We are live. We are live on LinkedIn. I don't know if this works or not because I'm going live directly from, um, from OBS. So I connected my stream key from OBS to see if this works, and I'm not sure if this actually works or doesn't work. So I am going to test this out and identify under events. Oh, looks like we are live. For some reason it doesn't come up as a post. How to get clients from LinkedIn surveys. Okay, so this is how this came up over here. All right, I could talk about how to come up with LinkedIn surveys, although I did change The name of it. Let me see if I can edit post while I'm live. It doesn't let me edit the post while I'm live. Let me go on YouTube and see if we are live on YouTube and see what YouTube says. youtube.com/@JoeApfelbaum. Remember, this is just a test, so let's see. Go to live. How to get clients from LinkedIn 171. Okay, so this one's How to Get Clients from LinkedIn 171. We're live. Let me see if this works. Oh, look at that. That's working. Okay. So this one works. Oh, sign up to our webinar, learn.socialselling.com. Oh my God. I got to fix that. Sign up to our webinar, learn.socialselling.com. Where did that come from? One watching now. Started. Ooh, I should edit this. I wonder if I can edit this in real time or I can only edit it later. Edit video. Let's see if I can edit this. I'm gonna do www.evi.ai/webinar. Evi AI. Yes, made for kids. Save. All right, let's just see if that worked. Back to channel content. Live. We're live right now. Go back to youtube.com/@JoeApfelbaum/live/. I don't know. I think it's slash— maybe slash live, slash streams. Okay, let's see what that looks like. All right.
Okay.
Yeah, so I was just able to see LinkedIn doesn't let you do this, but YouTube does, which is so cool. It says one watching now. That's probably me watching it. I'll like my own thing. All right, let's go back to LinkedIn and see if LinkedIn shows it in the— so now LinkedIn froze. Dude, LinkedIn is so buggy. It is crazy how buggy LinkedIn is. Oh, look at this guy here. I'm gonna give him a like. And I'm going to throw a comment here. Let's see if this allows me to do this. Oh, let me try Tammy's profile. I think they are just kind of rate limiting my profile because of how much activity I do every day. Yeah, this definitely goes faster. That might be the case. Let me type in Tammy. Tammy. No persona found with Tammy. It's so weird. Let me go down to T. Tammy, what is going on? Conversational. Generate. Okay, I love how you use polls to connect with clients. Such a fun way. Okay, all right, that's a good one. Oh, looks like we have 4 people watching right now. If you guys are live, let me know that you're live. Let me see. Yil Falkowitz, hi dear. I'd like to hear more. Let's set up an intro. Okay, great. I'll send you a video now so you can watch it. Let's go to the demos, the Evie AI demo video. Where is the demo video demo? Oh, here it is. Let me go back. All right, let's see what Andre says. Thank you, fantastic, blah blah blah. Okay, great. This needs to be edited because this is the wrong information over here. This definitely needs to be Okay, we'll edit it. I'll have to edit it. Let me go to my network. It looks like Brett just accepted a connection with Tammy. He's the vice president of sale at Unique Carpets in San Francisco. Are you guys using artificial intelligence in your business right now?
No.
