Daily, where I go live every single day. Who am I? I'm Joe Applebaum, CEO of Adex Union, founder of Evie AI, the new innovative LinkedIn AI assistant that can help you be able to comment, post, and help you write messages on LinkedIn. If you want to be successful in today's day and age, you need to learn certain key strategies, key strategies to build a following. Key strategies to share your thoughts, share your information, have a target market, have a strategy, have a plan, learn how to be able to challenge yourself and overcome your fears. Set really strategic goals— SMART: specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound. Those goals are the key for you to get where you want to go. You see, success is about defining and setting a goal and then achieving it. Fulfillment is feeling good along the way. So if you don't feel good along the way, you're not gonna feel fulfilled. My question to you is, what do you need to do in order for you to be successful on LinkedIn? What are the activities that you need to take every single day, 15, 20, 30 minutes a day for you to be successful? I set a goal to go live every day, and so far I've been going live every day. I don't know if I'm gonna be able to do this every single day for the rest of my life, but right now, I want to create a habit, a habit of going live, showing up on the feed on a daily basis. If only one person sees me, that's good enough for me. I don't need the whole world to see me. I want you to see me, you watching this right now, the one person that I can inspire, that I can motivate, that I can support, that I can help be able to take their life and their business to the next level. I'm gonna share some innovative strategies today. I'm gonna share my screen and I'm gonna show you the things that I do on a daily basis in order for me to be successful on this platform, in order for me to hit my goals. For me, success is not about making billions of dollars. For me, success is about making a difference for that one person, for that one person that needs to get where they wanna go. And I've learned some things about LinkedIn That I wanna share with people. I wanna be able to share with you. I wanna be able to share with you how you can leverage the 1 billion people that are now on LinkedIn. So go ahead and smash that like button. If you're with me, smash the heart, smash the inspiration. I was thinking this morning about thought leadership. I was actually watching videos. From an interview that I did. I interviewed the CEO of a company that built it from $0 to $200 million in revenue. And I asked him for his insights. I interviewed him for 2 hours, 2, 2 hours. And as I'm watching these videos, I'm thinking to myself, I want to surround myself with thought leaders. I want people around me that come up with thoughts, that want to share their thoughts. Good morning, Tim. Good morning, MD. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, guys. Say good morning to me. Let me know where you're dialing in from. Let me know what you do for a living in the chat below. I want to surround myself with engaged thought leaders, with people that are truly engaged, and I don't need to surround myself with a million people. Sure, there are a billion people on LinkedIn, but if I had 10 solid thought leaders around me, People that I could run ideas by, people that are very engaged on LinkedIn, that are very committed to LinkedIn. That would make me happy. People that are entrepreneurial, people that they each want to surround themselves with 10 of their own thought leaders in their industry, in their niche. If you wanna be a thought leader, write, I wanna be a thought leader in the chat. Or write, I am a thought leader in the chat. Even better. I'm looking for those thought leaders. And I'm thinking about starting a small community of engaged thought leaders that I meet with on a regular basis next year. People that actually want to be able to build out their quotes, build out their videos, build out their articles, build out their courses, build out their books. People that want to be thought leaders. If that's you, write, that's me. I'm a thought leader. I'm an engaged thought leader. I want to be part of your 10 people that each want to build a community of 10. Having a little community of 10 people can be extremely powerful. So do you know who your 10 are for 2024? Do you know who your 24 are for 2024? Do you know who your 44 are for 2024? I want you to think about that for a moment. Now I'm gonna share my screen, get right into it, and let's start digging in. Are you guys with me? Are you ready for this? Are you ready for it? Let's go. All right, I just shared my screen. You should be able to see my screen right now. I'm gonna scroll in just a little bit bigger here, just like that. I'm also gonna change the mode so that I'm big on the right. For the replay, mainly for the replay. Okay. The reason I'm doing this is for the replay, and I'm gonna zoom out just a little bit right over here. Okay. Can you guys see me on one side? Say, Joe, I can see you on one side. And then you see my window on the other side, correct? You see it that way? All right, cool. Now I wanna impress upon you the following. If you don't have a plan for next year, How do you plan to be successful? You need to have a solid plan for next year, which means having a content marketing strategy. For me, one of the things that I love to do is I love to engage on influencers. Look at this. I'm gonna leave a comment right now on Gary Vaynerchuk's post, and I'm gonna do this while I'm having a conversation with you, 'cause I don't need to think about what to write. That's what the AI does. The AI thinks about what to write and it writes it. Now, Gary Vaynerchuk's not the only thought leader that I comment on. Gary Vaynerchuk's one of the thought leaders that I comment on, but I have a whole list of thought leaders. If you want my full list of thought leaders, my top 25 thought leaders on LinkedIn, just write top 25 in the chat, right? Top 25 in the chat. And I will post that list of thought leaders on LinkedIn. Okay. And I will show you how I post that list of top thought leaders. And I will show you how to follow those top list of thought leaders. Now, if you go to my profile, you go to joelinkedin.com and you scroll down, you will notice that I've been posting. 