Malavya Yoga: When Venus Is the Most Powerful Planet in Astrology

Foreign.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about another Mahapurusha yoga. Remember, they're called Pancha Mahapurusha yogas because there's five of them. Pancha means five, Maha means grand or great, and Purusha means of men. So the next one I want to talk about is when you have Venus as a Mahapurushi yoga and what placements do Venus have to be in in order for this to be a Mah Prusha yoga? And the way that it works is when you have these planets in an angular or Kendra is what we call it in Vedic astrology. When you have these planets in a Kendra in the sign that they rule and the sign that they're exalted in. So whenever you have these yogas, remember it means that planet becomes over the top. Who you are, you are going to exude the qualities of everything this planet is about. These yogas are powerful. I love when I see these in a chart because everything that planet's about becomes who they are. So let's talk about Venus. So in order to have Venus as the Mahapurusha yoga in your chart, it is called a Malavaya yoga. So Venus as Amalavaya yoga means it must be in only three signs, which are Libra and Taurus. Those two signs are the sign of rulership. So Venus rules over those two signs, Taurus and Libra. And that pretty much gives you an idea that.

Those signs are very Venusian. If you could say Libra is very graceful, charming, beautiful. Taurus is very loving and sensitive and beautiful and loves nature. So they are Venus ruled signs. But the sign that it's exalted in Pisces, Pisces is when you put Venus in, it is so loving, it's so caring, it's so creative. Remember, Venus is the quality of being creative and all three signs will represent creativity. It's my dog, but.

And so he agrees with the creative part of Venus. But, but the other thing is when you have Venus in either Taurus, Libra or Pisces, then I start looking to see if you have a Lakshmi yoga because remember, Venus rules wealth because one of the prerequisites in order to have this yoga, which is a Lakshmi yoga of wealth, the first thing is you have to have Venus in one of those three signs, otherwise you don't have it at all. And then the other variables, such as the Ascendant ruler being strong and the ninth house ruler being strong, we'll talk about that in another video. As a matter of fact, I've already done a video on the Lakshmi Yoga. You can search it out in my channel here. But going back to the Mahaprushi Yoga, Lakshmi Yoga, to have it, Venus must be in those three signs. Libra, Taurus or Pisces. And it has to be in what houses, 1, 4, 7 or 10. These are the Kendras, these are the angles. And when planets are placed in the angles, they become more powerful to create their essence within you. They shine, they're powerful. So.

So looking at that Venus being exalted or in Libra or Taurus, in the first house, the person's beautiful. They exude beauty, charm, grace, everything that Venus is about. And don't forget, Venus rules creativity and it rules wealth and money. As I always say, Jupiter rules millionaires, Venus rules billionaires. Because Venus rules luxury items, large luxury items such as yachts, cars, planes, all these things that are the mega wealthy. So that's why it constitutes the Lakshmi Yoga to have Venus in these signs. But also when you have Venus in the first house, everything about you will be everything that Venus is. Graceful, beautiful, charming, creative, and possibly even wealthy. It's, you know, there's other variables in the chart that depict all of this, but this is a great benefit to have Venus this powerful and strong. Put Venus in the fourth house. You come from a powerful family. Your mother's beautiful, charming, graceful. And another thing is you'll live in a beautiful home. You love art, decorating, all the things that beautify your environment and yourself, because this is still you. And Venus in the seventh house can deal with you as a beautiful, creative, charming person because it's aspecting the first house. But it will also talk about your partner. And many times they say when Venus is in the seventh house, you will have a very attractive partner. But on top of that, they may be wanted by others. So sometimes Venus in the seventh house is a double edged sword. Yes, they're handsome or beautiful, but the opposite sex is going to be looking at them all the time. Okay, Venus in the 10th, you could be an artist, you could be creative, you could have your own business, you could be in fashion, beauty, design, makeup, hair, all the things that Venus rules. And furthermore, it means you will have an incredibly powerful presence where your reputation, everyone always sees you. And a beautiful light. So I've seen many performers, maybe they're not artists in the sense that I just described, but their reputation and the way that they present themselves to the world, everyone loves them. Venus is beauty. Don't forget that. So with that I'd like to close. I think this will probably give you better insight of looking at charts when you see someone has the Malavaya yoga. And don't forget, this is a good place for me to talk about my jewelry. Very Venus.
