Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Today I want to talk about Venus Sukra, which rules Libra and Taurus. And Venus is the ability of attraction, because Venus rules relationships by and large. So how do we love, how do we fall in love? Our connectedness to others through love and romance. And remember that Venus deals with our power of attraction, how attractive someone is. It deals with luxuries, it deals with beauty, rules all of the professions that take on different aspects of beauty, such as fashion, makeup, hair, creativity, art, music. And it can also rule theater and dancing. So it's all these forms of self expression that deal with beauty. The other aspect is flowers, making the world a more beautiful place. And it can deal with design, design in terms of decorating and decorating the home. Venus is the feminine influence, even though it is the leader of its planetary camp, the Asuras, which can be determined as the sort of like the devils, the demons. But in essence it truly isn't. It's just the opposite opposing force of Jupiter, which is the leader of the other opposing planetary camp, which is the Devas. So Venus is all about the power to attract. It's about luxuries in life. It can deal with cars, it deals with airplanes, it deals with extreme wealth. Because in order to have a Lakshmi Yoga, which represents extreme wealth in a chart, Venus must first be in its sign of rulership or its sign of exaltation. Otherwise you don't have Lakshmi yoga. Venus rules Taurus and Libra and is exalted in the sign of Pisces. Pisces is this fluid understanding sign. So to have Venus in Pisces is someone who is non judgmental in relationships, whereas the opposing force Venus is debilitated in the sign of Virgo. And Virgo can be so ultra megacritical that to have Venus and Virgo, people sometimes can't get over scrutinizing the partner. They don't like the way they chew, they don't like the way they walk, they don't like certain things that are nitpicky and therefore can disturb relationships. So Venus is exalted in Pisces, debilitated and Virgo. Now Venus rules Friday.
The gemstone that's associated to Venus is the diamond. Go figure. Of course it's going to be the diamond. What do we give but a diamond ring when we get married? So this is all relative to marriage and relationships. In a man's chart, Venus represents the wife. And I believe Venus can represent relationships by and large, regardless if you're male or female. So Venus in terms of wealth and luxuries will give mega wealth, Mega luxuries represents the arts. It represents everything to do with the creative potential, with beauty and design, art and aesthetics. You know, how do you look? And Venus can definitely give grace and charm. When Venus is in the first house, someone is very aesthetically beautiful. They're charming, they're graceful, they know how to. They have social skills. Venus gives social skills. And I don't think this is something that can be taught. It's something that is innate. Venus in the second house will bring wealth and money. And Venus in the third house can deal with closeness or good relations with brothers or sisters. Venus in the fourth house can represent a beautiful mother. Venus in the fifth house could represent female children or someone that is extremely creative. And it may not represent female children. That's probably half and half because it depends on the sign whether it's male or female that it's in. But Venus in the fifth is highly creative, artistic. Venus in the sixth house can be healthy, but may be overindulgent and sometimes attracted to sweets. Venus in the seventh house is actually not that good because it represents that there's too many adoring partners, which can cause jealousy in relationships. Venus in the eighth house can represent betrayal or losses in love. Venus in the 10th house can be a career in fashion and creative arts. Shining Venus in the 11th House can represent many friends, especially females, or being involved in many groups or organizations. Venus in the 12th house can be travels with foreigners. And Venus actually in the 12th house picks up strength. It's the only planet that does well in the 12th house. And it will represent.
Great wealth and luxuries can come to the individual. So Venus also receives Digbalah. One of its places where it creates its greatest strength is in the fourth house.