19 minutes ago, I posted this video of Dan Donnelly. Check this interview out. So he's talking about how he was an innovator. The reason he was successful— I'm actually gonna give it a funny face. The reason he was successful is because he was able to look into the future, look into the future and innovate and take risks. But he also failed a ton. I interviewed him about his failures. What were your failures? Bark bark. What were your failures? Think about your own failures. Everybody has failures. Everybody has struggles. Everybody has challenges. Do you see the way I just created 3 likes in 3 different colors for myself on this video? I had zero likes. Now I have, now I have 3 likes. Now I'm gonna add a couple more likes. Look at this. I'm gonna add a couple of more likes. I'm gonna give myself a round of applause from Ajax Union. I'm gonna give myself a Care Bear from Evergreen. So I got the smiley face, I got the heart. I'm gonna go to the, the Joe Apfelbaum brand. I'm gonna give myself a thumbs up from there. Look how many likes I already have. I am just scoring in the likes, just scoring in the likes. I'm going to go to me. Let's say, let me know if you know anyone in HVAC. I would love to share this interview with them. Boom. Okay. I just literally went there and I did that just like that. All right. So now if you go back to my profile, and you take a look, you'll notice that now I got the 3 colors here, the 3 colors here, and the 3 colors here. Do you guys understand how I get 3 colors in all my posts? 3 colors, 3 colors, 3 colors. Even if nobody likes your posts, even if nobody likes your posts, you can still get those 3 colors. I'm going to copy this URL over here and I'm going to look for HVAC. See, I just searched HVAC. I'm going to look for HVAC groups. Okay, HVAC professionals. You see that? I'm going to click on HVAC professionals, and you can see this is a private group. I just interviewed the CEO of an HVAC company that sold for $200 mil. Do you want to see the interview? If yes, comment here. Okay. I'm going to press go. All right. So I just shared this. Now there's 176,000 members in this group. The question is, how do I identify who are my most ideal clients that are in this group? So this is what I do. I go into Sales Navigator. By the way, what version of LinkedIn do you have? Let me know in the chat right now. What version of LinkedIn do And I'm gonna be looking at the chat right over here. I opened this up in another window. I'll be looking at the chat right over here, actually on the right side. Oh, looks like Sarah Sears is here. Top 25. I see you on the side. Thank you, Sarah. Thank you, Robert. If you don't fail at one point in your journey, big or small, you're trying to be different. Okay, cool. Thank you guys for commenting. Really appreciate it. What version of LinkedIn do you have? Do you have the paid version? Do you have the free version? Do you have Sales Navigator version? So check this out. I'm going to click on lead filters. I got a lot of different lead filters over here. You see that? You see all these different lead filters? There's so many different lead filters. I'm going to choose the group lead filter. I'm going to type in HVAC professionals. You're going to see on the top right corner, it's going to say over 150,000 people here. I'm going to do job title. I'm going to do CEO. I'm going to see how many CEOs are in this group. So there's 3,500 CEOs in this group. You see that? 3,500 CEOs in this group. And how many of these are actually in HVAC? There's sales, uh, uh, you know, executive recruiting, consulting, safety, this, that, whatever. How many actual HVAC companies are here? I don't know. So what you got to do is you got to change industry here. I'm going to type in construction. Okay. So there's 573 in the construction industry. Okay, so these are the ones that are in the construction industry. Mechanical Contractors Association of America. He's the CEO of the MCAA. So this guy I definitely want to build a relationship with. Okay, very impressed by Tim. I am very impressed. By the MCAA that you built. Would love to chat with you about what insights you have in the industry. Open for an interview. I just finished Interviewing Dan Donnelly. Okay, I just sent him that message over here, and hopefully he will get that message. Hopefully this guy named Tim will get that message over here. Now I'm gonna find some more people. And I'm gonna message them as well. Are you guys liking this? Sales Navigator is an extremely, extremely powerful platform. Extremely powerful platform. Joseph said, don't be distracted by this future events text and mobile can't be in the comments. Okay. I don't even know what that means. I'm going to go to my profile over here and I'm gonna take a look at the most recent comments right here. You see that? I'm gonna click on these comments over here. Now I can't see the most recent comments. I'm gonna go back. I'm gonna click on show all posts. You see that? And then I'm gonna click on comments over here, not this comment box. I'm gonna click on the other comment box. You see this one here? Then once I click on this comment box, I click instead of most relevant, I'm gonna click on most recent. By the way, what do you do for a living? Let me know in the chat what you do for a living. We can't see the left of your screen, Shizet. Okay. Can't see the left of my screen. Um, do you need to see the left of my screen or do you just need to see the center of my screen? Oh, you're saying you couldn't see the left of my screen before and now— okay. Got it. You, you were just able to see the center of the screen. You couldn't see all the different filters. Thank you for saying that. I appreciate that. Guys, tell me what you do for a living in the chat. I see Jane is using premium. Robert says, if you don't fail at one point, you wanna see the top 25. So check this out. This is, I'm gonna pull this out so you guys can actually see this. Oh, you can't see it unless I make my whole window smaller. Okay, I get what you're saying now. I get what you're saying. I get what you're saying. These are— I'm gonna make this a little bit bigger so you can see what's going on here. And I'm gonna make this a little bit bigger. I'm gonna Increase the size of this because size does matter when it comes to being able to see things. Okay, let me see if I can get and see if I can get all this over here. Ah, look at that! All right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right. All right, these are the people. Can you guys see this? This is my list of 