, they're easy to find, and they're growing. By the way, that's the 3-step criteria. Test it for 90 days. If it doesn't work, you'll have to get real data to guide you to the next choice. The only wrong choice is not making a decision, not choosing at all. That's really the problem. People don't make decisions. Let's go to LinkedIn and take a look at What I'm doing over here. So first of all, I'm going to leave a comment using Evy AI just to kind of show you how that works. Because of course, if I know I'm targeting people like Jeff, like George Murray, who's a general manager and CEO of a company, I'm targeting him specifically because he has a sales team and I want to work with sales teams. You see that? Staying top of mind with him, building a relationship with him, leaving comments on his posts using Evy AI. Well, you might ask me, Joe, how many comments have you left? Well, let's check. Let's check how many comments. You go to view profile, look at your own profile under analytics. You click on see all analytics, and then you'll notice I left 448 comments in the past week. That's since Monday, 448 comments. Do you think I could break 500? I don't know. Let's see. Let's try to break 500 comments and let's do that now. Why not? So who am I going to comment on? Well, I'll tell you who I'm going to comment on. I'm going to comment on people inside my niche. I'm going to log into Evie AI. This is what I do. This is my practice, and I'm going to leave 50 comments right now. But who am I going to leave it to? People that I want to remember me, people that are in my niche, people that I am targeting. So how does it work? Well, the first step is you make a list inside Evie AI. Once you have a list inside Evie AI, for example, Sandler Sales Trainers. You press Apply. Now I have a list of all the Sandler Sales Trainers right over here. You see that? It's a whole long list of Sandler Sales Trainers. Now I take this list and I start opening each one in a new window. I'm Ctrl-clicking on it. It's opening up in the background here. Okay, and I'm purposely— I can click on this instead of Ctrl-clicking and open up in my window, but I wanted to open up these in the background over here. You see Robin Green? Robin Green posted 4 days ago. What I'm going to do is I'm going to stay top of mind with him by leaving him a comment on his post. He's going to notice the fact that I left him a comment and the chances of him referring me and also becoming a client is going to be much higher. Let's go to the next person. The next person is Robert Hess. I already engaged. The next person is Scott Bliss. So I'm going to go ahead and give it a like and leave them a comment just like this. Now it doesn't take much time to leave a comment if you're using Evie AI, and the more comments you leave, the more people are going to notice you. You see, one day ago, David Fisher— me and David were in the same Vistage group at one point, very nice guy. We haven't really connected since COVID but now we have a call set up for next week. So I'm going to make sure he remembers me. this weekend, he's going to get a notification that I commented on his post just like that. Now I'm going to change this one here. This one I'm going to change to be a quote. Hit generate. It's going to generate a nice motivational quote. Hit comment. And now I just left him a quote. Rob Fishman posted a week ago. You see that? I'm going to go ahead, leave him a nice little Message over here. I'm going to tag Rob so he gets it. Make sure I read the comment, make sure it makes sense. Then I'm going to keep going. Rob Fishman was the last one that I did. Did David Fisher, Rob Fishman, Robin Green, uh, Tom. I'm gonna click Tom, Randy, Timothy, Rick, Nima, Matt, You see all these people? I had a conversation with Matt recently. This is Matt's posts. I believe I already left him a comment since we had the conversation yesterday or the day before. You see, I already commented, so I can close this page. Listen over here. I haven't commented on this one. Excited, reach out to me if you think you might be a fit. Let's see what this is. Opportunity sounds promising. The only limit is Tony Robbins. Okay, let me just see. What does this say over here? What's this guy posting about? Oh, he's in New Jersey. Oh, he's a Sandler trainer. He's another Sandler trainer. I'm going to go ahead and say connect. I'm going to hit add a note. I'm going to ask Evie AI to connect me with this person. Okay, I'm going to press send and now I'm going to connect with this person in New Jersey. And build a relationship with a person locally here that is in the position to refer business to me and do business with me. Most people are not sending connection requests on a daily basis, but look how much activity I'm doing rapidly. And, you know, some of it I have my assistant do for me, but a lot of it I do myself because I want to be paying attention to what's going on. I want to be doing it myself because I want To