John Bohan shows how to use Sora, OpenAI's text-to-video tool. You can craft prompts, choose visual styles like stop-motion or film noir, stitch clips together with storyboards, and use the reimagine tool to transform videos. Access costs $20/month for 50 five-second videos or $200/month for 500 videos up to 20 seconds through ChatGPT.

Sora just launched recently, and what I'm gonna do in this video is I'm gonna show you how to use it and why it matters to you as a content creator or advertiser. Once you log into Sora, which I'm gonna do here on my computer, you can go to the feed page where you can get inspired by what other people are doing. And already text-to-video content is incredible. What I love to do is I love to go to the individual videos and click on the prompts to see what other people are creating because it's all about learning how to prompt correctly, right? For example, let's see what this prompt says here. A video of a Viking walking through a mountainous snowy landscape near the ocean. Pretty cool. So at the bottom, you can put in your own prompt to create a video and/or upload an image. You can also choose the type of style you want, such as stop motion or film noir. Then I can pick the aspect ratio for my image or video. So I'm going to choose 9:16. And you can pick the resolution and length of video and how many variations that you want. Then you have the storyboard version where you can piece together several different videos at once to make a longer, longer video. Soar also allows you to reimagine videos. So for example, you could take an existing video of a woolly mammoth and change it to robots. Pretty cool. I think it's fascinating and I think it's also a complete game changer when it comes to all different types of storytelling platforms. You can get access to Sora if you're either a paid or plus subscriber of ChatGPT. $20 per month gives you access to 50 video generations that are 5 seconds in length, and $200 per month gives you 500 generations that are up to 20 seconds in length. I think the best thing to do is to just jump in, learn from all the other different prompts, create a number of your own videos so that when the rest of the world jumps into this, you're going to be far ahead of it because it's sure to be a game changer.
