YouTube video (Dec 11, 2025) by astrologer Joni Patry analyzing Gavin Newsom’s Vedic (sidereal) natal chart and predictive dashas to assess his prospects for a 2028 U.S. presidential bid. Patry highlights Newsom’s Leo ascendant, Pluto at 27° Leo (conjunct ascendant), Jupiter and Venus in the 1st house (Jupiter ~5.5° Leo), Moon in Sagittarius (Purva Ashada nakshatra), and other placements (Saturn in 8th, Rahu in 9th). She argues Newsom will be in a Jupiter–Rahu dasha from Sept 10, 2027 through Feb 3, 2030 and that transiting Jupiter conjoining his Sun (~23° Virgo) around the Nov 7, 2028 election is a highly favorable indicator for winning, drawing parallels to astrological patterns present during Donald Trump’s election wins. The video ends with cautious caveats (opponents unknown, other transits) and promotional remarks for Patry’s services.

Foreign. Hi, I'm Joni Petrie, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, I want to talk about something. I know this is way too early to be talking about this, but. But I couldn't resist the opportunity to bring this to everyone's attention now, just because, as you guys know, I'm an astrologer, lifelong astrologer. It is my passion and my mission, and I wanted you to see how astrology works, because it does work. Yes. So this is not meant to be political, but of course it's going to be taken as political because everyone is politically minded these days. But this is about astrology. So please get all of your political views out of the way, because we want to know what the astrology is telling us, right? Yes, we do. So guess what? I'm going to show you. He has been in the news a lot, so it prompted me to look at his chart. And. And let me tell you this. You're going to see more and more and more of this individual in the news based on his chart. So who in the world am I talking about? Gavin Newsom. Yes. When I pulled up his chart and looked at it, I thought, oh, my God, Now, I don't have the other candidates to charts yet. A lot can happen in the next three years. Right? But based on his chart, I think he could be the next president. I do. Whether you like this or not, I want to show you why. And let me tell you why. He has all the same things going on his chart that President Trump did the first go round when he was elected. And I predicted that. And I predicted that President Trump would be elected the last time as well. What it takes in a chart, Gavin Newsom has it. So this is not about my political rhyme or reason. It's about astrology. So, please, you know, that's another thing. Astrologers cannot be objective. And I know probably down below in the comments, everybody's gonna go nuts about this. But let's take it strictly about the astrology and why I'm seeing this and why I think we're going to see more and more and more of him based on his chart. So let me scoot over and give you the rhyme and reason. So I'm pulling up Gavin Newsom's chart. I don't care what he's done as the governor. All. All I want to do is show you what the chart is. Now, the first thing I look at in a chart always is the ascendant. The ascendant is what that makes your chart different than everyone else's. Because it's based on the time you were born. And do remember this, guys, I am a Vedic sidereal astrologer. This is Vedic astrology, not Western tropical, but it is more specific. It is the astrology I choose because of its accuracy. Now, looking at his ascendant, it's Leo. Who has a Leo Ascendant? Donald Trump. And guess what? Also J.D. vance does have a Leo Ascendant. But looking at J.D. vance's, which I'll be looking at once we get closer to the elections. We don't know actually 100% who's running, but I guarantee, looking at Gavin Newsom's chart, he's running. So Leo ascendant. Leo is the king. It's the ruler, it's the leader. Leo takes charge. He has a Leo rising just like Donald Trump does. Yes. And looking at his chart, he actually has Jupiter and Venus in the first house, which would give him charm and charisma. And being in Leo makes him take charge. Whether you believe or you like him, he's going to take charge. Okay, but you know what is really fascinating about this chart? Look where Pluto is. Oh, my God. It is exactly the degree of the ascendant. Ascendant 27 Leo. Pluto 27 Leo. What does that mean? Pluto's control. This guy is so controlling. Now, that could be good in the process of what he's doing. But he is so, so very controlling. Pluto rules, control and manipulation. He's going to manipulate and control things to get what he wants in Leo especially. Okay, so that's. That's pretty intense, if you ask me. That can be totally intense. Now his son sits in Virgo. You might think, oh, he's born on October 10th. No, this is sidereal Vedic astrology. His son is in Virgo, which is very, very quiet, critical, scrutinizing. That's what it is. And it's in the second house. He's had an interesting upbringing, and you know what this kind of means. He was born into a family of influence and politics. But, you know, looking at his third house, it's all about the communications. He controls and will manipulate. The communications, the media. Yes, it will. Why? Because Neptune is with Mercury in the third house. The third house deals with communications, and Ketu's there. This is a very intense combination. Mars is in Scorpio in the fourth house. Spin a lot of upheaval in his family. Lots with Mars being in the intense sign of Scorpio. Even in the powerful Nakshatra. Jaista. Jaista gets what it wants. Jaista has Power. His moon sits in Sagittarius and it's even in the Nakshatra called Purva Ashra, which means searching for the truth, truth seeking. That's really what Sagittarius and the moon, it's about justice. You'll hear that come out of his mouth many times before this race is over. Justice. Okay. Saturn in the eighth is not so easy. He does have things to hide. The eighth house is scandals. Yep. He's had his fair share of scandals as well. Rahu in the ninth, powerful, strong father. Okay, so that's just a really brief analysis because what I want to get to is why I think this time favors him in his political run. So what I did was the first thing I'm looking at is I'm going to look up his dasha for the time and this political run will be now November 7th, the year of 2028. Okay, 2028. November 7th. It's a Tuesday. And I pulled up this chart for around midnight because that's when usually we know when or who is the president on that voting day, the last voting day. Okay, so looking at this plug in, where? Well, first let's look at the Dasha because 2028. So he will be in Jupiter Rahu's dasha during this time. Jupiter Rahu starts September 10, 2027 and