edition of Joe Does LinkedIn. In this LinkedIn Live, I'm gonna be showing you some simple AI automation tips that will help take your life and your business to a whole new level. But first, let me reply to some comments on LinkedIn. The way that I like to reply to some comments on LinkedIn is to go to see who commented on my posts recently and give a reply. Now, the problem is that I don't know what to say in my reply, and I'm also in middle of doing a coworking session.
Mm-hmm.
With the wonderful Steve Duke and Jason Crawford, and they're watching this on Zoom right now. So if you wanna join them on Zoom, say, I want to join. We meet 6 times a month through our AI and LinkedIn automation community, and I'm showing them how to do a LinkedIn Live right now. And so they're learning along with me as I'm doing it. Now, what I always tell people is if you want AI to sound like you, You have to train it to sound like you. So in my case, I made a special comment reply called a typo comment because I typically have a lot of typos. So I told AI to leave a typo, but I told it to do it in a way that's really, you really can't tell that there's a typo. 'Cause maybe one of these words have an extra Y or an extra E, like a common typo that most people don't really realize, but to the keen eye, they'll find the typos. And so I tell it to do a typo and also to, if it's leaving a comment, maybe to leave a comment related to Evie AI or something like that. And I actually got somebody got really upset at me recently for talking about Evie AI under her posts. I promptly disconnected from her. And I said, thank you for letting me know. I'm not going to fuel the fire and start complaining or whatever. But bottom line is, if you haven't marketed yourself hard enough, then no one's gonna complain about you. So that's how you know that you're doing a great job at marketing. If somebody complains before noon, you know that you are doing a good job marketing. And so I, I set this AI that will automatically respond to people's posts and include a link to Evvy AI. So check this out. It's gonna generate a post. And it's, you see it says eviai.com here. Um, great insights, Tom. Efficient bookmark bookkeeping is critical to growth at eviai.com. We're excited how AI can streamline these processes. Keep up the great work. I press comment. Now she got upset that Eviai landed in her comments. So I was like, if someone is such a generous person that is not gonna allow me to mention my own company name in my comment that I left to give her additional promotion, then she doesn't deserve to be my connection, period. And so I removed her from my connections and there you go. Now I have an extra slot for you. She was 29,995 and now I'm 29,994 'cause I removed her. So there you go. So I love removing connections on LinkedIn and I love doing AI. So let me actually show you a simple automation. So if you go to twitter.com/joeapelbaum, you'll notice that I have, that I have tweets that are going out. You see, this is a tweet. This was from October 23rd, a couple days ago. So if I want AI to tweet for me every single day, I have many different options. I could use marketing automation technology like unlimiteddigitalmarketing.com. I can click on marketing and then I can set recurring posts. So you see I have a monthly recurring posts. So if I set 30 monthly recurring posts, every single day I'd have a post going out automatically. So I would set one recurring post for each day of the month and I'd have 30 of them and they would schedule themselves. So that's one way to do it. So I know Jason, um, you have access to this software.
solution. Mm-hmm.
So if you wanted your Twitter, your Facebook, your Instagram, your LinkedIn, your YouTube to be updated automatically every day or every month or every week, you can have AI just write you all those and then boom. And, you know, just put, put it there and then you'll have a monthly post. You can do a quarterly post if you want, whatever. The bottom line is you can set up your social media where it's automatic and you can have as many posts as you want, as many automations as you want using this tool. And it doesn't cost extra. That's why we call it Unlimited Digital Marketing. If you want to have the AI write the actual tweet, right? You can have the AI write the tweet. I would use a solution called make.com, M-A-K-E.com, and I would have it write tweets for me. So, or write LinkedIn posts for me automatically as an agent. So the way that that would work is you create a scenario, I'll show you how to create a scenario real quick. You create a new scenario here and then you tell ChatGPT to write you a tweet. So you can say message an assistant. Have you guys ever used this before? Or message a, create a completion. And in this completion you tell it how many max tokens it should use. I'm going to say give me a max tokens of 500 tokens. Use the model. I have many different models I can choose from here, but I'm just going to use GPT-4 Mini system. And then I'm going to add a message. I'm going to give it the role of user, and I'm going to say, create a tweet about the benefits of using AI and automation to grow your business. So you might say, Joe, it's gonna create a separate tweet every single day related to this. Yes, you could do it every day, or you can tell, you can give it, you can feed it the topic from another AI or from a spreadsheet. You can have a list of topics on a spreadsheet. You can rotate the list or whatever you want. But in this case, I'm just gonna show you how to automate this. So this can run every day. You see over here at regular intervals. every day. You can set the time of the day that you want it to run. So say for example it'll run at 12. 12, let's say now it's 12:19, we're gonna do 12:30. Press OK. PM. Press OK. And now I hit save. I can turn it on. So this will run every single day at 12:30 PM. You see that? Now it's on. Now if I want, I can add another thing That says Twitter. Oh, it's X now. So I press X and I can do create a post. And then I can get the content of the post from the previous module. You see that message content? And it's gonna put the content as a tweet. So it's gonna tweet and post the tweet. And then I can say, put it into a spreadsheet or put it into LinkedIn or make it into a LinkedIn post. You see what I'm saying?
