January 2026 Astrology Predictions: Big Shifts, Earthquakes & Market Volatility

This month will start out in a big bang. What a beginning for a new year. Because let me tell you, the planetary energies this month are like none I have ever seen. This is very rare what's happening in January. So get ready. This month is going to be shocking. So let me just start with the first week. Now in reality the first two weeks of January are going to be intense. Well really I got to say the whole month there's one thing after another. But let me explain explain where I'm going with this. Let me start with the full moon. There's a full moon on January 3rd and it sits at 18 degrees of Gemini. Now I want to remind everyone another thing. I am a sidereal Vedic astrologer. The placements I use are the true placements of where the planets are. Astronomically that is not western astrology. So this full moon in Gemini really full moons are this lunation brings out things, it lights up the night sky. So it really illuminates certain aspects and things going on in the world. And in Gemini it's going to be about communications, about learning, education. But most of all it can even deal with traveling and because it deals with communications, of course it deals with the media. And the media has been hard at work for years to get us to think like they want us to. And most of us are onto it. But what happens with this full moon? People are starting to wake up to this. But during the time of this full moon, we're starting to get all of these lineups that come together. The week of January 6th through the 10th, and particularly January 9th, is the most important because on that day we are going to have Mars, Venus and Sun the same degree. And opposing that will be Jupiter, the same degree, all at 25 degrees. So what I'm saying is the sun will be with Venus, Mars 25 degrees Sagittarius, and Jupiter opposes that from Gemini, 25 degrees of Gemini. And this is so interesting because basically when you have planets aligned with the sun, it's not good because the sun will cause combustion. But on that one day we are going to have them, what's called cassimi. Whenever you have planets that line up the same exact degree, it's cassimi. Cassimi means they become one with the sun, but that's only for a very short time. Then they become combust. So that's where you have highs and lows of events. The cassimi means Venus and Mars are together on the sun. So they unite and the sun puts out its rays of both Venus and Mars. And they're quite opposite energies. Mars is anger, it can deal well, it's definitely high, high energy. It can deal with war, but Venus deals with peace. So you got both actions hitting at the same time, particularly around the 9th of January, and this really wakes us up. But then days before and days after that, these two planets are burnt by the sun. So in other words, they lose their power. Furthermore, when you get two planets together, I'm not talking about the sun, the sun is combust. But when planets are the same degree, this is actually called planetary war. And this planetary war means these planets are fighting for attention. So this is not very congruent, is it? We're having all this massive energy of opposites colliding together. But then we've got Jupiter aspecting it by opposition. And Jupiter many times can expand things, make them bigger. But the signs that they're in are fascinating. Let me tell you why. We have The Sun, Venus, Mars, 25 degrees of Sagittarius. Sagittarius is the sign that deals with justice and truth. And Jupiter being in Gemini, deals with the media, deals with communications, also deals with traveling. And the signs that we're dealing with Gemini and Sag, they deal with travel as well. So I do want to say take caution traveling around this time. There could be some upsets with aircraft, airplanes, things of that nature during this time. It really does make things upset. Now, as Jupiter is aspecting these planets, it's aspecting Sagittarius, which is the sign it rules. And I failed to mention that Mercury is also in the sign of Sagittarius, except it's not exactly conjunct, but it is with Sun, Venus, Mars, Mercury. So Jupiter's aspect, though, to all these planets in the sign that it rules will empower this for something good that will come out of this. Something very good will come out of this huge collision. And Mercury happens to be in Sagittarius. But remember, Jupiter is in the sign of Gemini. So what I'm trying to say is these planets are in each other's signs of rulership. Jupiter is in Gemini, ruled by Mercury. Mercury's in Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter. What does that mean? These planets are united as one. So this Jupiter, Mercury, they're actually in what we call a sambhandha, because sambhanda means when they fully aspect each other, plus they're in each other's signs of rulership. So these two planets become in unison. They operate together. And this will mean a huge opening of truth, Sagittarius, about what the media has been doing. And here's another thing. All during this time, and really most of 2025 and on into 2026, we have a very, very important aspect occurring where Saturn and Neptune are together. And this Saturn, Neptune deals specifically with delusions, illusions and cults where people are completely brainwashed. And what I surmise from all of this energy is, well, let's think about it. Saturn is reality, Neptune is