Okay, let's see what he says about that. It looks like Art just commented on Joe Applebaum's post. Art says live. Ooh, I'm so glad you're live, Art. Let's see, Highlands, New Jersey. Ooh, that's cool. 30 connections in common. Who are the connections you have in common? Ooh, Jeff Goldberg. Do you know Jeff Goldberg? Amazing. Let's see who else you have in common. Art, it looks like you have so many connections. That's incredible, Art. Let me go back to Art Post's profile. Let me show you something crazy. Oop, let me go back here. You have 19,000 followers. That's so impressive. I'm going to go ahead and click connect from Tammy's profile. Hit connect. I'm going to go ahead and say generate comment. Hi Art, your insights on transformation resonate with me. Let's connect on LinkedIn. And let's see if Art accepts that connection request. I'm going to review his profile here. Look at that, one day ago. Wow, so impressive, so impressive. I'm going to go ahead and drop a comment on his profile using Evvy AI to drop comments. All right, so let's talk about polls for a hot second. Oh, what did Rhonda say here? Oh my God, that's such a cool table. All right, let's, um, let's— I think I'm gonna start using Restream to stream because, uh, I think I'm gonna start using OBS to stream directly because, um, Restream just takes up a lot of resources on my computer lately, even though I have more control over it. Um, it just takes up a lot of resources, and if I want to bring you people in, I'll just bring people in through Zoom. All right, so let's see what's been going on here. I'm going to actually add Tal Navarro here because she asked me to add her to this. Tal Navarro. Add. Let's see, I just added Tal here. Let's just see what happens. Okay, it says I'm currently on 2 paws. Rick said, let's see, Rick didn't say anything. I sent Rick, thank you for connecting with me on LinkedIn. He saw that at 9:10 AM. Do you use LinkedIn often? Let's just see what happens here. I'm going to close up Clipflow. I'm going to open this puppy up here. You know what? I'm going to disable Apollo. Maybe Apollo's slowing me down. Slowing things down. I'm going to right-click and I'm going to manage extension. I'm going to disable it temporarily just because. Let's see if it goes a little faster. Yeah, look at that. It went so much faster now. That's crazy. All right. Now I'm going to create a poll on LinkedIn. First, I'm going to like Darren. Oh, I'm sorry. Masses post here, and then I'm going to create a poll on LinkedIn. I'm going to go ahead and do this. It's inspiring journey, Darren. Okay, so I just left Darren a comment just like that. And let's just see what else we have going on over here. Okay. If we go to eviai.com/blackfriday. Oh man, this is live. Okay, I'm not going to reveal this yet. I'm not going to reveal that yet. We're not going to talk. Let's not talk about that. My team doesn't want to talk about it yet until All the dots and all the i's are crossed. Okay, so let's just, let's just make believe we didn't see that just now. Let's, let's do #MojoPoles. Let's do a search for #MojoPoles. Look at that. Google has been picking up some of my #MojoPoles. Oh wow, look at this. 4 months ago I posted something and 12 people voted. 58% of people said they're interested in LinkedIn training. Including this guy named Kemi and Ellen and Krista and William and Susan. So I do a poll on LinkedIn like this. I hashtag it #MojoPolls, and then all these people start kind of responding to me. Look at this, the last one I did over here from 5 days ago. I said, do you believe in Bitcoin? Big fan. Not a huge— it's a huge scam. 124 people got involved in this conversation. That's from 5 days ago. So this poll is actually still active on LinkedIn. I'm going to go ahead and create another poll right now, and I'm going to actually put it on for 12 o'clock. So I'm going to say, I'm going to actually have Evie AI write me the poll. So I'm going to go to eviai.com. I'm going to hit login on the left side over here. I'm going to hit Ctrl+0. I'm going to bring this more to the right like this so you can see what I'm doing. Okay, on the left side, I'm going to hit PostWriter, and then what I'm going to do is I'm going to do a poll. I'm going to do a tone of, um, persuasive, and then I'm going to say I would like to poll you as an audience, and I'd love to learn more about whether or not you want to join an engagement pod on LinkedIn. You see, I have been doing posting parties on a regular basis, and they're different from engagement pods where people actually build a relationship with each other and they meet in a Zoom meeting. I'm curious to know from your perspective, Is it worth joining an engagement pod and would you be interested in joining one? Someone just messaged me today asking me to join one and I figured maybe I should ask you guys what you think about this. An engagement pod is a group of people that build trust with each other and then they just comment on each other's content on a regular basis. And if you did want to join an engagement pod, would you want to join a daily one, a weekly one, or just a general monthly one? Let me know by voting on the poll below and leave a comment and let me know what your thoughts are with engagement pods in general. Okay, so I just spoke out the thing. I'm gonna copy this content here. I'm gonna press generate and it's gonna generate a hook, main points, a call to action, and hashtags. You see that? Now I'm gonna copy this content I'm going to go into LinkedIn. I'm going to paste it in here. Have you ever wondered if joining an engagement pod on LinkedIn could elevate your LinkedIn game? I'm going to delete that little thing there. I've been hosting posting parties regularly, but they're fantastic at sharing ideas. I'm curious to know the potential of— curious about the— I'm curious about your opinion. Because everybody wants to share their opinion on the potential of engagement pod. These groups are building trust, actively commenting on each other's content. Recently, someone reached out to us and joined the pod. I was thinking, is this something you'd be interested in? Engagement pods can— would you prefer daily, weekly, monthly? Your feedback is valuable. Let's explore together, blah, blah, blah. Vote in the poll below. Okay, now I'm gonna remove the LinkedIn growth one. And so we have 3 of these. I'm gonna hit the plus sign over here. And I'm going to click on Create a Poll, and I'm going to say, do you want to join an engagement— engagement pod? Yes, please add me to a pod. No, pods are cheating.
