New Moon: February 11th: Dramatic Endings Before a New Beginning

YouTube video by astrologer Joni Patry discussing the New Moon on February 11, 2021 in Capricorn. The presenter highlights an unusually heavy stellium (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto) around 29° Capricorn, Mercury retrograde, Mars squaring the New Moon, and Rahu trine influence. She interprets these placements via Vedic astrology and the Nakshatra Dhanishta (associated with drums, timing, wealth, and ruled by Mars), emphasizing themes of rebuilding economies/structures, urgent completion of tasks, contention around decision-making, and potential breakthroughs despite obstacles.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the New moon that happens February 11, of course, 2021. And this new Moon.
Really powerful because it happens in Capricorn, but it's there with so many planets. We have the Sun Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto. Seven planets are all aligned in Capricorn. So what is Capricorn? This is the time of the year of rebuilding, making something new, redoing things that deal with what the economy, dealing with government, dealing with.
Everything that deals with structure around the world. So we're looking at rebuilding, and boy, do we have a lot to rebuild from all the devastation that has occurred with this coronavirus. So this is incredible. Then one thing I want you to know during this New Moon, and the New Moon is actually when the sun and the Moon are exactly together.
We also have Jupiter and Venus exactly together. They're the same degree at 18 degrees. And sometimes they say this is a planetary war. Of course, give it a day or two and it's out of the war. But they're really. You think Jupiter and Venus are great benefics, but they're actually arch enemies in Vedic astrology. So this is a time of a little bit of contention. There is probably a war going on around the world concerning rebuilding and government and what everybody feels is the right thing or not the right thing to do. There's stress and trouble during this time. Plus, during the time of this, of this New Moon, we have Mercury that's gone back into Capricorn and we have Mercury retrograde. So everything's about rehashing, redoing, reviving, reflection, things that need to be done that have been hanging on for a long time and haven't been finished. So this is a lot to do. This is a month full of work. A lot of things are going on. Another thing that's going on with this New Moon is that Mars is squaring it, and Mars causes contention and blocks. So you're going to find this is a frustrating time. But let's look at the Nakshatra. And by the way, one thing I didn't even mention is the degree of this New moon, which is 29 degrees of Capricorn. When you have planets at their very last degree mark, it means that there's something that is about to be complete. And sometimes they say when planets are at that last degree, they're weakened, they're too old, they're. But I feel like they're the ones that have the most Wisdom, because when they come to the last and final degree, it is powerful. They call this the energetic degrees in Western astrology, but I call it the planet of old age, because what comes with that is wisdom and maturity. And we're dealing with the sign Capricorn. So a lot of wisdom and maturity are coming forth. But I have to say it also means that something needs to be pulled back and finished before we go into the next sign. Because we're at that last final degree, something is incomplete and not done yet. So this starts, the new moon starts what's happening for the next month. So this reflection of 29 degrees really does reflect the entire month that this new moon started on. You see? So this deals with so much with finishing, redoing and completing things. And it has to do with the foundation and the structure of everything that's been changing in the world and how everything needs to change for this new beginning. Everything. We don't have much time. It's kind of saying, finish this because we don't have that much time ahead. And that's what's going to be happening now. Rahu, while it's in Taurus, is casting a trine to all of these planets, which does give a great advantage to expansion and change. This is all very, very good. But let's talk now about the Nakshatra that this new moon is in. It is in the Nakshatra called Danishta. And Dhanishta is the Nakshatra. Its symbol is a drum because it actually deals with beat, timing, and sometimes even music. So there's something to do with timing, being at the right place at the right time and things that have to be done on time. So this is Dhanishta. Dhanista actually said to be the richest one. And it does deal with money and wealth. People with this Nakshatra strong in their chart are very wealthy.
So it deals with wealth. But I'll tell you something else about that Nakshatra. It is not a good Nakshatra for marriage. And people that may have a planet in the seventh house or the ruler of the seventh house being in Dhanista, have marriage issues, something they need to work on. So Dhanushta is not the easiest Nakshatra to get along with. Why? It's ruled by Mars. And Mars is intense. Mars is the planet of action. It's not very patient. It's impulsive. So to have this new moon means there's a lot of energy and impulse and frustration. Some things are holding back, some things are saying you have to go forward as fast as you can. So you're going to find this to be a very disruptive time with all of this energy. And it's all saying it has to be about rebuilding the economy around the world, rebuilding people's jobs, professions, a new beginning that must occur. But we have a lot of work to finish before we get there. That's pretty much what this is telling me. And Dhanista, that means that you look to where Mars is and how it is, what is it doing during this time of the full moon. And when I look to Mars, of course it's in Aries, but it goes to Bharani, which is the Nakshatra that deals with major breakthroughs and new beginnings. And it's tough too. So we have an array of planets that, that are all kind of contentious and fighting against each other, if I could say that. New beginnings, new starts. But everything's kind of jump starting too fast. We got to pull back and be more aware and plan things.
But what I'm seeing and feeling is there's a sense of there's no time left. We're running out of time. That's what I see with this.
New Moon. And Dhanista, well, it does deal with. It does deal with music because the drum deals with beat and rhythm and patterns. So there could be some something dealing with new music, new creations coming out with movies and particularly musical songs that we will be more in alignment. Maybe they're songs that really align with these times and what we're going through. And it's not easy. So, Dhanishta.
It does deal with healing too, at times, and it deals with progress. It's a powerful, strong Nakshatra ruled by Mars, but it's in Capricorn.
So this is a time of new beginnings and we're going to break through all of the frustration and anger to get to where we need to go. So change is eminent, even though there's going to be major obstacles to get there. But change will happen with major breakthroughs during this time. So get ready. This is a very interesting.
New moon, especially with it being at 29 degrees. Finishing up something, finishing up something in the government and leaders around the world, they're at their last phase.
Before something new transpires and occurs. I think it's kind of a big explosive event that this is predicting is we're on the edge in the preface of an explosive change. So with that, I'd like to close.
