For the holidays, Pilot gave me $500 to give to one of my favorite nonprofit organizations called The Beat in Nashville. And we're here, we're gonna pick up a check. I chose The Beat because they are doing some incredible work to help those in need by providing food, medical attention, camping equipment, jobs, and sometimes just somebody to talk to and hang out with. It was started by a good friend of mine, Darren Bradbury, who's an incredible musician, songwriter, and cartoonist. He has a huge heart and has dedicated much of his life life to helping those in need. I felt blessed to spend the day with Darren and his director Sarah to see how much good they bring with the donations they receive. So thank you, Pilot, for providing support and awareness for such an awesome cause. Here's Darren on why he plays music and runs The Beat.
These are my people. I love them to pieces. It makes going out on stage really easy because I'm able to go and know that every time I'm singing a song, getting paid for it, it's directly benefiting helping these folks get into a better situation.
Nothing's ever gonna hold me back. Nothing's ever gonna hold me back. Unchanged. Unchanged.