be involved in the conversation. I want to see what's being said. I want people to notice me. I want to remember names, and I want to, I want to be in the game. You see that? I'm actually in the game. If you're not in the game, you're not in the game. Are you in the game? Are you actually sitting down and doing the work? You could hire somebody to help you do the work as well, but you have to be in the game. You have to show up to the networking event yourself. Okay, I'm going to go through this real quick just to kind of see. Check this out. I'm going to check— show you how many people are waiting to connect with me on LinkedIn. I have 1,135 people waiting to connect with me on LinkedIn right now. Look at this, including this guy named Devin Rodriguez. Let's see what Devin wants. Devin has this website called podcast.io. He sent me a connection request. Looks like we have a lot of mutual connections here. Let's see. Let's see some of these mutual connections, see if there's a network that he's part of that I'm part of that I know of. I see Roland, Brynn, Bob Berg. Looks like he might be in NSA, in the National Speakers Association. I see quite a few NSA members. Yeah, and a bunch of other random people. It's totally random. Okay, moving on. Let's see who else we have here. So we did Matt, we did Nima. Let's go to Annelie, Glenn, Andy, Greg, Tim, Jason, Katie. Then we got Bill, Peter, Tim. We'll do Bill, Peter, Tim after. All right. Oops, I closed that. That's okay. I'll go back and open it after. Okay, let's go to Glenn, leave a comment on his post. You see Glenn did a podcast over here. Again, these are people nobody's commenting on their stuff. I'm the only one leaving comments. What's going to happen is they're going to notice me. They're going to be like, oh, look at this, Joe Apfelbaum is leaving a comment on my post. And it's— this doesn't take forever. You see, I'm on this LinkedIn Live for just a couple minutes and I've already left so many incredible comments already on all these people's posts. Let's go take a look at what we're up to here in terms of how many comments I left. We're up to 460. We got 40 comments left and we get into 500. And we should leave some for tomorrow. That would be pretty epic if I do a screenshot with me getting to 500. Look at that. Let's go to Suno. I wanted to make a song. Suno.ai. Create a song. Create a song about artificial intelligence. Picking your niche, picking your target market, LinkedIn, and how important it is for you to be specific when you're setting goals. Okay, let's see what it does. And let's listen to this Evvy AI melody while we're working. If you're enjoying watching me work, say, Joe, I'm really enjoying watching you work. I'm learning a lot from watching you work. Let's play this song over here. This is a synth-driven electronic pop. Press the button, let the words flow. Magic comments on the go. We're gonna go back to Anali. And then we're gonna do Bill, Peter, Tim, Kevin, and Kelsey. Let's go listen to the algorithmic love. All right, so I finished that whole entire list. Now we're going to change to Atlantic Active. These are all the people in Atlantic Tomorrow's office who are active. We're going to open up a couple of them here just like that. Visit their profile, so this way they get a notification that I visited their profile. And also leave a comment on their recent post. 13 hours ago she posted. I want to make sure that I'm top of mind with her. Done. If you're watching this live, go ahead and let me know what city you're dialing in from. I'm gonna see if it's working. You could also like double-click on this like this. You see? So think about it. Think about being able to Just go for it, just like that. Leave comments on people's posts. Very powerful. So you want to pick your niche. Let's discuss picking your niche more. As a matter of fact, what we're going to do is we're going to take this ultimate guide for picking your niche and we're going to make a presentation out of this right now. We're going to use Gamma. We're going to create a new presentation. We're going to paste in text. We're going to paste in this text. We're going to hit continue. It's going to ask me how many slides I want. I'm going to say I want 15 slides. I'm going to press continue. Then I'm going to say I want it to be like that color. Hit generate. And then I'll present it for you. Let's, let's watch it create a presentation for us while we listen to another song. Here we go. What, what, what, what, what? It's incredible. It's incredible. So now I'm going to save this as a PDF. I'm going to click the 3 dots here. I'm going to click share. I mean, I'm going to hit export. It's going to say, how do I want to export it? I'm going to export as a PDF. And once I have this PDF, okay, done. I'm gonna go to Evie AI. I'm gonna hit login. Then I'm gonna go to the post writer. I'm gonna copy this presentation. Okay, we did that. Now we're gonna go here and click on media. And we're