In this brief astrology forecast, Joni Patry explains that on Friday, July 24, the Moon is positioned in the middle of Scorpio, a sign where the Moon is considered debilitated. The Moon forms oppositions to both Mars and Uranus, and sits at the midpoint between the lunar nodes Rahu and Ketu (23‑24°). Patry notes that Mars at 23° is a particularly volatile degree, often linked to upsets and violence. With Mercury moving direct, she warns that the day will be emotionally intense for everyone, with the potential for sudden, unexpected changes and possible violent incidents. Listeners are advised to stay aware of these heightened energies.

Friday, July 24th. Moon is smack dab in the middle of Scorpio, said to be a friendship, but it's a little heavy because the Moon is debilitated, let's face it. And today it's going to be opposed Mars and opposed Uranus, so there are some unexpected events that occur today. And Mars is actually at a very touchy degree I've noticed this 23 degrees in the zodiac causes all sorts of upsets. So today there can be some type of violence, upsets, things going wrong. Be aware. But with this, Mercury is direct, and let's see— no, the moon does sit at the midpoint between Rahu and Ketu, actually the 23rd and the 24th, an intense day emotionally all around for everyone. I think things could change unexpectedly on a dime today, and there could be some type of violence that breaks out.