illusion. And the sign they're in Pisces deals with beliefs. So what I'm trying to tell you is people's beliefs are based on a delusion or many people have been living in a mindset where they have been brainwashed. And I don't necessarily mean cults, I mean the media. It's like people are believing and living their lives by their beliefs. And for the most part, some of these beliefs, and most of them are incorrect. The governments have been lying to us. That's what I'm trying to say. It happened with COVID People are starting to catch on, but it's really rampant now. And here is what I think comes out of it. People that are waking up, let me put it this way, if somebody's been in a cult their entire life and all of a sudden they realize everything they've been taught is wrong, they don't just wake up. Their minds kind of crack. They are so confused for a while that they feel like they're going crazy. And another thing is when people are in denial their entire life, their mind starts to crack and they tend to kind of go crazy. So what I'm talking about, sincerely, is there is a lot of mental health and mental illness going on around the world, and we wonder why. Part of this is what I'm talking about, and that is why we're having so many mass shootings and assassinations, because people's minds have been brainwashed and they're in a state of denial for so long that their minds begin to crack. A lot of work has to be done in the area of mental illness and awakening to it all. And this is the year it's going to happen, too. Let me jump into this. This area that I want to talk about and I want to tell you guys, please remember to listen to the entire video because I'm getting to some major points that you need to know for this month. But Rahu, Rahu and Ketu, these are the nodes of the moon. They are really the indicators of our destiny. And Rahu and Ketu, when they do come together with the sun and the moon, they create eclipses. So eclipses are one of the most powerful tools we have for prediction, but it's truly based on where Rahu and Ketu are. So Rahu being in Aquarius and Ketu being in Leo, this is a big pull. And we're going to find that there's going to be major changes in government leaders. Why? Because Leo rules presidents and kings, and Rahu, that was Ketu. Rahu sits in Aquarius, which deals with humanity. So one is for the one leader and the other is for all of humanity. And this is what is going to be healed during this process. Now, Rahu and Ketu will pretty much be in Rahu and Aquarius, Ketu and Leo for till the end of November. So basically almost the whole year of 2026. But Rahu is in the Nakshatra. Now let's take it down another level, into the Nakshatra called Shadow Bishak. That Nakshatra is called the Hundred Healers. And what it actually pertains to is healing. And this means there's going to be some amazing discoveries around healing this year. And I believe one of the most important things that needs to be Healed is the mental health problems. So Rahu actually indicates the head of the dragon where Ketu is the tail. The head can deal with the mind, the mental cognition, what is going on in the minds of people around the world. And I believe there's going to be an opening and a healing. And when I say mental disease, I'm talking about everything that is a problem with the mind, such as depression, Alzheimer's, all sorts of mental issues, bipolar, but most of all, addictions. The think of if we come up with a healing for mental disease and of course, all of the illusions that people are a part of now, this will change the world incredibly. And I know this year the vibrational frequency is going to come up, people are going to awaken and change. There's going to be a healing. And especially with many of the hard to cure diseases that we know of, cancers and things like that, we're going to make great progress Going back 18 and a half years, by the way, every 18 and a half years, the nodes will return to where they were before. So I went back to 2007 to see what happened when Rahu was in Aquarius and Ketu in Leo and the iPhone came out. I went back again another 18 and a half years prior to that, 1969. And that's when the Internet actually began, as well as putting a man on the moon. Think about this. This is a time of great discoveries this year. And of course, you know, I've been talking so much about extraterrestrials. This is the year of disclosure. Why do I say that astrologically, Rahu being in the Nakshatra shadow, Bishak, that is a Nakshatra, that is called the sky watcher. And people that have this Nakshatra strong in their charts are fascinated with, with what's out in space. So they love astrology, they love astronomy, and they love the subject of opening up to learn what's out there in the universe. And most definitely, if you are a logical thinker, you're going to know we're not alone. This is coming out. Think about how many people, when this truth comes out, how it's been repressed for so long. And I also believe a lot of cures for diseases have been repressed for so long. That is going to be a huge awakening and it will mean that people will, some will not be able to handle it. And that's what I'm talking about with the denials and the disease. Okay, one more thing. I want to go back to the full moon. That happens January 3rd. It's going to happen in Gemini with Jupiter, which can be a positive, except for it's going to be in the Nakshatra called Ardra. And