25 people. So what I'm going to do now is I'm going to open them up one at a time. And I'm going to click— I already saved him into my list, into Evy AI. You see, I saved him into Evy AI under influencers. You see that? Now I just click on see recent activity and it automatically just loads up his recent activity just like that. Click one click of a button. Now I'm going to drop a comment here. See, I'm going to click on the Evy AI logo instead of Basil the Samoyed. I'm going to choose Joe Apfelbaum because I want to create exposure for Joe Apfelbaum. I'm going to press generate. It's going to read his post, Bill Gates's post. He says, I'm lucky I get to work. It gives me insights reflecting on positive trajectory. I'm reminded, okay, reflecting on the world as a marketing— someone going to write, as a marketing CEO and entrepreneur, I've seen firsthand how strategic growth like Gates champions syntax for global development. Okay, nice little comment I left over there. I'm going to close this out here. I'm gonna close this out. Now you might say to yourself, well, Joe, you have to click on a spreadsheet. That's ridiculous. No, you don't have to click on a spreadsheet. You just click on the Evy AI box on the top right corner. You click on view saved, see all profiles. I have a list of all my saved profiles. You see, these are all my saved profiles. Then I click on select list. I scroll down to influencers, or I can search influencers. I press apply. Now I have Kevin O'Leary, Lewis Howes, Austin Beek. You see? Bill Gates. I have all the different people that I want. Now, if I want to be able to see their recent posts, I don't have to wonder. I just have to click on see recent activity. You see that? I just clicked on see recent activity for this guy over here. He has 758 comments. I'm going to make this a little bit bigger so you guys could see what I'm doing. 758 comments. I'm going to give this a like. I'm going to drop a comment right here, just like that. You see, I'm going to hit generate. This is how quickly I'm able to stay top of mind, not just with this person, but with the hundreds of people that are commenting as well. And these are active people that are commenting. Now, there's a lot of replies in the comments. I'm going to press insert. Absolutely resonate with this, Jasmine. I'm going to tag Jasmine so he gets a mention. Insights are spot on. In marketing and in life, energy we emit is the currency of the personal brand. By fostering culture, blah, blah, blah. Okay? I just left a very well-written, well-thought-out comment related to what we attract. You see that? I was doing a lot of thinking today about what it means to be a thought leader. And for me, what it means to be about thought leaders, to be part of a community of other thought leaders. As a matter of fact, I even asked ChatGPT. Let's go into ChatGPT real quick and take a look at this chat. You guys see ChatGPT being a thought leader? So today I said, I said, I said the following. Um, let's see. I said, I said, what does it mean to be a thought leader? Being a thought leader means to be recognized by an industry, by an authority and influential voice, being recognized as an authority and influential voice in a particular field or industry. Thought leaders are individuals. Okay, so what industry are you in? What particular field or industry are you in? Let's check the comments. Let's see what you guys are saying here. I'm gonna hit refresh just to pull up the comments. What industry are you in? I'm gonna go in here. I'm gonna check. I'm gonna click on comments here. I'm gonna click on most recent. What industry are you in? Winnie says, I'm not able to live chat. Each time I attempt to write, the comment box disappears. I wanted to say, I'm not able to see the 3 colors that you're referring to. These are the 3 colors I'm referring to over here. The like, the heart, and the round of applause, Winnie. That's what I'm referring to. Joe, what Joseph was saying is the mobile version of LinkedIn has a glitch. You can't comment. If you go to my profile, if you click on my profile and then you click on see all activity, and then you click on the comment box, you will be able to see all the recent comments just like I do. Try it out. Joseph said, can't comment on mobile devices on LinkedIn app. I'm gonna say, got it. Not sure why. Okay. Can't see the left of your screen. I think I fixed that, Sarah. I think I fixed that. Okay. So this is my, this is what I'm thinking to myself. I'm gonna stop sharing my screen for just a moment, cuz I wanna, I wanna share something with you. Hello everybody. I'm Joe Apfelbaum. Those are the books that I wrote over there. Have you guys written a book? Do you wanna write a book? If you did wanna write a book, what would you write a book about? Let me know in the comments. Here are my thoughts around being a thought leader. I'm gonna share some thoughts. Being a thought leader means being recognized as an authority and influential voice in a particular field or industry. Thought leaders are individuals or people that represent companies that are on the forefront of innovation, on the forefront of knowledge, on a forefront of expertise in a particular area. These thought leaders, for example, maybe you're a thought leader, share opinions, share perspectives, share valuable insights, ideas about an industry which actually shape the way that people think about that industry and maybe even shape the industry itself. Thought leaders usually are people who have overcome a certain fear of sharing. Thought leadership involves consistency and consistently contributing original and valuable content and participating in discussions and staying current with trends and development in the field. I believe that I am a thought leader in the world of— what do you guys think? In the chat, let me know, where do you think I express my thought leadership? Take a look at my books. One of the things that I talk about a lot is networking, building relationships. So I'm a thought leader around the world of networking. I'm also a thought leader around marketing. I talk a lot about marketing, B2B marketing strategy, marketing strategies. That's number 2. Number 3, I'm a thought leader in artificial intelligence for business development. That's another niche. Number 4, I'm a thought leader around the concept of LinkedIn and how to leverage LinkedIn and how to be successful with LinkedIn. Number 5, I'm a thought leader around