Brandon Calvillo watched a video of a woman eating breakfast who unexpectedly farted, then recreated the scene with her. In post-production, he stretched her laugh into a prolonged, maniacal version to punch up the joke.
Tell me a little bit about the breakfast bagel bit. How did you arrive at that and why did you shoot it?
Oh, right. Yeah, that was literally just, I saw that video and it was structured like she was talking to somebody. And I was like, that'd be funny if I was just eating breakfast with her. That'd be funny. And then when she farted, because when I was watching the video, when she farted, I was like, that's it. I was like, that's so funny. And, and then so the laugh that she does at the end, that's kind of this like almost kind of like maniacal. I added that in. That wasn't in her video. I like added in her laughing that long. And I was like, that's, that's a funny bit.