this Nakshatra symbol is a teardrop. And it is ruled by the storm God Rudra, which means it can be devastating, it can be destructive, but it clears the way for a healing. That is Ardra now opposite the moon. Now we have all those planets in Sagittarius, but I want to point out Mercury because during the time of this full moon, Mercury is in the Nakshatra called Mula. And Mula's God is Nriti. Goddesses Nriti and Nriti is the goddess of destruction. And so Ardra and Nriti means some major forces occurring which with great destruction in order to clear the air for a new world. This month, it all starts to really, really kick in. So another thing talking about the new Moon, we'll have a New Moon on January 18th. And this is going to be where all the planets that were in Sagittarius revert to Capricorn. So we are going to have a huge stellium of planets in Capricorn. We'll have Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Pluto. And all of these planets lined up represent major shifts and changes within governments around the world. Capricorn rules governments. And this is probably the aftermath of what's coming from the major events in January. This is giant. So I get there's going to be attacks, war, peace, everything happens all at once. How can that be? Watch and see. It's all going to pan out now. Also during the time of this new Moon, Mars and Mercury will be exactly conjunct at 2 degrees. This means mental fighting, arguing, not coming together in alignment at all with belief systems. But here is what's so important about it. Mars, when it's in Capricorn is exalted. That is its strongest placement. And so Mars becomes really powerful and active. And I believe that this deals with the changes and restructuring of governments due to the events that are happening in both January and in February. These months are pivotal for the year. You will see what I mean very, very soon. So there's another thing around January 14th. This will actually be the day that Mercury and Jupiter exactly oppose each other. So I think that that could be a time. And they will both be 25 degrees once again. Gemini and Sagittarius. And it does have an enormous event dealing with maybe discoveries with travel. A lot of things are going to open up to a new way of traveling inventions. And another thing is that is going to change Our perception, the way we travel, maybe we're getting information from other worlds that can help us better understand traveling, take it to a new level. Now another thing that I have to mention, this aspect's been going on and off since 2025 as well. But it's going to come back to Its exact aspect, January 20th. Now usually when I give you an exact date, it can be anywhere around there, especially when you're dealing with very slow moving planets. And what I'm talking about is Saturn is going to fully aspect with its third full aspect to Uranus. In Vedic astrology, it's actually a sextile, but it is 100% in power. So Saturn to Uranus means sudden unexpected events and Uranus typically means earthquakes. So looking at the solar eclipse, it's due to happen in February, I think it's February 17th. I looked at its eclipse path and what an eclipse path is is where the eclipse is clearly seen on Earth where you could see the eclipse occurring. That's the eclipse path. And this eclipse path happens to be in Antarctica or close to Antarctica, but the nearest landmass to it New Zealand. And with this aspect of earthquakes occurring, it could happen in February or January, but the Exact day is January 20th. It usually happens around there. I think that this is going to upset things in New Zealand because it is close to that eclipse path. Furthermore, with Antarctica being disturbed and disrupted, this can also mean maybe the poles are melting more. This is serious stuff. This is going to create some very serious happenings on Earth. So that is something we really need to be the lookout for. Not that we can do much about it, but they do say that global warming is happening. Big argument there. One way or another, the astrology says that something will happen due to a connection with Antarctica. So this is month I must say look to that period of time where I'm talking about around the 6th through the 10th and the 9th being the dead. On another thing I can say about this, the stock market will be going crazy. And usually when Venus is Cassimi the sun, that is when the stock market goes some obscure stocks can go sky high and then come way down. That's what I saw actually with some stocks previously, years ago. All right, so another thing I noticed in my research is that when Venus was Cassimi the sun, we had more earthquakes. So I'm going to say earthquakes are in effect for January, February. Those are the serious months for some serious looking earthquakes. So what I want you to know, this month is like the jump start, the big bang that starts the year this year is going to change all of our lives in some amazing incredible ways and it's usually not easy. Change isn't usually easy but we have to go through it to get to our destination which will be a better place. A healing discoveries. It's all about to unfold here. So many exciting things are about to happen and one thing I can say with ultimate sincerity is everything happens for a divine reason and even though we may not understand it it's happening for a purpose that I believe is good and it's going to change all of our lives.