the concept of personal development. I wrote a book called High Energy Purpose. I wrote another book called High Energy Secrets around wellness and health. And personal development when it comes to me losing 100 pounds and sharing my experience about that. Those are the 5 key areas that I express my thought leadership about. I want to know, in your hand, do you have 5 key areas that you're passionate about, that you're excited about, and that you want to share about so that you can create your own thought leadership destiny. Now, thought leaders can have a lot of different things. They can focus on a niche. They can deepen their knowledge. They can share valuable content. They need to be consistent. They need to engage with their audience. They need to network and collaborate with other thought leaders and other professionals in their industry. They need to attend events and attend conferences. They need to use social media. They need to have a primary social media platform. They need to offer some type of solutions that address challenges and problems inside the niche and offer insights. They need to be authentic. Authenticity is crucial. You gotta be true to your values, your opinions, your style. Everybody has a different style. Everybody has a different way of being. For example, I'm gonna share my screen again. Kevin O'Leary. Let's pull up Kevin O'Leary. Kevin O'Leary shares all the time. Do you guys follow Kevin, the Shark Tank guy? 19 hours ago, he posted something on LinkedIn. I'm gonna click on this right here. I'm gonna press generate. I'm gonna drop a comment on Kevin O'Leary's post. Have you guys watched Shark Tank before? Yes, no, yes to Shark Tank, no to Shark Tank. Absolutely, Kevin. Social media, especially LinkedIn, is a game changer for entrepreneurs. It's like having a megaphone. That reaches millions. It's not just about being present. It's about strategic engagement and storytelling. Let's help more businesses harness this power. So this morning I had a dream. I had a dream about starting a thought leadership community on LinkedIn, a group of just 10 people to start that wanna be engaged I'm calling it Engaged Thought Leaders, calling it for that for now. We can change the name after, but people that are consistently showing up on a daily basis on LinkedIn that are committed to sharing insights in their industry. I don't want people that are in competing industries. I want people that kind of are in their own lane and wanna support each other. People that are comfortable sharing video. That's number one. Let's stop sharing my screen so we can brainstorm over here. Number one, people that are comfortable sharing video. Number two, people that are comfortable sharing their opinions. Are you comfortable sharing your opinions? I'm curious to know in the chat. Tell me, I am comfortable sharing my opinions. I am not comfortable sharing my opinions. Tell me if you are comfortable sharing your opinions. A lot of people are not comfortable sharing your opinions. So I want to create a small community of 10 people that are willing to share their opinions, that are willing to put out video, that are willing to speak up about their industry, and that want to go on a journey with me to build this community of engaged thought leaders. These are people that I just want to be in a room with. I want to be connected to, that I want to support their content and they want to support my content. This is not an engagement group. This is a group of engaged thought leaders. I was thinking a lot about thought leadership this morning, and I was, I realized, you know, thought leaders need to have their quotes. They need to have a prepared list of quotes. Like for example, one of my top 10 quotes are the right strategy will save you a decade. Or energy without strategy is a waste of time. Or a 5% drop in hydration is a 30% drop in energy. If you want to get motivated, you got to get hydrated. Do you get that? Have you guys heard me say that before? I say that often. I can't see the book titles on a 19-inch screen. Joseph. Joseph's having some problems. Giacomo says, to my surprise, I've written and published 3 books. Lol. I've narrated 2 Audible audiobooks, real estate auction and success and personal development. So guys, what is your niche? Giacomo shared his niche. What is your niche? I want to know because the riches are in the niches. I want to know what your niche is. Jane said, sign me up. I'm going to look at Jane's profile. I'm going to refresh this over here. As a matter of fact, what I wanna do is potentially bring up the comments on the right so you guys could see your own comments. That could be fun, right? Let me click on over here one more time. Click on most recent. Ready to ride. Martin said, ready to ride. I'm not bitching. I'm just saying, ugh, I love that. I love that. And by the way, you could say whatever you want. This is, this is where the comments are. Can I get a boom in the comments? Not comfortable doing any of it, but I'm getting there. I am so comfortable. I am comfortable. Okay. I never intentionally think about setting myself as a thought leader. I will now plan on doing so. I can be a thought leader. Now here's another key point. I want the thought leaders to have a following. I want you to already have 10,000 followers or be on a path to get to 10,000 followers and commit to getting to 10,000 followers in 2024. Okay. So I want 10,000 followers. That doesn't mean that I'm not gonna select you if you don't have 10,000 followers, but I want you to be on a path to at least have 10,000 followers. There's no excuse why a thought leader should not have 10,000 followers on LinkedIn. It's easy to get followers on LinkedIn. It's not rocket science. You gotta put in some work, but the strategy, it's very possible. It's hard to get 10,000 followers on Instagram. It's hard to get 10,000 followers on other social media platforms like Facebook and so on. But on LinkedIn, no excuse. On LinkedIn, there's no excuse. You can get 10,000 followers relatively quickly. And I want to help these 10 thought leaders make sure that they add another 10,000 followers. So if you have 10,000 followers, write 10K in the chat. If you're committed to creating 10,000 followers and having a followership of 10,000, write, I'm committed to 10K. Okay, so I wanna know who's committed to 10K, who wants to get to 10K, and who is at 10K. Okay, I'm gonna click on most recent over here. I got a boom. Only 