Yes.
Create a tweet and post, and post on link on Twitter. Okay, so now I save this, and if I let this run, it'll write the tweet and post it on Twitter. Now what I would do is instead of just giving a crappy prompt like this, I would work off an assistant. And you can go into platform.openai.com and create an assistant. If you guys have never done that, I recommend doing that. And you train the assistant on who you are based on your books, based on your business, based on whatever. And instead of creating a chat completion, you just chat with an assistant and you choose the assistant from your account. So for example, I can choose when I'm creating the thing, I can choose the assistant and I can show you exactly how to do that. But for right now, we're not going to do that right now. Maybe I'll make a separate video on that, but I just wanted to show you how easy it is to do a tweet. So I'm going to right-click on this. I'm going to hit run this module only, and it's going to run it and it's going to say, embrace the power of AI and automation and elevate your business. Streamline processes, boost productivity, and enhance customer experiences, all while saving time and reducing costs. It's not just the trend, it's the future of growth. Okay. So it made the tweet. Do you see it made the tweet, but it didn't post it to Twitter because I only ran this module only. Remember I right-clicked and ran this module only. If I then run the entire automation, I'm gonna hit run once. It's actually gonna run it and it's gonna try to post it on Twitter and it failed. It said forbidden. You are not permitted to run this. Okay. I don't know why it gave me that error. I would have to look into this, but instead of running it to Twitter directly, I'm going to delete this module. And instead I'm going to add it to Buffer. Do you guys know what Buffer is? Buffer is a tool that allows you to buffer the posts. So instead of it going directly, it's going to, uh, go into Buffer and then I can select X. And I can put the text in and then it'll just go into a queue. So even if it does it every 5 minutes, it'll just fill up my whole queue over here. It says post immediately. I can say, don't post immediately. In this case, I'm going to let it post immediately, but I can just say, add it to the queue instead. Okay. And it has all of my stuff connected to it. It has my Instagram, my Facebook, my LinkedIn, whatever. All right. So now I'm going to hit save. I'm gonna hit run once and let's see if it does it. Now it says, uh, gimme an error too. It looks like the message is too long for Twitter. Oops. The message is too long.
Okay.
So what I need to do is I need to say, make it less than a certain amount of characters, right? I'm gonna go in here, create a tweet about the benefits of using AI and automation. Make sure the tweet is less than 240 characters, including the 3 hashtags you include. Okay, and I'm going to press OK. I'm going to press Save. I'm going to hit Run Once, and now it's posting it to Twitter. Okay, so now I just posted it to Twitter, and it's going to do this every day at 12:30. It's gonna cost me 2 credits to do this, and I get 10,000 credits for $100 a year. So 10,000 a month for $100 a year. That's the cost of make.com. Okay, so now I'm on LinkedIn Live showing you guys how to do this to Twitter, but you can do this to Facebook, to Instagram, to LinkedIn, to wherever you want. But do you get what I'm saying? Now, if I wanted to add an image to this, I would add an image generator right here. I would add another filter that generates an image. So it would write the, it would write the tweet. Generate the image from the tweet, and then it would send both the image and the tweet to Buffer, and then would do that. Let's just see what this looks like here. See if the tweet loaded. Unlock your business potential with AI and automation. Boost productivity, streamline process, enhance customer experience, embrace the future, and watch your growth soar. But do you understand how simple that automation was? I didn't write this tweet. AI wrote the tweet. And I can have it just keep tweeting as often as I want. I can tweet every second if I want. Now, if I want, here's another thing I can do is I can add the topic from Perplexity. So I just go in here, I type in Perplexity. Have you guys heard of Perplexity? Mm-hmm. So I go to Perplexity.
