And here are things that you can do right now, how to implement it, and then I put a bunch of links from templates that I had, and I'm gonna hit send. I'm gonna press next. Now I need to create a post about this. I had to create a post about it. I'm gonna click on our AI writer here. I'm gonna choose, instead of post enhancer, I'm gonna choose a posting template. And then I'm going to just copy some text in here from the article, and it's gonna write a solid post for me. That I can easily insert right over here. Do you see? It's even going to include Unicode. But back in the day when we used to have receptionists or, you know, dial-by-name, everything I subscribed to, I would subscribe as Pierce English. So I'd get salespeople calling, you know, I'd get 5 of them a day, right?

And so then on Tuesday mornings when we did our sales calls, I would sit— I had, I had 8 sales reps, and we'd sit around and we'd listen to the Pierce voicemails. Joe, would you ever, would you ever return this guy's voicemail? Why or why not?

And it was real for live voicemails from salespeople trying to sell me stuff.

Of course, of course.

And if they were really good, I'd call them back and try to recruit them.

Of course. That's such a good idea. That's such a good idea. Of course it is. Of course you did that. That's so smart. I was just literally having a conversation with ChatGPT this morning to ask it about how I can benefit from when someone calls me out of the blue. Like, what is the benefit that I can have? And it said, you know, initially it said, oh, you can listen to their products and services and learn more about them and see if they can add value to you. And I said, no, no, no, no, no. How can I benefit from them? Really benefit. Like if I wanted them, let's say, to like my comment, my posts on LinkedIn, or to do some activity. So it started getting me, giving me a list of things that I can put them to work to do now that I have you on the phone, you know?

Yeah. Well, I mean, they're trying to sell you something so you could literally, yeah, you could literally tell them to like you and post a particular Yeah, it said tell them to write up a whole thing about you on social media.

I just thought it was hilarious. I was like, oh my God, like, that is so funny that I can say, now that I have you on the phone, I might as well— you may as well already write a post about how amazing I am on LinkedIn and tag me to all your connections.

Yeah, exactly.

It's just fantastic. It's just fantastic. Um, we do have a posting party tomorrow at 10 AM. Um, if you want to come, you're welcome to come. I'm happy to send you a message. Once you connect with me on LinkedIn, I'll send you a message inviting you if you're open to it, because I sent you a connection request.

Yeah, I attempted a connection request several months ago. You know, it's funny you say that because what you say, what you teach is when you do the connection request, you know, put something about them, follow them, all that kind of stuff. And, and I've, I've done all that, and I've also done the just hit the connect button, and I get more people connecting with no message at all. And so, you know, so when I sent you one 100 years ago, I didn't send you a message. And then I saw one of the, one of the, one of the webinars you did, you say if somebody doesn't put a message in there, I never connect with them. And I said, ah, well, there you go. That's why you didn't connect.

Unless, unless they, unless they comment on my stuff consistently, then I'll know who they are. You know what I mean? Because I'll know who they are and they'll be like, oh, and I'll see a pending connection request.

Well, and you only have a handful left, right? Yeah.

So I just remove people and add them and so on. Yeah.

Yeah, exactly. And it's interesting, you know, so I listened to your perspective on it. And, you know, and I track, you know, 10 other people that I pay a lot of attention to also. And, you know, like Yasmin, you had him, you know, and I've been following him forever. And so it's interesting to get different perspectives from people. And it's like anything else, you got to test it, see what works, you know.

Yeah.

And so anyway, and, you know, something that I'm kind of curious about is I, I was listening to— every morning when I'm at the gym, I'll listen to a podcast.

Okay.

And it'll, it'll either be, uh, it'll either be AI or it'll be LinkedIn, you know, LinkedIn stuff, right? And these people are talking about, well, it's easier to get your first 10,000 people in India because everybody in India clicks and does everything. And once you get to 10,000, then you kind of turn off the Indian thing and you basically do your American connections.

Well, I wouldn't say that it's easier to get people in India to accept your connection request. You know, there's a lot of people that are in India that don't really use LinkedIn. They have an account, but they don't really use it. It's more about finding the people that are actually engaged and figuring out who those people are. It doesn't have to be in India. My recommendation is find people that are engaged in your target market. And I would rather have 1,000 engaged people than 10,000 just random.

I agree 100%, and that's exactly my thought process, is I am not gonna have 30,000 connections just for the sake of having 30,000 connections.

Correct. That's something you can do over a decade.

Right. Now, the challenge I have is, as you noted just a minute ago, I'm looking for baby boomers who are looking to downsize, buy a smaller house, you know, get involved in trust, real estate trust, that sort of thing.

Yeah.

Which is not this. Now, I— so I use Sales Navigator, right?

Yeah, yeah.

So in my sale— in one of my searches in Sales Navigator, I'm looking for— and I've got a handful of, a handful of titles, you know, CEO, founder, co-founder, you know, blah, blah, blah, that kind of person who has been in that position For more than 8 years. And basically what I'm doing is I'm trying to find somebody that's old enough that understands what a revocable trust might be, and also understands that their parents— they need to be doing something about, you know, their parents' estate.

100%. 100%. And also find— you can find people that have graduated college between one year and another year. You know how to search through alumni?

Uh, you know, I have done that, but I, but to some extent, I really don't care where they went to college.

No, it's not about caring where they went. It's about knowing their age based on when they graduated.

Yeah. But you know what, for instance, if you look at my profile, there's not a, there's not a date.

Right. So let's say 90% of people don't do it, but 10% of people, and there's a billion people on LinkedIn, that's still a hell of a lot of people.

In, in the state of Georgia. Right. So no, you're right. You're, you're, you're absolutely right.

So if I go to, if I go to the University of Georgia or Georgia University, um, and I take a look at the, the George— was it George Washington? Where is that in Georgia?

University of Georgia.

Okay. University of Georgia. Um, I just go to, um, them on LinkedIn.

Yep.

And then once I, once I pull it up, I see the alumni. So University of Georgia has 300, you know, 194,000 people that are part of it. So if I go, if I go to click on more and alumni on their, um, on their LinkedIn, I could see somebody that graduated, say, in 1979. Let's just say.

Yeah.

Um, and I could do it, you know, like whatever. So I, I could just look 'em up. There's 13,000.

Yeah.

These, these are all baby boomers, every single one of these, 1979. So you just hit them up. They're all in Georgia. You can see their title, where they work.

What they do.

So you built your first company 40 years ago. So you've been, after bouncing from airport to airport and hotel from hotel and car rental to car rental, you decided to get off the plane and sleep in your own bed, right? That's what you write on your website.

Let's see, what Zillow does, which is brilliant, is Zillow is a member of every MLS in the United States.

Oh yeah, absolutely. But MLS is basically private, but people like Homefinder and Zillow scrape all of that and then they publish it. So technically I'm in Zillow, but I don't pay for Zillow. Okay.
