Picking up the phone and calling them is a competitive advantage, and most people are really scared of doing that. If you're straight to the point and they know who you are, then the chances of you being successful— But master the LinkedIn algorithm to drive lead generation. He said there's a 5-step social selling process, which is identify your ideal clients, engage before outreach, trust and build credibility, and convert to business meetings. The 5 C's framework— connect, contribute, create, convert— those are keywords that you put in there which don't comply with LinkedIn's terms and conditions. So they write, if you add any other words to your name, they can restrict your account. So your account is literally at risk of being restricted, and then you might not be able to get it back. You can change your pronoun from he/him, she/her into a custom pronoun, and you could put that the word Coffee with Mike over there because if you put some random things as your name, that is against LinkedIn's terms and conditions and they can ban you for that. On your most recent post, you included a link to whatever you're linking there in the post and according to the influencers in the summit, they all said do not include a link in the post because LinkedIn's not gonna show that post on the feed. So as you can see, you had very little action on the post and chances are it wasn't because the post wasn't good, chances are it was Because you simply, whatchamacallit, you simply included a link inside the post. So my recommendation is to not include a link inside the post, which will help the post get out there more. Instead, take the link and put the link inside the comments. Picking up the phone and calling them is a competitive advantage. And most people are really scared of doing that, of picking up the phone and calling them. And the reason people are afraid to do it is because they don't understand the value of actually having a relationship. They think that they're interrupting somebody when in reality is if they actually picked up, you're not interrupting them. They picked up because they're available to speak to you. And if you're straight to the point and they know who you are and you're not BSing them, then the chances of you being successful are much higher. Every high-performing post should have a hook, main points, call to action, and it should be formatted with using white space. Really powerful. LinkedIn posts previews Only show the first 3 lines including spaces. So if your first 3 lines don't really grab attention, how are you supposed to be successful? When you put 2 emojis on your hook, that shows that it's AI. For most people, they're like, oh my God, that's AI. So I would, I would refrain from quoting your hook and putting emojis on it. Really try to figure out what is—
Today I'm gonna talk about—
What is the issue? So here's a video, for example, that I'm gonna be posting now on LinkedIn with Jasmine's information. Check this out.
About something I'm very passionate about, which is creating content on LinkedIn Today's topic is psychology, and I feel like it is one of those things that's super duper underrated on LinkedIn because everyone is so focused on the algorithm. Everyone goes super deep into the topic of sales psychology, human behavior, the most overlooked thing on LinkedIn. Let me show you why. Because on LinkedIn, you can check this anywhere you want on mobile, on desktop, on tablet. Check this anywhere you want. The post preview on LinkedIn is only 3 lines long. Signposting has been around for hundreds of years. It comes from academia, actually. And I did it immediately in my hook. By the way, you don't need to do this in your hook. You can do this anywhere in the post. You don't just do it once. You can do it 5 times in a post. Remember all 3, please. Number 1, the 3-line rule. Number 2, use signposting. And number 3, the TED Talk moment. Thank you, everyone.

how I create a post about this right now. So I'm going to take the key takeaways just like this. You see that? I'm going to take all my notes from the key takeaways, press copy, or I can just drag them in here just like this. I'm going to click on start a new post. You see that? Now I'm going to click on this add media button. I'm going to take the Jasmine video right over here. I'm going to press next, upload the video. I'm going to comment this. I'm going to take this video right here, just like this. And I'm gonna paste it in here. And that didn't come out right. I'm gonna press copy this, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+V. Okay, that worked better. Okay. So it gave me a few hooks, but I'm just gonna say the 3-line rule by Jasmine Alec, here's what I've found. I'm gonna say, did you watch the influencer?
