Maximize soybean yield with properly timed nutrition

John Kempf explains how soybeans can produce 50-80% more pods when Accelerate is applied early, around 21 days after germination at just 2-3 quarts per acre. Timing matters: missing the window requires double the rate later. Extra pods only stick if potassium and other nutrients support them through the season.

Questions this video answers

About the third trifoliate (around 21 days post-germination).

About two to three quarts of Accelerate per acre.

Two quarts of Accelerate applied about 21 days post-germination produced a much greater crop response than eight quarts applied three weeks later.

He states increasing pod count by about 50% to 80% is "quite trivial" with an Accelerate application.

Greater root capacity and improved nutrient absorption—particularly higher potassium uptake—often achieved by combining Accelerate with macro and micro nutrient packs.
