Hey everybody, I'm Josh Nasser here with Mercury Insurance finding out people's best and most amazing first concert experiences and so much more. Tell me, what does it mean to go to a concert with your mom?
It's her birthday, so this is for her birthday. It's her birthday. Yeah! Tell me your first concert experience.
I was 13. It was after a Cleveland Browns game, and I went with my grandma. Hold on, you went with your grandma to a concert? What concert was it, and why did you go with her? Well, it was after the Browns game. She took me to the game, and then after the game, it was, uh, it was Air Supply. Did Grandma have a fun time? She hated it. The whole time she had her, she had her hands over ears going, I hate heavy metal, I hate— and hold on a second, Air Supply is not heavy metal. No, it's '70s cheese rock for sure. But if it's not Sinatra, to my grandma, it's heavy metal. But was it a good memory for you to be there with Grandma after the Browns game? I didn't like either part of it. No, I didn't. Okay, okay. I mean, it was a Browns game, so that was terrible. The concert was bad, and my grandma hated it. You know what, you're paying homage to your grandma by wearing her sofa as a jacket. Tell us, what is your favorite memory from being at a live concert? Um, there's a devilish look in her eye. Did you see that? She just went—
well, there's some things I just can't talk about.
I guess there's things that happen at a concert that you just can't talk about. Tell me your first concert experience?
Celine Dion. And who did you go with? I went with my lady, and it was crazy because I knew more lyrics than her.
Hold on a second, you're telling me you know more lyrics to Celine Dion than your lady?
Yes.
Near, far, wherever you are. I got to be honest, that wasn't that bad. I wasn't— I was expecting worse. Now I'm picturing in my mind you wearing complete Celine Dion merch. Did you guys buy any hats, t-shirts, shoes, anything?
Oh God, all All his shirts even got a backpack!
