Official Comment Limit on LinkedIn - Comments Restricted

LinkedIn throttles your comments if you post too many too fast. Post 30 comments in an hour and the platform locks you out, blocking new comments on other posts while you can still comment on your own. Joe Apfelbaum explains how the restriction works and why LinkedIn enforces it.
30 comments, 1 hour. Watch your step, algorithm got power.
Yeah.
Woke up, coffee fired that feed. Every little post felt like a need. Typed too fast, didn't even breathe. Dropping my thoughts all over the screen. Algorithm looking like, who this clown? 30 hot takes in a tiny countdown. Next thing I know page won't load. Something went wrong, whole thing froze. Hit refresh, try again. Error message. Check back, friend. Friend, you fake. You just flipped the switch. Turn my whole grind to a glitch. Like I left too many comments, now they lock me down. Dirty in and out, got me out the crowd. Thought I hacked the system, now I'm on the bench. Better pay that wisdom or you catch that wrench. Yeah, I left too many comments. Tap, tap, send. Now I'm on restriction, can't even So if you are just scrolling, listen to this sound. You better chill on the comments or you get shut down. Hey, they say engage, build that brand.
The problem is I left too many comments on LinkedIn, and now if I want to leave a comment, I— so I just left a comment on this post over here. I'm going to go ahead and try to leave more comments on my own post. So I think the comments on my own posts work, it looks like. You see, I just left comments on my own post. But if I try to leave comments on other people's posts, I'm gonna go ahead and leave another comment over here on my own post. But if I try to leave a comment on other people's posts, I get a restriction. Like it doesn't actually load. It doesn't say you have a restriction. It just doesn't let me load the comment. And I don't, I honestly don't know why that's happening right now. If you want, if you're watching this live right now and you could leave a comment on my post, that would be epic. I would really appreciate that just to kind of see if it's actually working or not. I'm gonna go ahead and I'm gonna say, I am live on LinkedIn right now talking about comment limits. 'Cause LinkedIn just Put a new restriction on how many comments you can leave in an hour, and if you leave too many on other people's posts, they will restrict you for 24 hours from leaving comments. Comments on posts. Interesting. Okay. Let's see. All right. So let's explore this just a little bit. Oh, we're supposed to be meeting at 11. My time is fine. Oh, join Tammy Zoom. Okay, so bottom line is my phone died. Okay, so here's the situation, and tell me if you're able to see this. You see this issue right now? So I'm on LinkedIn Live, okay? And I'm gonna go to the feed and try to leave a comment. I'm going to go to Scott's post, for example. I'm going to click comment. I'm going to say, thank you for the post. So this is a manual comment I'm going to leave. I'm going to press comment. And you see it says, your comment could not be created at this time. So I'm going to go to my profile and then I'm going to click on show analytics. And you can see that I have 263 comments that I left in the past, I don't know, since January 26th. I posted 14 times. I left 263 comments. And you can see that I'm able to leave comments. I'm actually able to leave comments. Let's see what this says here. Thanks for the question. I have a short list of things, nailing down my compensation offer, building a YouTube channel, and getting systems down. Nice. Okay. Okay. So this is, this is the situation here. I'm on LinkedIn right now and I'm able to leave comments on my own post, but I can't leave comments on other people's posts. So if I go to my own profile and then I scroll down to the section here that says show all posts, I can't leave a comment on Tammy's post. I did leave a comment with Evie AI, but on my own post, say for example, this post, I can go here and for example, I can go to Mike, I can click on this link here and then I could click generate. It'll read the post, generate a thoughtful comment, insert, and then boom, I just replied to Mike's comment on my own thing, on my own post. And so I'm able to leave comments on my own post, but I can't leave comments on other people's posts, which Which is really interesting. So I'm curious to you, I'm curious from your perspective, let me know if you have the same limitation and I'll report back as soon as I'm able to and we'll do a full analysis of how many comments I left over what period of time. And let me know if you find this restriction as well on your profile, if it limits you. And by the way, one way to overcome that limit is I could still leave comments on other people's posts, except I just have to change to a company page to leave a comment. So yeah, I can leave a comment here. I'm going to write boom, and you see I just left a comment. So that's the situation.