6,000. Only 6,000. That's not only 6,000, that's your way to 10,000. Now, if you guys are not using Evie AI, I wanna encourage you to use Evie AI because with Evie AI, I'm able to quickly drop comments like this. I'm able to quickly drop comments on— you see this guy over here? You want to see how many, how many, um, comments this guy has on his posts? Alex Lieberman. Have you guys heard of the co-founder of The Morning Brew, Alex Lieberman? Yes, no, maybe so. What do you guys think of him? What is your opinion of him? Alex, distilling a 2-hour Bezos interview into 27 minutes is no small feat. Your analysis is packed with value. I'm going to press post. I'm going to look at his profile. He has 145,000 followers, but when he posts on LinkedIn, he gets 7 comments. One of them is mine. How cool is that? Why? Because I took the time to save his profile. I saved his profile into the influencer tab on Evvy AI. Okay? So I want you guys to do the same thing. I want you guys to save people's profiles. Kevin O'Leary has 3.7 million followers. Now there's a lot that you can do. So I said, how does one establish themselves as a thought leader? I put that into ChatGPT. I'm gonna share my screen again just to kind of show you the ChatGPT window. I'm gonna press share. Can you guys see the ChatGPT window? It's right. I see ChatGPT. If you can see it, I'm not sure if you can see it, but I'm gonna, I'm gonna read some of these and I'm gonna share with you some thoughts. So how does someone establish themselves as a thought leader? Let me pull up the comments over here and just see if anybody else is commenting. Most recent, most relevant, most relevant, most recent, most recent. Okay. Let's see. Jane says, I'm committed to $10K. Sarah said, I'm committed to $10K. Giacomo said $15K. Amazing. And Richard said, absolutely not afraid to share opinions, but it took me time to get there. You need a very thick skin. Yeah, true. You do need a very thick skin. Okay. By the way, what is your favorite color? Put that in the chat. I want people that have a unique opinion. What is your unique opinion? My unique opinion is hunter green. Hunter green. That's how I'm feeling today. Green is my favorite color, but today I'm feeling like hunter green. Give me a specific 2-word color in the chat. I'm curious to know what your color is. Let's get into ChatGPT real quick. How does one establish themselves as a thought leader? Establishing yourself as a thought leader involves a deliberate strategic approach, and here's a step-by-step guide to help you become a thought leader in your field. Number 1 is choose your niche. Number 2 is deepen your knowledge. Number 3 is create high-quality content. Number 4 is publish regularly because consistency is key. Number 5 is leverage multiple platforms. Use various channels to share your content. Number 6 is engage with your audience. Respond to comments, questions, and feedback on your content. Number 7 is network and collaborate. Connect with other experts and thought leaders in your niche and in other niches. Offer solutions. Speak at events and conferences. Write a book or even write an ebook if you don't want to write a whole book. Build a personal brand. When I Google you, what do I see? Measure your impact. Use analytics and metrics to track the performance of your content. Be patient and persistent because becoming a thought leader takes time and effort. Stay committed to your niche, continuously improve your skills, and adapt to, to the changes in your industry. And of course, seek feedback from your peers, from your audience. Constructive criticism can help you refine your approach and help you grow as a thought leader. Do you see what I just did there? What did I just do there? I'm going to stop sharing my screen for a second. I want to ask you, what did you just see me do? I went through a ChatGPT Q&A. I asked it a question and I answered it and I read it, but I didn't read it verbatim. I added my own thoughts, I added my own interjections, I added my own opinions, and I went through it and I even changed— as I went through it, I even changed some of the things that it said. I even innovated with my own ideas. You don't have to come up with ideas from scratch. You need to take ideas and morph them and make them your own. You need to take quotes and morph them and make them your own. That's the benefit of artificial intelligence. You can take AI as your assistant, as your prep. Some people feel like it's cheating to use AI. Those people are wrong. That's my opinion. As a thought leader, a person that leads with thought, I think that people that say that AI is cheating, those people are cheating themselves from the opportunity to be able to grow and to think and to create and to be, because AI is here to assist us. AI is here to edit video for us. AI is here to help us draft content, to draft posts. Do you know how powerful it is that I can take a video that's a 2-hour interview of somebody and And I can put it into an AI and it can make clips for me in seconds. Do you guys wanna see the tool that I use? Extremely powerful tools. Extremely powerful. If you don't, if you're not using these tools, if you're not using AI, you are missing out. Every single month we meet something called the AI Business Development Circle, and we help people be able to be more successful in business development with artificial intelligence. We have a circle, a cute little circle, very powerful. And so many people are afraid of putting themselves out there. They're afraid of leveraging AI and they make tons of excuses. Martin says, how does being a thought leader lead to business? Good question, Martin. Does anybody wanna answer that? Does anybody wanna take a stab at that? How does being a thought leader lead to new business? Well, what I'm gonna do is I'm actually gonna ask ChatGPT, how does thought leadership lead to new business? And this is what ChatGPT says. It says the following: becoming a thought leader can significantly contribute to generating new business opportunities in several ways. Number one, it enhances credibility and trust. Thought leaders are seen as experts in their field where potential clients or customers perceive you as a credible authority. For example, me, I have 45,000 people that are following me on Facebook, on LinkedIn. I am seen as a credible authority in LinkedIn, in networking, in AI, in marketing, not just because I've written the books based on my experience, but because