It's pulled from Google, right?
Yeah, from Google. So I'm gonna say, This one's fine. I'm going to do max tokens of, let's say, 500, temperature 0.07. I'm going to add the message. I'm going to say content will be— I'm just going to say, come up with a topic related to LinkedIn and AI. Automation based on the current news. Only return the topic and nothing else. User, press OK, hit Run. Let's see what it gives me. Message, come up with a topic. Let's see, choices. Message, leveraging LinkedIn's automatic to accelerate campaigns based on B2B strategy and efficiency. Okay. Current news and trends. I'm going to change this to current news and trends. Come up with a topic that is under 20 words related to AI and automation. Based on current news and trends. Okay, let's run this again. See what it comes up with. Choices, message, the impact of multimodal AI in the workplace. Beautiful. Okay, now instead of me, I'm gonna disconnect this. I'm gonna unlink this. I'm gonna grab this little thing and this one will be the one that starts us off. You see? That's how you know which one starts us off, whichever one has a little clock thing here. I got 4 minutes till this thing runs automatically and I turn into a pumpkin, so we better hurry up. Now I'm gonna click in here and I'm gonna take the news I got from Perplexity and I'm gonna inject it into ChatGPT to create the tweet. Do you get what I'm doing? So I'm gonna go in here, create a tweet about, about, and then I'm gonna put in, where it says Choices, Message, Content. Okay, I'm gonna delete the rest of the stuff right here. So now About, Create a Tweet, and I'm gonna put a Create a Conversational Tweet. Okay, so now I'm gonna press OK. I'm gonna press Save. Should we run this thing and see if we get one related to trends? I'm gonna hit run once. Let's see what happens. Is this fascinating that we're doing this in real time right now, building this out? If you guys think this is fascinating, say fascinating in the chat. Curious to know who thinks this is fascinating. All right, let's just go back to Twitter and see what was tweeted just now. Exciting times ahead. The rise of multimodal AI and small language models is set to enhance accessibility and efficiency for everyone. Let's embrace this in the tech revolution. I'm gonna give myself a heart for that one. That's a that's a really clever tweet. Okay, now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go ahead and ask it to be clever and make it rhyme because that's what I like to do. I'm gonna go here and I'm gonna say create a conversational tweet about it. Make sure the tweet is you include. I'm gonna say make it very clever. And make it rhyme so people smile. All right, let's just see what that looks like. Save, run once, and let's see what we got going on over here. Refresh. In 2024, AI's rise, jobs will shift to many surprise. With the tasks more automated and our time well spent, productivity soars and stress is bent.
Okay.
Cute. Cute. And by the way, I can have it, I can go in here and basically change the tone. I can create a randomizer that will give it 20 different tones or 20 different styles, and it'll randomly pick a style. And based on that, ChatGPT will, it'll change the prompt based on the style. Do you get what I'm saying? So if I right-click here, I can do set multiple variables. Check this out. And, um, see, this is what we need a Make Engineer in the room for. This is why I typically have a Make Engineer here. But if I wanted to add a module, I would do set multiple variables, add an item, and I would do Tone 1 Conversational. I would add an item, tone 2. I would do, um, professional. And then what I can do is I can inject, I can have a randomizer pick which one from here. I can pick one of these 2 depending just randomly. You get what I'm saying? I can have a list of variables of tones and then I can pick them randomly out. I'm not going to do it now. But that's something that I should have a Make engineer help me kind of put together. I'm going to click on this little auto-align button. It auto-aligns them. If you move them around and it goes like that, and you're not sure where anything is, and things are off screen, and you want to align it, click on auto-align and it aligns the whole thing nicely. I'm going to hit save. And now it's saved this. If I want to export this blueprint so that I can put it inside our community and you guys can access this, I click on the 3 dots. And I do export blueprint and it exports it right here. I'm gonna right-click on the blueprint. I'm gonna do show in folder, then I'm gonna name it and I'm gonna do AI automation for Twitter with Perplexity and ChatGPT. Okay, so now I have the blueprint. If you want to take this blueprint and import it after, all you gotta do is click on these 3 dots. And do import blueprint. You just go to school.com/aiautomation, and then you just go to the the community with the replay, and you can download it. And boom, there you go. All right, for those of you watching this live, thank you very much for watching. I'm going to just quickly check. Oh, here's one more tip