If you're doing networking wrong, networking is not going to be fun. It's going to be very, very difficult because you're trying to manipulate people. You're trying to sell. Don't sell at networking events. Instead, build real relationships. Get to know people. One of the most fulfilling things that you can do in life is establish relationships, friendships with people who know you, like you, trust you, and want to spend time with you. Those people genuinely care about your life. And so if you're doing it the right way, it's fun. And if networking is not fun for you, you don't have the right strategy. If networking is fun for you and you want to take it to the next level, definitely check out my book, High Energy Networking, where I talk about how to make networking fun.
