I know, I know. It sounds like, you know, the truth is the way that I would look at it is like, why don't you just freelance and do like a project for somebody and get paid to do something that you love doing. Like, for example, you know what I love doing? I love making images of people using AI.

I decided to launch a human-powered virtual photo shoot. That's literally what I did, a human-powered virtual photo shoot. And then what happened was people started saying, I want to pay for it, I want to buy it. And I have over 25 customers that I've just generated images and they pay between a couple dollars to $100 per person. So I made thousands of dollars from literally making photos of people with AI.

Which I love to do anyway. I mean, I would do it for free. So if you hang around and see what I'm up to, you can come up with an idea for something that you can do, even if you're not very tech savvy. You can easily come up with something.

I think I'm okay. I think I'm okay. I'm, I'm, I'm one of those weird people who find a way to make it work.

So that's amazing. That's amazing. And especially if you have like a community around you of people, then, then you could like automatically make money because people need help. You know what I mean?

Yeah. I just, like I said, I'm, I'm, I'm learning. I'm learning different things too. It's just a matter of— I'm— my background, I'm a writer, so I'm a writer, but I've also done design before. So I'm just, I'm just looking at it, you know, from a big picture. What, how can I use this? What could I do with this? How will this help me? So I really appreciate it. And then I'm, um, it's just, it's very, you know, it's just, it's just one of those things. It's like on top of everything else I'm trying to do. So.

Right, right. So to cut through the clutter, the way that I look at it is I look at it like if I can be focused, because, you know, where focus goes, energy flows. If I can be focused, because there's so much to do with AI and with LinkedIn and with all this stuff. If I could just be focused on one thing and build myself something that I can do without being overwhelmed, that could be a very powerful process. That's the— that's like the idea behind what I'm— what I'm building. I'm building an artificial intelligence assistant that assists people to network better online.

Okay, wonderful. LinkedIn is a really great place to be able to find people that are hiring for roles like that. Um, if you want to—

It's a little more complex than people say if you have a job. So if you don't have a job and you want to try it, it's a lot more complex than people think.

I hear you. I hear you. So like behind the scenes Secret Service type of find a job like the spy, like a 007 find a spy so you don't get in trouble at work type of thing?

No, no, no. I was let go from my job in a restructure. So no, I'm looking for a job, but I spend 6 to 8 hours a day on LinkedIn and it's much more complex than people believe, right? I would agree. I would agree.

But here's something I tell everybody. The right strategy will save you a decade. What that means is you can spend 8 hours a day, but if you had the right tools, the right technologies, and the right strategies, you would save a lot of time, especially if some of those strategies are completely free. You know what I mean?

Sure. Yeah.

But, you know, for me, it's all about getting people into community because I believe that when people are in community and they're building relationships with each other, that's when they create opportunity for each other. So if you, if you had 50 to 100 people that were super active on LinkedIn and had great networks, your, your chances of finding a job are exponentially higher. If you're posting regularly on LinkedIn, your chances of finding a job are higher because people are noticing you. So there's a, there's a combination of activities, especially now that you don't— you're not really gainfully employed right now. There's an opportunity. Um, I'm also doing a class on, um, called, called a webinar. I'm doing a class on Tuesday. You know what I mean? Like, it's because everyone on LinkedIn is a prospect. So like, you're like, oh my God, I have people that would use this. You know, like whether they want to generate images or they want to generate posts or comments or messages or do research on people or whatever it is, like that's extremely powerful to be able to have that at your fingertips, if you know what I mean.

No, no. Yeah, I agree. I agree. So you've sent me the information in text and so I can go look at it and then reach out back. Okay.

Yeah. Yeah. And you could attend any of our events. We have lots of events. We have events actually every day. So you can attend our events, see what's going on. And, uh, and I'm curious to also know, like, what are you doing on LinkedIn for 8 hours a day? Like, you're spending—

oh, I'm just saying I'm not on it. I'm not actually looking at it all day long. I'm spending much more time with, um, talking to my network, looking at different things. Like, I— the company that I worked for for 12 years, I mean, they paid for me to have LHH, which is, you know, um, kind of like an outplacement services company. Oh, nice. Yeah. So they have— they— I work with those guys and, you know, they tell you all the things. You're supposed to write 12 words on a comment. You're supposed to post, you're supposed to change up all your keywords so often. You're so— it's just, you know, that LinkedIn rewards people who are active. Yeah, it's true. So, you know, been doing some of, some of those kind of things and then working on working with my network and continuing to rebuild my network because I was so busy for 12 years working. I didn't spend a lot of time on my network.

It's a big problem that people have is that they don't— they work. Yeah, they're working in their job, they feel secure, and they Let go of their entire network, you know?

Correct, correct. And so I have, you know, I worked for Fortune 500, I worked for Advance Auto, which, you know, has people that are all over the world. So I have connections that are all over the world to have. Nice. I've worked with, but it's rebuilding those connections and what jobs do they have. And I need to be remote. I can't leave where I'm living here in Virginia right now. So it's not, it's not like I live in Washington, DC or New York where there's 1,000 jobs for, for Yeah. You know, these type of roles. So it makes it a lot more complex. So, you know, I mean, I'm reaching out to other people and I'm looking for—

It doesn't take much to post on LinkedIn, especially if you have thousands of followers. If you're not posting regularly, that's— there's an opportunity there to post, but understanding the best way to do it is key. Mm-hmm. So like you can connect with 30,000 people. Did you know that?

Yeah, I know that. Some of my friends have done that.

That's crazy. And if you have a lot of friends that have a lot of connections, then those are the relationships you need to build to be able to find your next opportunity. by understanding how to use AI with LinkedIn, understanding all the different hacks, understanding how to build real relationships instead of hoarding connections. So those are kind of some of the stuff that we're teaching. Um, and we actually have a class on Tuesday at 1:00 PM if you're free and loose, as you mentioned.