people pay me to get on stages and speak. I'm flying to London, I'm flying to France, I'm flying to Japan, I'm flying to Phoenix, Arizona, I'm flying to To Florida. I'm speaking to hundreds of people, thousands of people online see me every single day. And I have credibility and trust, which leads into business. I closed a client last night that came because of my LinkedIn authority, because of my thought leadership on LinkedIn around specifically LinkedIn. Visibility. Thought leaders often have a strong online and offline presence. Your increased visibility will attract potential clients. clients that come across your presentations, your interviews, your YouTube channel. People tend to do business with those they're familiar with and trust. By the way, I have a question for you. How many times have you seen me online? More than 10 or less than 10? How many times have you seen me online? More than 10 or less than 10? And how long have you known that I existed? How many times have you seen Joe Applebaum, CEO of Ajax Union, founder of Evie AI, the LinkedIn assistant? How many times have you seen me online? Is this the first time you're seeing me, or have you seen me many times? And I want to ask yourself that, like, when you ask yourself this question, how many times have your top 10 people, top 20 people seen you online? Let's see, way more than 10, Dwight said. Nabi said 10 plus. Sarah said more than 10. David said, "Chas de Hashem, you are gifted." I am not gifted. We are all gifted. David, you are gifted. You have to be willing to share yourself with the world. Share your light. Share your candle. Most people are hiding their light. They're afraid of bad luck. They're afraid of the opinions of other people. They're afraid of saying the wrong thing, doing the wrong thing. Have an opinion. Share your opinion. If you're wrong, say you're wrong after. You don't have to be right. My coach always said you could either be right or you could be happy. You could either be right and justified and quiet, or you could be expressed and fulfilled, and you can share your thoughts with the world. You might think it's egocentric to share. But I believe, in my opinion, is that it's egocentric to hide because your ego's so big you're afraid that someone's gonna not like you. Your ego's so big that you're willing to hoard your secrets. You're not willing to share your insights because your ego is too big, because you think you're too grandiose. I'm here to tell you That you are God and you are nothing at the same time. You are godly and you are nothing at the same time. You came from Earth, you'll return to Earth. But while you're here, you're a spark of light. Share your light. I want you to share your light because how dare you hide your light from the people that need to be inspired? And if your voice is not how you want it to be, you can learn to improve your voice. I used to hide. Because I was shy, because I had shame, because I was afraid. I was afraid people would judge me. I was afraid that people wouldn't like me. I didn't like my own voice. I didn't like the way I showed up. Well, I changed. I improved. I transformed. I took things to the next level. You can take things to the next level. I want you to take things to the next level, and I want to give you the tools to allow you to do that. But that takes commitment. That takes consistency. That takes courage. Do you have the courage? Write in the chat, I have the courage. I'm willing to go on this journey because people are waiting to hear from you. I'm not talking about millions of people. I'm talking about 10,000 people. 10,000 people need to follow you. 1,000 need to— people need to see you every day. You need to show up every single day. I say I don't want to go viral. Don't go viral. Forget about going viral. We already had COVID. We already had COVID. By the way, did you have COVID? Did you not have COVID? In the chat, let me know. Some people are having COVID right now. Somebody told me last night, they said, I got COVID. I got— so what, you got COVID? Did you get mail too? Everyone got COVID. I don't think I know anybody that didn't get COVID. You'd be like, oh, I didn't get COVID. Where do you live, in New Zealand? You live on the other side of the world? There's plenty of people in New Zealand on LinkedIn. I'm curious to know, where do you live? Put it in the chat. That's a great thing to put in the chat. Where are you from? Where do you live? What's your mother's maiden name? Tell me. David said, I had it, I had it, I had it with you, Joe. I had it with you. No, I'm kidding. Dwight said, I absolutely would love to take this journey. David said, I have courage. Nabi said, preach it, it's so true. Richard said, first time. A zillion. Martin says a zillion. More than 10. More than 10. More than 10. More than 10. Think about that, the impact you can make in someone's life when you actually share, when you take a moment to share, share your insight. Could you imagine if I didn't share my insight? Could you imagine if I didn't share my light in the world? The world would be a lot less bright. I didn't think I was bright back in the day. I thought that I didn't deserve to be seen. I thought that, who am I? Who am I? Who am I to be a thought leader? Who am I to share a quote? Who am I to share a book? Who am I? And people even came over to me when I thought that people would come over to me and say, who are you to get up and speak? Who are you to share a thought? Who are you? And I would say, who am I? Write that in the chat, right? Who am I? I literally thought that. I really, really had that thought. I really had the thought of who the heck am I to be able to share? But you know what? I realized that the voices in our head are not us. The voice in your head is not you. Who are you? You are the one that notices the voice in your head. And so once I realized that, I was like, oh my gosh, if I noticed a voice in my head and the voice is not me, what voice do I want to choose? And I started choosing more empowering voices. I started choosing more empowering voices. Ben said, you must be kidding. Melbourne, Australia. Kansas City. I had COVID a year ago. That's what Dwight said. I want you to take a moment and think about this. I want you to think a moment and think about this. Do you want to be a thought leader? Do you want to share your voice with the world? Do you want to put your ego aside? Do you want to engage more? If you do, join me on this