for Jason and Steve and anybody else watching. If you're on LinkedIn and you want to see during your own live what's cooking on your live, you can do it through Restream and see if. if there's any comments here. You see, Solomon gave me a bunch of smiles. Dharma said fascinating. Grace said fascinating. You see that? But if I want to see it real time on LinkedIn, I have to go to LinkedIn, click on show all posts, and then I can see who's watching. I can see who's commenting and so on. You see, I have a bunch of people commenting, and then I can go ahead and reply to this. If you try to reply to it at any other place other than your recent activity, It's gonna fail. I don't know, LinkedIn is, is broken in that way. So I'm gonna say, thank you so much. You can join us at www.school.com/AIautomation. Auto AI automation. Okay, I press reply. Now if I want the AI to automatically write that, What I would do is I would select a persona that already promotes the AI Automation Community. So which one would that be? That would be this one right here. You see that? I'm going to generate. Glad you found this fascinating. Oh, this one promotes the EvAI Community. Okay, but do you see that I have different ones that promote the different communities? Right built into it. I don't have to actually do it. The call to action's in there. Oh, and you guys are curious to see what that looks like. All right, I can show you what that looks like. So let's go into my eviai.com. Let's click login on the left side. Let's click on personas. Let's wait till they load and then I'll show you what the actual personas look like. All right, so these are all my personas. I'm going to show you 50 at a time. But look at this. You see one that promotes school. So look how it typed up the thing itself. I'm going to click on edit. Act as Joe Apfelbaum and leave a comment that is under 30 words. Make it relevant to the topic and invite them to join the community called AI for LinkedIn. Include the URL of the community as follows. You can mention that we also have tutorials, blah, blah, blah, and end with the word boom. So I'm going to copy this right here. I'm going to go to personas. I'm going to add a new persona. I'm going to type in AI Automation School. I'm going to paste this in instead of school.com/avi.ai. I'm going to do school.com/ai-automation. I'm actually going to leave a comment on there, make it relevant to the topic. Going to community called AI LinkedIn Automation. Include the URL to the community. It's how we build a Premium community on school for anyone that wants to learn. For anyone that wants. Okay, I'm going to talk now because for anyone that wants to learn how to use LinkedIn automation and AI automation. Do you see the way that I spoke to this and AI typed it up for me?
Could you explain what you just did there, Joe?
To type it up? Yeah, the speaking part. Yeah, so Windows has a built-in, uh, speaking thing. Do you use Windows or Mac, Steve?
Um, Windows now.
So you see it says where it says start typing, press Windows+H. Go ahead and do that on your computer. Press Windows+H. What comes up?
I just trans— I just, I just translated over to Windows, so I'm still learning my way around it.
Okay, cool. Yeah, we can do tutorials on Windows if you want, like how to use Windows. But if you do, you know, you know the Windows key next to the Control button?
Uh, I think I just saw it.
Yeah, if you press it, what happens?
If I'm pressing the right one, a bunch of tools come up.
Exactly. If you press that and you press the H key, what happens?
Now we've got Microsoft Speech Services.
Exactly. And then you have to like approve it, say yes, I agree, whatever.
Okay.
And then when you press it, whatever text box you're in, When you press the microphone, it'll, whenever you talk, it'll type into that box.
Okay. Thank you. Yeah.
LinkedIn automation, how to use LinkedIn automation and AI automation like make.com strategies for growing your business. We have an event calendar with events we are hosting at least 6 times a month. Don't act promotional, end with the word boom. Okay, I'm going to press save. Tag is required. Okay, whatever, I'm going to do friendly. Save persona, and now I just created a new persona, you see that? with call to action. So if I go into LinkedIn and I wanna reply to Solomon promoting the AI Automation Community, look how easy it's gonna be for me to promote the AI Automation Community. I gotta refresh. When you put a new persona in, you gotta refresh the page in order for it to work. So I'm gonna hit reload. Otherwise it doesn't appear because we cached the personas. I'm just going to see if it appears now. AI Automation School right here. Maybe it was there and I didn't see it. Great insights on AI automation. If you're looking to dive deeper, check out the tutorials. We host events and help you grow. Boom. See that? That was a promotional thing. So if I did that under your post, Jason, would you get upset at me if I put a link to this under your posts?
I, uh, no, don't overly mind because again, you're promoting my post and keeping it alive. So yeah.