gonna hit cancel. We shouldn't do media. We're gonna click on start a post. We're gonna click on the 3 dot, the little plus sign, then we're gonna find the document button. Unbelievable. Did you see how quickly I created this, um, this incredible presentation here? My mind is blown. I love working with artificial intelligence. Now let's, let's, um, today's 11/2, so let's go find all the people that are having Let's go. Let's get an instrumental song. Here we go. That's not instrumental. Is that all it gives me? It doesn't give me more than this? Oh, more pages. Let's see what— here we go. Wake Up Hustle. Yeah, we got Hustle Mind Explosion. Let me see if we can find just a beat. I had a beat the other day that I really liked. I don't know why I didn't save it. Let's listen to this one. All right, I'm gonna close this out. Oh, Rollin' Deep. You know how I think. I'm at the brink. I'm gonna download this one. What? Yeah, uh, Daniel Enfield from 3 days ago, making it happen. Uh. All right, so what I wanted to do is I wanted to go to my network. Ooh, she invited me. Thanks for the invite. Thanks for the invite. Thanks for the thanks for the thanks for the thanks for the oh she didn't invite me. I thought she accepted. That's interesting. People can subscribe to my newsletter even if they didn't accept that. That's cool. All right, I'm gonna ignore this then. I'm gonna go to. Food is a good song too. I'm gonna go to catch-up tab. Birthdays. Today's birthdays. Oh, birthdays. Check what I'm gonna do now. Watch what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna go like this, put this right here like this. I'm I'm going to write this like this. I'm going to click on messaging. Okay, so I got one window here. I got my second window here. I'm going to say November. 2nd. Let's see what comes up. See what comes up for November 2nd birthday group. Scorpio. November 21 birthday party for Cussed Babies. The hell is that? I'm gonna call it the November 2 birthday party. Uh, November 2nd birthday party, here we go. Okay, first person is Andrew Long. Andrew Long sings this song. The next person is going to be Max Gibson. Max Gibson. I'm going to go in here. I'm going to call it November 2nd birthday party group. Dear Scorpios, today is November 2nd and you all share a birthday. Get to know each other and network as you share the same birthday. Epic. I'm Okay, now I'm gonna go find all the November 2nd babies one at a time. It's amazing. I'm putting them all into a group together. That's a lot of people. The max amount of people you can have in a group is 50. I doubt I have 50 November 2nd birthday people. Oh, look at that poll. Yeah, we're at the bottom. Oh, we're not at the bottom. We're not at the bottom yet. Okay, Jeff Moss. Let's go back to Suno real quick and just put on some— oh, that's a Six Figure Summit. Let's get this again. Yo, what are we doing here? We are wishing happy birthday to these Scorpios. Kate, she's a Scorpio. She wants to connect, build relationships. Oh, this is October 30th. Oh no, oh no, oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I totally screwed up. Okay, so we got to take everyone until Adel off. Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom. I'll put those in separately. Dear Scorpios, today's November second and you all share a birthday. Get to know each other and network as you share the same birthday. My birthday is Coming up. All right, here we go. Oh, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 people in a group. I just sent a message to 21 people just like that, all at once. I wish them happy birthday because it's their birthday. All right, so I'm going to also wish my November 1st people a happy birthday. November 1st. Let me see if I type in birthday party. Party. Dear Scorpios, today is November 2nd. November second. Today is November second. I've done this in the past. November second. Yeah, December twenty first, thirty first. I missed a bunch of people. It doesn't show me all the people that were— it just shows me the people that I missed. Oh no, message sent. Oh, look at that, the 23rd. So we can go all the way back to the 23rd and do this to all those people because I missed a bunch of people. I didn't wish some people happy birthday. All right, so let's go. Let's find all the November 1st babies. Oh, that was November. Oh, that was today, November 1st. We have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 8 people. Let's see if I could find November. Let's see, group birthday party. I wrote November. Let's see. I don't think I have one. I have November 1st birthday. Let's create a new one. It's going to be called Nov 1st Birthday Party Group. So who are we going to add? We're going to add Fernando. Hi. Who else are we gonna add? We're gonna add Sandra. We're gonna add Darlene. We're gonna add Brian. Oh my God, did I add Liat already? Oh no, I removed those people. I added them and I removed them. Perfect. All right, here we go. Let me go back.