Depends.
On the people. Okay, so I'm going to leave it for a week. I'm actually going to make it for 2 weeks. I'm going to press done. Go into the comments below. It's also important to make sure that you repost this survey. So hit that repost button and repost without your thoughts. Just hit repost so more people see it. Okay. And I'm going to now schedule this. So I'm not going to just post it. I would like to schedule it, but the schedule piece is missing. Okay. I guess I'll just post it. I guess I will just post it right now because the schedule button is missing. Because I, you see, LinkedIn is broken. If I start a post from this part of LinkedIn, The schedule thing is not there. That is ridiculous. My God, I just found a bug on LinkedIn. Bug alert, LinkedIn bug alert. Now I'm going to click on these 3 dots over here. I'm going to hit copy link to post. I'm going to go into the messaging. I'm going to paste it in here. Now I'm going to remove all the extra UTM tags from here. Control A, control C. See, paste. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to click on this and paste it in here as well. And— oh, what happened over here? This person blocked me. Okay. That's perfect. I'm gonna go in here. Another one bites the dust, another one bites the dust, and another one does, and another one does. Another one bites the dust, boom boom boom. Another one bites the dust, boom boom boom. Another one bites the dust. All right, let's go here. Atlantic Tomorrow's Office. This is what I call a survey or a LinkedIn poll. I highly recommend that you learn how to use surveys in a meaningful way. And if you watch my most recent live, you will see me actually creating this post. Okay. I just did that. Now I'm curious to know if you guys are willing to do things like that. Are you, are you willing to take the time to create a poll on LinkedIn and look at how many messages just in the past 24 hours I sent out? Look at all these messages. Just incredible. Just incredible, the amount of messages. This is October 25th. This is the 25th. Now I'm gonna go all these messages in one day, the back and forth, the conversations. Kelly Anderson has a question. I'm actually on LinkedIn Live right now, and if you'd like to join me, feel free to ask the question in the comments there, or you can ask it here. And I will talk about it on LinkedIn Live.
Okay.
I'm going to click this and let's see if it shows up on my recent activity. Let's go to my recent activity. Guys, let me know where in the world you're dialing in from. Oh, look at that. People are already commenting on this. I got 4 votes so far on this. Let's see, I'm gonna give myself a little light bulb here. And it looks like Art says, please increase your volume. Oh, is my volume low? Is my volume low? Okay, let me listen to my own volume. Hello, hello? Is my volume low? Let me check my volume here. Let's see, is my volume low? Learn about your microphone. He said please increase your volume. Okay, microphone privacy settings, microphone access. Let's see, mixer, open up mixer, input RODECaster Pro. Oh, maybe, maybe I should turn off mix minus. Hang on a second. Settings, mono off, microphone, it's at 76. I mean, I could, I guess I could put it higher. RODECaster Pro microphone. I think it's pretty high. No, is it not high? Mic check, 1, 2. Maybe I could just talk louder. I was kind of like, what, maybe, I don't know. I can't even hear myself, so I don't know. You know what, maybe I should be able to hear myself if I go to YouTube. I go to youtube.com/@JoeApfelbaum. Let's see if that'll work. I go live and I could listen to myself. I could just talk louder. I was kind of like, what? Maybe, I don't know, things like that. Are you, are you willing to take the time? And I'm going to now schedule this, so I'm not going to just post it. It's pretty loud, but the schedule piece is missing over here. A weekly one. Journey Darren. Oh my God, that's such a cool— oh, Jeff Goldberg. You know Jeff Goldberg? Hannah Miller, amazing. Let's go to suno.ai, make some music, and see if the music loads. Library, Posting Party. Is this loud? All right, so let's see if that worked. That's good. All right, that's good, that's good. All right, so let's, let's just create a, um, let's do not custom, create a rap beat for me to be able to really flow with and be able to share my thoughts. And I'm gonna do an instrumental. Let's