Results of AEA's Regenerative Soil Health Program on Orchard Crops with Andy Lynd

Before we started working with aea, we experienced a lot of problems that all growers in the Midwest share, and that is insect problems and disease issues. And I first heard about AEA through an Acres magazine issue, and it was interesting to me. So I followed up on it, and I saw videos of John Kemp, which really just triggered some thoughts. And I followed it deeper and was very, I guess, impressed by what he had to say about some of the reasons growers experience the problems they do, not just with apples, but with any crop. And so I thought, what can we do with apples? Which led me to calling the company and getting hooked up with David. The most impressive results of a product I've used so far is in getting soil life to be apparent. And prior to the AEA products of seashield, Rejuvenate and Spectrum, if I was to apply mulch to the ground, I could go out and six months later, very much discern the line between the soil and the mulch. And after an application of SeaShield, Rejuvenate and Spectrum, you could see over time, I would say six months later, it's like, boy, there's a lot of activity in the soil. I see earthworms. If I take a trowel and dig, boy, you can find a lot of earthworm activity. And more impressively to me is the mixing of the mulch on top of the ground pulled down into the soil by the earthworms. So I thought that was a very positive thing to start happening on our farm, which, prior to the AEA products, we did not see or realize.
