In this brief promotional audio, Dublin‑based photographer Joe Houghton introduces a series of Zoom‑compatible photographic talks he has been delivering to clubs across the UK and Ireland, especially during lockdown. He outlines two flagship sessions: a two‑hour long‑exposure workshop with a mid‑session break, and a street‑photography presentation that ties into his recently published book, Streets of Dublin. Both talks feature live Q&A via audio or chat, are recorded and later shared with club members so participants can focus on the content rather than note‑taking. Houghton invites clubs to contact him by phone or email to arrange a session.

Hi, my name is Joe Houghton and I'm a photographer based in Dublin in Ireland. I've got a few photographic talks that I've put together that are suitable for presentation via Zoom to clubs, and I've been delivering these talks to clubs around the UK and Ireland for the last few months. And I'm offering them to any other clubs that might be interested at the moment, especially with the lockdown going on. So all my details are below. If you'd be interested in having a chat, please give me a call or drop me an email, and we'll see what we can get set up. The most popular talk I've been doing recently is one on long exposure. This runs a couple of hours. We have a 10-minute break in the middle, and then with all my talks, what I do is record the session and then make it available as a video to the club members afterwards, so they don't have to be scribbling notes and they can kind of just focus on what we're talking about during the night. So we keep it nice and light, we have lots of chat, lots of questions via the audio or via the, the chat function, and make it as much like a normal club night as possible. The other popular talk that seems to be going down really well at the moment is my talk on street photography, and I released a little book on street photography last year called Streets of Dublin, So I just take you through my personal journey into the genre of street photography and then, you know, through a number of shots explaining how I took them and what techniques I used. And then I go into Lightroom and I take a raw image straight from the camera and show you how I edited that into the look that I've used for my street photography collection. So again, if that's of interest, please give me a call or drop me an email and we can see if we can get a date in the diary. Thanks for listening. Hope to hear from you soon. Bye. Bye.