see what it's able to produce. All right. Here. Let's see if I can, if I can do it. Mind Unlocked, energetic rap, bass heavy with hip-hop. Yo, it's the J-O-E Heavy AI. Here we go. It's E to the V to the Y to the AI on LinkedIn. Networking, building relationships. She wants to know how to see my videos. Vents, baby. Yeah. What? Oh, there was no post. No post for the most. If you wanna host, let me show you how to not ghost. Oh, Art said— Art said nice, better on my end. It ain't LoJo. Michael said it ain't LoJo. Uh, Michael, he's a man. I guess you You can't see it unless I repost it. Yeah, baby. I appreciate your insights. I thought it would be funny, unique, and vulnerable to attract— by the way, this adds a whole new level, like adding music. while I'm like networking on LinkedIn and building relationships. Adds a whole new layer. You guys like the idea? Let's see what this guy wants. He's from India. He said, he said he wants— I'm currently using MVR, but the limit is over. I'm looking into our paid plan. Is it possible to get it for $20 for the Monthly plan. The annual plan is actually less than $20. Um, here we go, here we go, here we go, here we go. Yo, my name is Joe And I'm leaving these comments. Yeah. Leaving these comments on LinkedIn. Taking time to rhyme for you. Why is this not— why is this not going? Oh, here we go.
Boom. Boom.
Beat it, oh. You know, when I, when I did the restream, it didn't actually create a post. That's why people are not finding it. You know what I mean? There's no post. That's why it doesn't show up on my feed. But I wonder how you guys found it. What did you do to find it? I mean, you have to go to events to find it. I could just show all events, and then I click on the actual event, and then I can see all the people commenting here. So there's obviously people watching it. Oh, it says there's 6 people watching it now. Let's go from Jennifer's profile. Jennifer. I'm gonna give it a heart, and then she could hit that repost button. Oh, it only does repost with thoughts. That's so weird. So weird. Copy link to post. Let me click on that. Oh man, there's no way to repost it unless I originally posted, because this is not even a post, it's just literally a livestream. There's no post here. Oh, she reposted a photo. Let me drop a comment. That's so good. By the way, did you guys like the music? Say I like the music or say I don't like the music. I'm curious to know if it's better if there's music while I'm, while I'm working. Actually, Let's see what people are saying here. Oh, Kelly said bring pads by. People freaked out for a while because they weren't joining groups. Actually like the content. It was messing with the algorithm. I got an app idea. Calling IP. You know what? Let's see if she wants to join my Zoom room. Let me ask Kelly if she wants to join. Uh, want to join me on Zoom? www.highenergyzoom.com. You guys want to join me on Zoom and talk on my live? I want to test out jumping on Zoom right now. Recording in progress. All right, so if anybody wants to join on Zoom, it's highenergyzoom.com. That's what it is. And this way you can— I can include you in the conversation here. I could probably drop you on the bottom here or something. Um, on the bottom here, bottom right corner here, like right over here. Like I can place you right here if you— oh, look at that, Ajax Union entered the room. Let me do a view. Admit all. Do we have a? Do I have a company meeting now? Let me see. Oh, I do have review with leadership. Hello. Hi, Joe.
Michael is connecting.
Okay, cool. I'm actually on LinkedIn Live right now, but I guess I can end the live if you guys unless you guys just want to be on live with me. You could be online. Hey, Michael. Michael, I'm on LinkedIn Live right now, and I have you guys on my Zoom on LinkedIn Live, but it's fine. We can talk. Just Just keep in mind that we're live and people are watching. They're watching my screen. Are you comfortable with that or do you wanna— So we're gonna be reviewing client assets. Okay. We probably shouldn't do that on live. Correct. Yeah, we can— And also I have an interview in just a few minutes. Could we move our review with leadership to later today or do we need to do it now? 'Cause if we need to do it now, I'll end my live. Uh, well, no, we'll find another time. Christine, let's hop on the other line and we'll figure it out. Thanks, Joe.
Thank you.
