Joe Apfelbaum attended the Marketers Cruise and was struck by the collaborative atmosphere and new friendships formed. Most attendees aren't active on LinkedIn, with only 25% having a few hundred connections. He plans to lead a group of nine people to the event next year.

So I went on a cruise called the Marketers Cruise. People were humble, people were willing to give their best, just wanting to learn and grow. It's like a time to get together and a time to enjoy, and you do business after. I have a whole new community and a whole new group of friends. It was really powerful to be able to be in that atmosphere. What did I learn and gain from the experience to help businesses? For me, it's like how hungry people are for growth and how much help people need to be able to share their voice and how few people even use LinkedIn right now. There's 400 people in the room, only 25% of them them even have a couple hundred connections on LinkedIn. The rest of them are not even on LinkedIn. For me personally, with 70% business and 30% play, I want to be a group leader next year. That means I want to bring 9 people along with me. And if you want to be one of them, just hit me up, let me know. Boom.