continues through February 3 of 2020 30. So he is in Jupiter Rahu that entire time. So that's during the time of the elections. Right. So then we go in and we analyze where Jupiter in Rahu is. So looking at his chart, Jupiter is in the first house. And by the way, I didn't point this out. This is really important. His Jupiter sits at 5.5degrees of Leo. Why is that so important? Because that is actually the degree of Donald Trump's ascendant, five degrees of Leo. And why is that so important? Because it is exactly conjunct the fixed star Regulus, which is the star of Kings. And that is why Donald Trump was able to become president with all odds against him, because his ascendant sits on on the fixed star Regulus, which is within the Nakshatra Maga, which a lot of people find it fascinating that that's kind of the name of his party, maga, which is. Yeah, Make America great Again. It's so weird. MAGA is the Nakshatra that rules not only Donald Trump's ascendant, but Gavin Newsom's Jupiter. And with that, this can mean kingship right away. Well, he's the Governor of California. That's a King's position too. But this is very powerful and it's in his first house. Okay, so the fact that he's in Jupiter's Maha Dasha and he's in Rahu's sub cycle, if you will count from Jupiter in the first house around to where Rahu is counting clockwise forward, you, you will find that Rahu goes to the ninth house, the ninth house of spirituality and truth. But in reality, for those of you that know astrology, that Rahu and Jupiter are in an exact trine of each other, a trinal aspect is the luckiest. So the Dasha and the Bhupti of Rahu are the luckiest during this time. They really are. I mean, I'm not just saying that they really are. I was awestruck when I saw just that. But then I'm looking at the chart of the day of the elections and. Wow, look at that. It just blew me away. Because transiting Jupiter will be 21, almost 22 degrees of Virgo. And his sun sits at 23 degrees of Virgo. So it's even an applying exact conjunction to the sun, which is the planet of leadership. And let me tell you, the first go round that Donald Trump won as president. President Jupiter was transiting his second house, just like it will for Gavin Newsom, trining his son in the in the 10th house. That was Donald Trump's chart, the first go round. The second go round that he won transiting Jupiter was on Donald Trump's sun in the 10th house. So Jupiter conjunct the sun gives, gives luck, gives fortune, gives rewards, gives what you want. That is the most powerful aspect you can have. And they were both in effect when Donald Trump won. And that's why I say there are so many similarities. Unbelievable. So then I gotta look and see where are Rahu and Ketu going to be at this time? We have Rahu will be in his fifth house, which is a house of luck and fortune. And it is almost exactly on his mount Moon Rahu gives, but with a price attached to it. Right. So I'm looking at Rahu in Sagittarius, within 2 degrees of his moon in Sagittarius in the fifth house, which actually is a house of politics. That's another give. Unbelievable. So the Dasha is perfect, the Jupiter on the sun is perfect. Remember what I told you. You can go back and listen to each of my videos. Let me repeat this. The first time Donald Trump won, Jupiter was trining his son in the 10th house. Exactly. And he just entered into Jupiter's Maha Dasha. So Gavin Newsom is in Jupiter's Maha Dasha and Jupiter will be conjunct his sun during this time. Furthermore, the second time Donald Trump won, Jupiter was conjunct to sun in the 10th house for Gavin Newsom, Jupiter will be conjunct to sun. And I mean, I'm talking tight orbs almost exact in both instances. I mean, this is so uncanny. So those are the big requirements I look for. The Dasha has to be telling us of a win and Jupiter and Rahu, which are both the planets that give Rahu with a price. I don't know if I would want to be president around the time of 2030 if you looked at the chart. But it's going to be a rough time. But it's all here. And even when I look at all of the other planets, they all really, it's very, very powerful, Very, very, very powerful about this time. So just looking at those things, just looking at those things and you know, Mars will be in his first house. Mars during the time of elections. Mars is energy power. It's in the first house. It's going to be approaching his ascendant. I mean, when I saw this chart and I know where the planets are going to be at the time of the elections, it makes me think that he will probably not only be running for president, but probably win. But I can't say with 100% accuracy yet till I see the opponents. But looking at his chart, I'd say I think he's going to win whether you like it or not. You know what, this is astrology. I have to be detach myself from what I feel the outcome would be. But you know, sometimes I wonder, maybe this is my conspiracy theory mind going, is there someone pulling the strings for all of this and we don't know it. We think, you know, we're the ones making the choice. But maybe even the whole time Trump was supposed to be in and then Gavin and then, you know, all of this is meant to play out in a way that is beyond what we could imagine. I don't know, maybe that's my conspiracy mind thinking, but I have to be true to my astrology. No matter what I gave you who I thought would win before, now I'm seeing the tides are going to turn. So I do think that something really big will happen before this election that will turn the tides to people wanting something different and something in order for them to want to vote for Gavin Newsom. And I believe there are major forces out there that are trying to pull the strings and control things and the astrology gives me all those answers. So I thought you guys might find this a bit entertaining. Like I said, I'll lot can happen in three years. Especially I did notice that Saturn's going to be opposing Gavin Newsom sun for a while this next two years. So it's not going to be so easy. But I guarantee you with where Jupiter is headed, it's even going to station around his natal Jupiter around next to November of 2025. You're going to see him come out of the shadows. Maybe that's when he announces his run. Maybe. But I got to tell you, a lot is coming up. We're going to see more and more and more of Gavin Newsome and he's going to be playing the part to get elected between now and then. Watch and see because it's all in the astrology. So with that I think I'll close for now. We'll, we'll keep you posted and more of what's going on because you know what? People are so entertained by politics and they want to know.