journey to be a thought leader. Commit in 2024 to be a thought leader, to share more impressive content, to take a moment and make a difference for other people, to find your tribe, to focus on your niche. The riches are in the niches. The riches are in the niches. Yeah, that's what I got for you. Let's go. Let's go into LinkedIn right now and share some. Let's share some stuff. I'm gonna press share. I'm gonna make my screen big, zoom in a little bit. All right, let's go. Let's go. Let's, let's start going. So I'm gonna click on home. I'm gonna scroll down. And you know, one of the things that I really dislike is when I leave a comment on someone's post and they don't respond to me. I dislike it. But I'm gonna say, I have been commenting, but I'm not sure you see it. Molly, do you see my comments? Okay. I, you know, like I leave com— I commit to leaving comments on people's posts and then they don't respond to me. That's annoying. So I use Evie AI to respond to people. I'm going to show you how I do that. I go to my profile, I scroll down, and I take a look at my recent posts. Okay? So I click on show all posts. I scroll down right over here and I take a look at my recent posts. So over here, I have 15 comments. Okay? These are very nice comments. I'm going to click here, show more comments, and look how I commit to writing these well-thought-out responses to each person. Every person gets a response. You see that? Now Giacomo left it 39 minutes ago. I've been on this live. I didn't have time to respond. So what am I gonna do? I'm gonna use AI to generate a response to Giacomo. Okay, so what did Giacomo say? He says, you are now free, Joe Applebaum, like my friend Bob Marley. Giacomo, thanks for the shout out. Bob Marley definitely has the right idea of freedom and value. It's all about finding harmony in life. Keep sharing your positive vibe, my friend. Oh my God, I love that. Do you see the way I tagged him? I put the little@ sign before his name and I tagged him. That's powerful. I'm gonna go to Jeff Goldberg. I'm a big fan of Farmer Joe. Okay, so he's a big fan of Farmer Joe. I'm gonna go ahead and reply to all these people right now, but if I had to think about what to reply to each person, it would take me a really long time. But instead, I use artificial intelligence to help me reply. Can anyone tell me what tool I'm using in the chat? Tell me, what tool am I using to reply to all these people in a matter of seconds? Instead of days, hours, or even minutes. Tell me in the chat, what tool is Joe Apfelbaum using right now to be able to reply to these people? And this tool actually complies with the LinkedIn terms. Somebody said, Joe, how does this tool comply with the LinkedIn terms? Because it is not scraping anything. It is not automating anything. It's just drafting. Just like Grammarly helps you rewrite words, this helps you by drafting content for you. It's an AI content drafter. It is not a robot. This is not robot. Evvy AI is not a robot that automatically does things on LinkedIn. It sits outside of LinkedIn and it doesn't change LinkedIn in any way. It simply helps you be able to do things faster, but it never automates anything. You see, I reply to every single person over here. Now, do you reply to comments? I'm curious to know in the chat, let me know. Yes, I reply to comments. No, I don't reply to comments. Can you see the importance as a thought leader to actually reply to people's comments? Evy AI, it's not evy.ai, it's evyai.com. Okay, that's the website, evyai.com. Yes. Okay. That's the tool I'm using. This saves me a ton of time. A ton of time. Your coaching is great, Jesse said. Who knew? I reside in Ontario, Canada. The voices in your head is not you. That is profound. We all have voices in our head. And when we realize that it's not us, wow, can we make an impact? I'm gonna show you a cool tool right now called Opus Clip. I don't know if you guys ever heard of this. Tool that I just upgraded and it took a 2-hour video and it turned it into clips. Look how many clips I got. Look how many clips you see. I'm going to go in here, pull all the clips. Diamonds Mechanical Online Create Partners, Choose the Odds Against Learning Major, The Power of Solitude. Okay. Powerful. Okay, so I'm gonna click on download. I'm downloading this video now. Okay, see, I downloaded the video. Now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go into LinkedIn, The Power of Solitude, the gifting a quiet room. I'm gonna copy this. I'm gonna go to app.evi.ai. I'm gonna click on PostWriter. I'm going to select my own persona. Check this out. I'm going to select the persona. I'm going to say, talk about the power of solitude in a room. Ask people if they turn their phone on silent instead of being a slave to their phone. Okay, I'm gonna press GPT-4 generate. Now what it's gonna do is it's gonna write up an entire post for me. I'm gonna go into LinkedIn right now. I'm gonna click on the in, in button. I'm gonna click on media. I'm going to click on my downloads. I'm gonna click on the Gifting of Solitude, and I'm gonna draft a post right over here. You see it uploaded this. I'm gonna press next. I'm gonna go in here and I'm gonna say, I just interviewed the CEO of an HVAC company that sold after the founder grew it for over— grew it from 2 employees to $200 million a year. He gave me a ton of insights. He mentions how Greg Fisher gave him an idea to help him create more strategic Quiet time. Okay. Now I'm gonna go here. I'm gonna go to app.evi.ai and I'm gonna copy this, copy this post that it gave me, and I'm gonna paste this post right here. Have you ever turned off your phone in silence, sat in a quiet room and just listened to the silence? In our fast-paced, always-on solitude is a rare gift. It's a place where we can disconnect the noise of thoughts, a space where we can tap into the power of our minds, free from the constant pings. As an AI developer and a digital marketer, I've seen firsthand the power of technology, but I've also seen the importance of stepping back, sitting into a room, in a quiet room, and embracing solitude. You might be surprised at what you discover, even if you put your phone on silent for a few hours. And while you're at it, why not share your experience? Let's start a conversation about the power of silence. Tell me if you would put your phone on silent. Okay, now I'm going to delete this URL here. I don't need it. I'm going to say P.S. PS, if you want to see