Okay. Um, does anybody want to join me on live here? Feel free to join me on my, on my Zoom. All right, moving on. Uh, looking forward to build relationships. Okay, so let's take a look at all the people that have That have been inviting me to connect on LinkedIn. There's a ridiculous amount of people here that have been inviting me to connect on LinkedIn. To actually take a look at this, there's over 1,000 people. One of the big concerns that people have on LinkedIn is that— the big, big concerns that people have is that they're afraid they're gonna be sold something. And so they don't accept people's connection requests. You know, one of the things that you can do on LinkedIn is you can actually, you can actually see if someone is likely to sell you something from their profile versus if they just want to build an actual relationship with you. Like you can tell from their profile. Like for example, it's going to, I came across your cloud task marketplace. Send me the details of your partner affiliate referral program. Let me take a look at this over here. He's from England. He's a VP of sales for the Point Company. 6 days ago he posted. I'm going to accept the connection request. And I'm going to say, using Evvy AI, can you do me a favor and tell me what link you saw me on so that I can It's not a happy birthday. I'm building a relationship. Okay. Hey, Kelly. Looks like Chef Kelly's joining us now. I'm gonna pin— I'm gonna pin Chef Kelly. Hey, Chef Kelly. I'm gonna put you on the side over here.
Hey, I just woke up. It's not even 7 here in LA yet.
Oh, you're— that's fine. It's a little early in LA.
Yeah, it's so funny. I always get your YouTube, um, live announcements because I, I literally wake up like 5 or 10 minutes before you go live most mornings.
Oh wow, and you get, you get a little notification when I go live?
Oh wait, hold on, I'm getting feedback.
Are you getting feedback because you're on, you're on the live also? You can mute the live if you want, or I can mute. Um, I can mute you, but I can't— you're muted to Zoom, so I can't hear you on Zoom. I can only hear you through Zoom.
Yeah, I got it now. I got it.
Yeah, yeah. Okay, so, um, where's my picture? Your picture? You want your picture on Zoom?
I just wondered where it went. I don't understand.
Sometimes it doesn't work. You have to be logged into Zoom and you have to have your picture on your account for your picture to appear. Okay, so what's cooking?
Oh, not much. I was just gonna ask you about the new videos I'm seeing on my phone. It's like this new fancy social media type stuff. And I didn't know—
You can swipe up.
Yeah. And it's got a whole different sort of, you know, algorithm and different content than my—
Yeah, I'll show you. I'll show you. I'll show you. So that's a new format that LinkedIn is rolling out to be more like TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
Yeah, I mean, well, I was just actually getting my content ready to To start to roll out and I didn't know if I have to upload it separately or not.
No, you don't have to upload separately. You just upload it as a regular video. You see, look at these, some of these videos. Like for example, this video over here, how do you come up with post ideas? I'm gonna play it real quick. How to come up with ideas for posts. There are so many people that are on—
It's so weird how your video is in my messages. It's cool.
Are the videos in your messages?
Uh-huh.
This video?
Yeah, it showed up when you said join my video or whatever. Yeah, I'm just watching it.
Oh, that's so cool. When I share this, you could just hit play right here and it starts working.
I'll take a screenshot for you.
Oh my God, that's so cool. That's so cool that the video starts playing.
And I know, oh man.
Oh, because I shared linkedin.com/video/live/the video post ID of the video. That's so cool. I wonder if I copy this and I put it into LinkedIn and I go to a random post, for example, this post over here, and then I take this activity idea ID and then I just paste this here like this and I go like that. Ah, this post cannot be displayed. So interesting.
What were you trying to do?
I was just trying to see a different way because You know, right now it's /video, the post that I sent you, and I wanted to do /update, /feed/update/url activity with the post ID here. But it's not an actual post, it's just a post of a video, so it doesn't allow you to do that. But it does embed nicely on LinkedIn, which is so super cool.
Will you let me interview you for my podcast?
Of course, I'd love for you to interview me for your podcast. I would love that. That's— I love getting interviewed for people's podcasts. It's so much fun. What would you— what are the questions that you would ask me?
Well, I would ask you about AI pretty much. And then if you'd want to talk about the food industry at all, or like, you know, maybe just—
Yeah, I'd be happy to.
Your favorite foods. And if you want a robot serving it to you, I guess.