So you're not like that lady that got really angry at me for posting. Um, I didn't, and I didn't even promote that. I just, I mentioned the word Evie AI on my post and she got pissed. Isn't it interesting how some people just get upset? For those things. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much for watching this. We're going to end this live so I can teach the community members how I end the live and what I do with it after. But if you got value from this, write value and hit that repost button. I'm going to teach you how to hit that repost button right now in case you don't know. So for example, if I'm on Tammy's profile and I go to LinkedIn, and whenever you go to LinkedIn, you see, you know, like my connections see that I'm live. So this is how you hit the repost button. You hit the light bulb and then you click on the word repost. If you're watching on the TV feed, you press repost. And now Tammy just reposted this live. If you want to leave a comment, just say, thank you for all that you do, love this video. And you can tag me, press mention. And now Tammy just commented on my video and she reposted it. Now you might be wondering, How do you post on LinkedIn? Very, very quickly, I'm going to teach you how to post on LinkedIn. So the way that you post on LinkedIn is, let's say you have a video. For example, I have this video over here and I want to post. There's an organic method to getting clients online without spending money on advertising. You'll notice that people are posting content here. If you're following people that are your ideal clients on LinkedIn, there's this tool called Evie AI. What you need to do is you need to leave comments on their posts. There's an organic— Okay, so now I'm gonna write a post right now. So it's gonna take me about 3 seconds to write a post. I'm gonna go to the post writer with Evy AI, and I'm gonna say, write a post about the benefits of using LinkedIn organically and not spending money on ads by leaving comments on LinkedIn. To get more clients. I'm going to press generate. It's going to write up a whole post with a hook, main points, call to action, and hashtags. Then I'm going to go to LinkedIn. I'm going to go to LinkedIn. I'm going to click on start a post. I'm going to add the video I just downloaded from my video editor. See, I downloaded this video. I'm going to press next. I'm going to go into Evvy AI, copy the content that I created. And by the way, this works on mobile too. So if you go to Evvy AI from your mobile browser, This will work just fine on mobile. This is great content over here. I'm going to go back to LinkedIn, paste it, read it, make sure it looks good. Want to unlock the true potential of LinkedIn without spending a dime on— okay. So instead, I thought this was a little bit tighter. I'm just going to tighten it up. Found this helpful? Give us a like, share, blah, blah, blah. And I'm going to press post and it's going to post this video. So you see it's uploading the video. So I just posted the video on my profile. Now, the reason I'm posting video on LinkedIn, just so you guys know before I wrap up, is because video is an extremely powerful tool that gets seen by many, many people. And when people see your video, They are more likely to want to do business with you because now they know who you are. They actually see you. And so my recommendation is to start posting video on LinkedIn on a regular basis. And when you go live, like the way I'm going live right now, you can have AI or a video editor go ahead and start creating videos like this one. So this video right here that you guys see, That I posted actually was a previous LinkedIn Live, and I'll show it to you right now. If you want to see all my lives, you go to my profile, you scroll down to where it says events. See, under my recent activity, it says events here. Let's see if you can find me wearing that cap. So we're going to go down. You see this video here? This is a 38-minute video turned into a half dozen 1-minute clips. So this video right here of me on LinkedIn Live, you start living under the posts of— So you see, I got 25 likes, 10 comments, 4 reposts on this video, and people are loving this video. But now I'm going to repurpose it and I'm going to use, um, use these short-form videos I'm gonna click on videos. Do you see this video here? This video came from that live, but it was because I did it in this particular format using Restream and OBS and all these tools that allowed me to do this. Now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take this post that I posted. I'm gonna go into my messages and then I'm gonna send it in the comments to other people here. See this, I'm part of some group messages, and I could send this inside those group messages to these people here. See that? And as a result, these people will see it and be more likely to want to comment on these posts. Let's say, just posted. Now when you send a post, just posted a new video, Now I'm gonna use Evie AI. Check this out. We have a new feature in Evie AI that I want you guys to know about that is coming out very, very soon. But check this out. Just posted a new video and I wanted you guys to see it because this video came from a LinkedIn Live that I did. So if you leave a like and you leave a comment, that would be greatly appreciated. I'm gonna press insert and I just left the video, but then I left a voice note that was typed up by Evie AI. How cool is that? So that'll be available very soon. I'm just testing it out now. But guys, if you want that microphone, just write microphone in the chat and I'll be more than happy to add it to your account when it's live. I'll talk to you guys soon.
