In this brief daily astrology forecast, astrologer Joni Patry outlines the celestial setup for Wednesday, August 19. She notes that the Moon will spend most of the day in Libra before moving into Scorpio in the evening, and that it resides in the nakshatra Vishakha—a segment traditionally associated with determination, triumph, and an undefeated spirit. Patry emphasizes that the Moon is waxing, gaining light, which she interprets as an auspicious window for decisive, productive action. She also reminds viewers that the coming two weeks lead up to a lunar eclipse that follows a solar eclipse, signaling a period of intensified astrological energy. The overall message encourages listeners to harness the day’s determined vibe to accomplish tasks.

August 19th, and this is a Wednesday. The Moon will be in Libra most of the day. By the evening, it will be in Scorpio. It's in the nakshatra Vishakha, and Vishakha is the most determined, undefeated one of all. Its symbol is a triumphal archway. So this is a day that you might feel compelled to really get Things done. And you will, yes. So use this day because the Moon is waxing, gaining in light during this time. But I still— there are so many undercurrents that are going on, particularly don't forget this week, these 2 weeks are right before the lunar eclipse from the solar eclipse, so things are intensifying profoundly.