I definitely want a robot serving it to me. By the way, I created a little robot that likes comments. So you see these comments? 1, 2, 3, 4 comments. Instead of me clicking like, like, like, like, like, I can click on this little L button on the top. I can check how many comments are found, and then I can say like all comments, and it just liked all the comments.
Oh God, I need to get Evie so bad. Oh, we were talking about you yesterday at Surfer AI.
Oh really?
Have you been around at all? Like coming to the meetings or anything?
I haven't. I have to start. coming to this stuff, but I haven't really made time for it.
So much has changed.
What has changed? Tell me.
Um, well, you know Dallas and Matt, right?
Yeah, I do.
So Matt, like, rolled out some new— remember how he had Coach Maddox, whatever that was for a while? He rolled out this whole new thing called Convert Wave or something that I'm not here to advertise anything because I don't even understand funnels. But people are saying it's better than, um, what is that one? Like, what is that one that everybody loves? The HigherLevel or whatever?
Yeah, yeah.
So, um, everyone's all gung-ho about that and everyone's trying to sell it and I'm just not interested in that. But, um, Dallas got, um, he's got a really cool, like, Content Remixer now. And so I'm starting, I'm starting some new content. I'm just trying his stuff out. And, you know, but oh, we were talking about you because—
Yeah.
Um, he was asking about the video feed and he was trying to pin down the demographic on LinkedIn and everybody kept chiming in and everyone had different like ideas. And I said, you know who you should call? I said, you should call Joe Apfelbaum because he had, I mean, he's got it dialed in. He knows the demographic on LinkedIn. And so Dallas said he might reach out to you.
Yeah, yeah, he has my cell phone number. He— we speak every once in a while anyway. So cool. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, he's a nice guy.
You should call Matt. Just—
Matt, what's his last name?
Crouch or something like that.
Matt Crouch, like that?
Or Crouch. Maybe I'm getting their last names mixed up.
Is it this guy?
Matt and Dallas were the, you know, the Is anybody hearing us right now? I feel bad.
I don't know if anybody's. Why are you feeling bad? We're having a conversation with people.
Like I don't want to.
People love people.
Like I said, I don't want to be like I'm soliciting something to your viewers.
Do you do? Do you think?
Although they should join the AI server because I love that.
Do you think I care if you solicit something to my viewers? Do you honestly think I care? Like you could solicit whatever you want. Channel. You could literally solicit anything you want to anybody or anytime under my comments anywhere you want.
You were telling me about how that one woman or not me you're telling. your pod, um, your live people about how that one woman said stop, um, yeah, advertising on my comments page.
I believe in abundance, not scarcity. So I believe that there's enough for everybody, and if somebody wants something, they'll go buy it. Do you think that because you mentioned something, someone's gonna bother to even type it in? Like, people are just so lazy. People are just so like, uh, you know?
Yeah.
People are just so lazy.
So question, you said not to put links in my posts, right?
Yeah. Can I—
can I put the name of my YouTube channel in there? Just the name of it?
Like, you could put the name of your YouTube channel in your posts. But you know, the key is for you to build a conversation with your audience. And also, you haven't posted in months.
I know. Well, that's the thing is I'm— I was waiting to get my content all squared away. I'm— just start posting on my YouTube. Long form, I'm cutting it up. And so I guess my question is—
I would just say start taking action. Stop worrying so much about that. You can use— you can do text-only posts. You can do whatever you want and start building a relationship with people. You build a relationship by leaving comments. Like if I take a look at how many comments you actually left, I see 12 minutes ago you left me a comment. That's cool. Bring pods back. I left a comment. But besides that, you haven't done it in a month. I do recommend that you just spend 15 minutes a day posting, engaging, and commenting. And if you do that, you're much more likely to be successful at what you're doing.
Yeah. Show me if you want. I want to see when you have it craft it for you. Like you gave it some ideas for—
Yeah, it's really easy to do. Yeah, it's really easy. Idea generator, you're gonna say LinkedIn for the food industry. Right. You just click on this little microphone.
Like AI and food and stuff like that.
Yeah. Yeah. So LinkedIn for the food industry or AI for the food industry. And then it gives me a bunch of ideas here. You see that?
Yeah.
And then you click on generate post and then it'll take that idea and turn it into a hook, main points, call to action, and hashtags for you in literally just 1 second.
