Hey, this is Joe Apfelbaum. I'm gonna show you how to use AI with LinkedIn for networking. Let's dig in. The first thing I want you to do is to go to linkedin.com. And when you go to linkedin.com, just click on the LinkedIn icon. If you're on LinkedIn, you'll be able to see something called the feed. Now you can use AI tools on LinkedIn to leave comments on posts. So for example, if I wanna leave a post here for Evergreen Networking, I just click on the comment button. And then there's an extension that I can use that allows me to select the tone that I want to leave the comment. And then it'll go into OpenAI ChatGPT. It'll read the post, read the comments, and it'll suggest a comment to use. I have 3 different options. I can choose the language I want. I'm just gonna press insert and it's gonna type up the comment for me. So I can just press post and now I posted the comment. The other thing you can do is you can also generate a post. So if you scroll up to the top and you click on start a post, As you can see up here, you can generate a post. I'm gonna write, write a post about how I went from average Joe to CEO and include 3 tips about marketing my business as a CEO. Okay, let's see what it'll write. I'll click on the little feather again and it's going to send this information to ChatGPT. And let's see what it'll produce. Now, these are the 3 tips. This post is all ready to go. I'm gonna press insert and it's going to type up my post for me. Look at that. Now, the more specific I am with the prompts, the more likely it is that I'm gonna get high quality content. But as you can see, it's creating all this content here that I can put in and just post as a post on LinkedIn. I'm going to copy all this content out into my clipboard so I have it for later. The other thing that you can do is you can leave recommendations for people on LinkedIn. So say for example, I see somebody that I want to leave a recommendation for, say Alex, I want to leave him a recommendation. I go to Alex's profile. He's one of the LinkedIn influencers. And I really liked the presentation that he left. I'm going to click more. I'm going to do recommend. Now it's going to ask me who I'm recommending. I'm going to write Alex. I select the person. I press continue. Then it wants to know our relationship. You and Alex studied together. You and Alex worked with you in a different group, worked with you but at different companies. I'm gonna say he's a founder of this company. Great job with the presentation today about LinkedIn video at the LinkedIn Influencer Summit. Okay. I don't even have to spell influencer right. That's fine. Let me click on this little tool over here and it's going to write me a beautiful recommendation. Dear Alex, I had the pleasure of working with Alex at different companies recently. He demonstrated his excellent talents at a presentation on LinkedIn Video and the LinkedIn Influencer Summit. He displayed great knowledge, social media strategies and marketing techniques in an engaging, informative manner and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So I just can copy this and paste it in there and leave him a beautiful recommendation. I'm going to be more specific because I'm going to hear his presentation. And then I'm going to leave him a LinkedIn recommendation that's even more specific. I could also use the tool to write my about section on LinkedIn. So if I don't have a lot of ideas for what to write in my about section, it can type it up for me. I can have the tool to send direct messages as well on LinkedIn. I can show you exactly how I do that. For example, one of my clients, Barry Sharp, sent me a message. I wrote to him, happy birthday. Today is January 19th, special day, sending you blessings. And I want to be able to send him a reply. So I just click on this little button here. It'll read the DM and suggest a reply to use. You're very kind. Thank you for your response. Wishing you a happy, prosperous year ahead. So I'm going to copy that, paste it in here, and boom, I sent him this message over here. So as you can see, ChatGPT, OpenAI can really help you be able to succeed using LinkedIn. The question is, are you using it properly? Are you using it appropriately?
