Hi, and welcome to the full-time Master's in Project Management at the UCD Smurfit Graduate School of Business. I'm Joe Houghton, and I'm the Programme Director and one of the teaching team. I'll be working with you through the programme and leading the initial module that you'll all take this semester, Management of Projects and Change. We'll be in room E117, which is just down the corridor behind the services desk. You'll find this as you get to know college. I know this can be an anxious time for some people. You're away from home, perhaps in a new country, But don't be shy, everybody else is feeling the same. So say hi to people in College, especially the ones who are looking lost in the first few days. Go and have a coffee together and just get to know one another. That's the best way to kind of make friends and get yourself plugged in quickly. If you do have any issues we can help with, the Programme Office staff, any staff at Smurfit, are there to help, so don't be afraid to ask if there is something that you need or something that's worrying you.