the full interview of this successful HVAC CEO, just tag an HVAC professional below and I'll share the full Interview with you when it's ready. Boom. Okay, I'm gonna press post. Do you guys see how long it took me to be able to do that? I don't know. I don't know if you guys noticed how long it took me. In the chat, I'm gonna stop sharing my screen for a second. In the chat, tell me, how long did it take me for me to take a clip that the AI edited, for me to start a post? That I would never be able to finish right now in this conversation, and then use Evy AI's post writer without any extensions. Just the app.evyai.com, app.evyai.com. Give it a topic that I copied and pasted from the AI that edited the video, and then put it in there. Make some modifications. Change the call to action a little bit. Give it a PS, whatever, and then hit post. And now I have a video on LinkedIn, an edited video that includes me and the CEO of a company that sold for $200 million. And mind you, I have 30 of those videos, 30 edited videos that are ready to go that I'm gonna be publishing in 2024. And I'm gonna have dozens of sets of videos like that, dozens of them. I'm targeting the HVAC industry. I don't know if you guys know this, but I am targeting the HVAC industry in 2024, and I'm gonna pick up a handful of clients in the HVAC industry. Why? Because the universe is pushing me in that direction, into that niche for digital marketing, and I'm gonna use LinkedIn as a springboard to help a bunch of HVAC people be successful. My question to you is, what industry are you targeting? Are you in a niche? Because the riches are in the niches and I want to help more people be able to be more successful in their particular niche. I want to help more thought leaders. So I just posted right now. You saw how long it took me. Did not take me a long time to do this. You can do this too. I want you to use Evvy AI. So that you can start posting on a regular basis so you can start impacting your community. So if you're committed to using it, say, I'm committed to using AI to help me grow my business. Let me know in the chat if you're committed. Liz says 2 minutes. Liz Stern said 2 minutes from Refugees International. David said, thanks for sharing. Be successful. Gotta go. You going in and out? Not sure if it's you or me not sharing sound. Don't hear you. Can't recommend Evie AI highly enough. Are you saying pulling in soundbites and long clips? Evie AI, I bought it, I use it. It's a game changer for me. It helps me write. It saves me countless hours. Richard said, always reply to comments. Evie AI. The voices are shitty committee holding you back. Ooh, the shitty committee. I love that, Joseph. Joseph, I love that very, very much. I love the shitty committee. I mean, I don't love the shitty committee, but Yeah, that's the idea. So question for you, what did you learn today? Did you get any value from this? Let me open up the captions. Let me open up the comments here. Let me drop the comments on the right side. I'm gonna click overlay. Guys, let me know what you do for a living in the comments right now. It'll come up on the screen. Let me know what you do for a living. Let me know where you're dialing in from. Let me know what value you got From this presentation, I did a presentation. We're coming up to the top of the hour, and I'm gonna have to hop because I have a sales call coming up at nine. But I'm curious to know what value did you get? Where are you dialing in from? What do you do for a living? What is your niche? What is your specialty? Go ahead, start sharing it in the chat. Share whatever you want to share. But if you can't chat, I totally understand. But if you can, it's gonna come up on the screen right now. Giacomo says, I learned a lot. What did you use to make the farmer pic? Lol. I use a tool called PFP Maker. I will share that link with you in the DM to create the farmer pic. As a matter of fact, I created many pics with that tool, and that's just one of many, many tools that we share in our AI business development circle. We have a circle that meets once a month called the AI Business Development Circle. You guys want me to share the screen? Type in mastermind in the chat and I will share with you personally, and I will give you an early bird special for those of you that wanna sign up today. I will give you guys a special, a special deal on the mastermind group. that you can join and you can watch the 3-hour session that we had on Monday. But Giacomo, I'm gonna share my screen real quick just to kind of show you. Share screen. This is the tool that I use. Look at this. Do any of these images look familiar? This is the Farmer Joe image right over here. I think this is the one I used. Is that the one I used? Let me go down. Let me see. Okay. This is the one I used. It came from this. I uploaded 20 photos of myself and it went and made all these beautiful photos. You may have seen this photo here or this photo here. You see, the AI generated all these photos. I don't even have to wear a tux. I don't have to fly private. The AI will help me fly private just like that. Click a button and boom. Okay, I'm gonna go down this, download this. Just press download and it downloads right over here. Go like this. I press 4K, it downloads a 4K version of that image. I go here, I press regular, it downloads a regular version of that image. You see how quickly it does that? If I wanna add hair to this photo, I can click this, I can throw it into Canva and I could just add more hair to the top. I can add a hat, I can add a Santa hat if I want. You guys wanna see me write, add a Santa hat? I can do that as well. But I just shared a video and I have 30 more videos to share that are like this one. Very impactful videos. Okay. So I'm going to refresh right over here just to kind of show you these posts that I post on average get 1,000 views. Each post gets on average about 1,000 views. If you are not building relationships, if you're not taking the right actions, you're not gonna be successful. Immediately started The Sound of Silence playing in my head. John said, So I'm gonna go ahead and I'm gonna reply to John right now. I'm gonna use GPT-4, which is a little more sophisticated in its answers. I'm gonna use a Joe Applebaum persona. Love that, John. The Sound of Silence can indeed be a powerful tune. John Browning. Okay. Love that, John Browning. The Sound of Silence can be— I hope that gives you a try to— okay, good. Boom.
